In my last article I addressed the emerging southern coalition made up of DD, AAA, Solar, Black Legion etc. Some have referred to it as RUS, others as Stainwagon or Neo-Stainwagon, myself included. Unfortunately neither name really justifies them. For example, not everyone in those groups is Russian although the Russians make up a large portion. Next, Stainwagon more accurately describes the group of Stain residence such as Coven, Stain Empire, etc. For the sake of simplicity, we’ll just use “Southern Coalition” for the time being.

Now that we have that out of the way I’d like to refer to something more important in my previous article.

I had addressed that if the CFC decides to back up the SoCo, they should be careful not to do so at the expense of SoCo’s capability or risk destabilizing the region and causing more hardships for the CFC in the long run. Instead of dog piling into Catch to fight N3, a second front should be opened in order to draw N3’s strength in different directions. N3 is definitely the more developed and organized coalition, they aren’t that far developed to leave SoCo completely behind. I had recommended that Curse and the regions surrounding it would be one of the better areas of engagement.

While the CFC has not fully mobilized against N3, they have sent fleets to augment SoCo’s numbers giving them a slight edge. Yesterday EN24 published an announcement by Red Alliance that they would be supporting SoCo by invading via Curse in effect taking the suggestion to the CFC and doing it themselves. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t think “RA is doing this cause I published my rinky dink article” Rather, it was a fairly obvious move to anyone with a bit of strategic competence. Curse offers a perfect launching pad for RA providing stations, easy access to Empire space while also cutting off some supply links and making it difficult for N3 to reinforce logistically.

It’s difficult to say how the war would go without the CFC being involved. For me it is also difficult to give a damn because the fact of the matter is, they are involved. There’s no point about whining about how “unfair” it is anymore than whining about someone flying better implants than you. It’s also a pretty weak face saving argument for N3 yet you hear it all the time. People will form larger and larger groups to acquire their goals. It’s human nature. Accept this and DEAL WITH IT. There is no point wasting an ounce of frustration over this fact. Facts are facts. Flying cov ops I would constantly hear people whining about being “unfairly ganked” and then I would hear their explanation as to how it would not have happened that way had they done X Y and Z. But at the end of the day they were dead.

The same way the N3 membership is just going to have to accept that the CFC is not an entity that is aligned to their interests. For all intents and purposes, SoCo is more likely to be a friend in the future than the CFC. If this status quo is maintained, the east will fall to Solar and Red Alliance and it is simply a matter of time. But how did N3 get here and what can be done to avoid such a fate? I may seem harsh on N3 but the harshness really does come from a place of sugar, love and all nice things. With all the hard time I’ve been giving N3 I will say this, I LIKE N3, I really do. Not as much as I am enjoying SoCo but since they seem to be shedding their underdog status with the CFC support, and the long term relationship of those allied in the south will have a very short expiration date after the war is over, I’m finding some affection for N3. So here is what I’ll do. The same way I recommended for BL to join up with AAA and friends, (which again, they more than likely did on their own, I can’t claim to have influenced anyone,) I’ll put up a few suggestions to help N3. Of course I can only claim a limited perspective on the inner workings of the coalition.

Consolidate your power

In effect this is re-wiring the coalition to be more efficient. N3 has a lot of inconsistencies and needless redundancies in its leadership structure. You really do need a dictator. Even the Roman Republic realized this in time of war and as far as I’m concerned, if you’re playing Eve, you’re always at war. Now this is difficult to do for N3 because its alliance membership is a bit different than the CFC. N3 is composed of two dominant alliances. We could say three if we count PL but I don’t think PL would ever sign its name onto any supra entity so if it does fail, it does not “inherit” that failure.

The two remaining dominant alliances are NCdot and Nulli. Both have pros and cons to them that compliment the other. NCdot has a reputation for their capitals. They have a lot of them. They are more established but also have a longer list of bad relations. Nulli on the other hand perhaps lacks the reputation that NCdot has, in both good and bad ways, but they have a vibrant player base. I always applauded their ability to reinvent themselves after their loss of space. Whatever the case is, there needs to be a level of centralization and integration that makes these two alliances really function as one coalition. If this is done, the rest of the N3 members will follow as well.

What the Goons have done in the CFC is draw as much of the talent out of their coalition members and made the other alliances completely dependent upon them. This was a gradual progress, one that N3 does not have time for. Also some may find it “unethical.”

Make friends

Some define blobbing as being out numbered by your opponent. I define it as the natural result of the enemy establishing links with other like minded individuals to fulfill their goal. So in effect, the reason “N3 is getting blobbed” is because they allowed it to happen. Because of the issues created by NOT consolidating your power, it is difficult to have a unified and cohesive diplomatic policy that benefits the coalition as a whole. Again the move from loose confederation to co-dictatorship needs to be made.

Once that is done, N3 needs to make friends and use their diplomacy better. As far as I have heard, SoCo has failed to establish the TEST remnants as allies. But away the snobbishness and recognize them as competent allies. There once was an alliance who much like TEST, had origins on a non Eve forum. They ended up losing all their space but ended up allying with another group. That alliances was the Goons and their allies was RA. The former owns half of 0.0 and the latter also had a long reign of rule in the drone regions.

Another often over looked entity is CVA. Considering BL just blew up a bunch of CVA dreads, I’m not sure they are looking to help them at all. This may prove difficult as CVA and provibloc tend to not want to upset the status quo of their region too much. Provi will prove to be a linchpin in this conflict if taken advantage of properly. From Provi you can lock down HED-GP, Catch’s only system to Empire space. One could go further and also lock down Efa and Kaira gates in Khanid region effectively cutting off SoCo from Empire space to a large extent. Use that money you have. There’s no point hoarding it. Find pirates, mercs, pay them by the kill to camp these gates. Promise sov, isk, ships, it doesn’t really matter.

A smart tactic that the HBC adopted when they invaded AAA was to promise AAA’s renters free renting space. And you know what? It worked really well. Eventually Montolio had to break his promise due to war expenses but by that time it wasn’t like the AAA renters could go back to AAA renting space…there was none.

Last but not least I’m sure if you throw Rooks a few billion isk, they’ll focus their pipe runs more on your enemy than you.

Negotiate with SoCo

So what is the point of step 1 and 2? To get to step 3 of course. You need step 1 so that you all speak with one voice and you need step 2 to have some leverage in step 3. I just have to ask, am I the only one that finds this war completely hilarious?

If any of you are familiar with the migration period, you’ll know why. For those of you who are not as familiar, you had a period in history known as the “Barbarian Invasion/Migration Period” where you basically had group after group move east to west through Europe due to various factors such as climate, but also because other people. It sort of went like this: The Magyar tribes moved into Europe because the Pechenegs were pushing them because the Kypchak/Cumans were pushing them. Likewise Eve mimics real life.

Solar are going to war because N3 took their space, because N3 lost their sov because the CFC pushed them out of it. AAA are fighting with Nulli because the CFC/HBC pushed Nulli out of Delve and AAA out of Catch. It’s all falling dominoes. Both sides haven’t figured out that it’s all the same players but that they’ve switched chairs.

So as N3 what can you do? Do you just ask “hey swap all our sov for yours?” Probably not as it would be an unfair, and difficult trade. What N3 can do is pick and choose which of their current opponents would make better allies. If you are seriously showing up to the timers thinking “well this is a good ship doctrine, hope we win” you will lose.

So ask yourself, what do your enemies want and what can you negotiate? Solar and RA want their Drone regions back, in effect taking most if not all of N3’s sov and income. There’s no real middle ground, nor are they all that central to SoCo. They greatly bolster their numbers and capabilities but we could probably consider their flexibility to be fairly minimal.

But how far east does AAA and Dark want to go? I doubt they want to set up in the Drone regions. More than likely they would be happy simply having the territory that Red Overlord had. If giving up a couple regions in the south to AAA would mean taking AAA and Dark out of the war, wouldn’t it be worth doing? Then you would face Solar, who’d be upset at AAA/Dark naturally, who’s only option would be to attack via Curse with a weakened RA. I doubt Black Legion would care to stick around for that.

Nulli would be best to approach this sort of deal and I’ll tell you how to do it. Remind AAA that their woes are not due to anything N3 had done, but rather the CFC which pushed them out of Catch, just as they pushed Nulli out of Delve. Right there you have a common bond. Furthermore, that CFC/HBC invasion of the south happened only because Red Alliance was given Querious in a peace treaty, but that they were not content with such a deal. Here you go further to draw AAA away from their war ally, and truthfully this really is the case.

If AAA understands this, and they have regions like Omist and Tenerifis, what would be their purpose in the war? Help Solar and RA, former/possible enemies gain a bunch of regions in the east? Both of which are entities on friendly terms with the CFC who has been a historic enemy of AAA? What would be the point?

Think about it, give those regions to AAA, negotiate for a peace, plan for what Nulli REALLY wants to do and what the “purpose of N3” is. Two sides are fighting over a “wrong” a third did.

Russians Tend not to Honor agreements with non russians. The -a- of today is not the -a- of yesterday, to compare the 2 is to compare water and oil. And Im in the -a- today and loving it, but it has a lot of rebuilding to do before it becomes anytthing near as relevant as it was before.

That said instead of preemptively attack offering the new DRF tenerifis and Omist could have turned them into allies instead of enemies. But instead N3 decided to fuck with the conquest of a meaningless alliance in catch.

The DRF has been reborn thought, and it is a powerful coalition. This isnt a war that will be decided by the outcome of fights. This is a war of wills, who will keep fleeting up for the longest

im no expert but i do see that as helping solar and all but openly declaring war with N3. why else would you allow Solar and its allies to base out of your space so close to the N3 Border.

rather then start the war on the back foot N3 said “fuck it” and tried to go for a head shot. which Should have worked tbh but as everyone knows there were some party crashers. they expected that CFC would come down it was not hard to imagine. so GG N3 for having balls and DBRB still cant kill a super cap… just saying.

N3 is not going to give away space to try and get peace.

    1. the Russians would take the space and carry on fighting.
    2. N3 are proud to be the best PvP coalition, if they lost the sov war it would not change the fact that they are the better players. The fact they are the better players is why they are always so heavily outnumbered and despised by the weaker players bent on their “destruction”.

    3. N3 doesn’t need to win the sov war, Nulli and NC. know that sov is only temporary, if they lost they would just move onto other things, reputation in fully in tact.

    4. If N3 were to loose their space this would in fact probably be good for Nulli and NC. who would almost certainly become long term mercenaries and more importantly leave only the Russian coalition and the CFC in null sec, forcing them to engage each other, as if the CFC did nothing they would be in real danger of being second to the Russians.

IF CFC really wants to help SoCo, they need to dogpile on SoCo vs. N3 fights, NOT create a second front.

N3’s true weakness lies not on fighting a 2 front war (they can fight it off easily using JB network) but on maintaining their capital supremacy. CFC has proven in the Fountain that when enough Baltecs & FYFs are deployed, capital fleets can easily be demolished.

If N3 was forced a choice, they’d rather have a 2nd front rather than fighting an unstoppable armada.

on full force deployement, CFC on its own is an unstopable armada.

so a second front would mean N3 facing an unstopable armada in north , and angry russians in south.

But at least N3 would be able to fight and compete/win on southern front.

Fact is if everyone shit piles you at the same time there’s nothing anyone could do to change an outcome of it being war lost.
If everyone fought cfc they would fall gaurantee, which is why mittens breaks people up through lies manipulation, and currently using Rus as a puppet.

N3 was badly shaped from the start. not a true coaliton , more a pile of alliances with differents goals , and some common interrest.
because of that , no strong leadership can arise.

as they needed numbers , they did enrole litteraly anyone in N3 , some are truely playing the coalition game , some never did and never will.
N3 leadership also made some fatal errors , most obvious was starting a war with solar , and also teaming up with PL.

and last but not least , N3 leadership seems unable to make grunts mass loggin in the game for more than 2 weeks in row.

the joke has lasted long enough now. it’s time for N3 to die.

Your terrible at this shit, you expect people to take that tripe seriously.

NCdot/PL were contracted by RA/xXdeathXx to push Solar and friends back.
This very early war saw Solar stab WN and allies in the back creating the civil war.
Solar were raping RA/xXdeathXx so can’t blame them for buying support at the time.

Solar took that personally against NCdot/PL although they were contracted no differently than how Solar Contracted BL.
In essence Solar hated the fact that NCdot/PL were contracted and did push solar back. Solar likes to think its the best most elite Rus alliance with pets around it & doesn’t take kindly to losing persistantly against NCdot.
      History and actions support this.
Their Ego and greed are their biggest weaknesses, Mactep is a nut case, got to be something wrong with the dude.

Lol at whole “Solar stab WN and allies in the back creating the civil war” thing.
WN was neutral for SOLAR at this time, and the so-called “allies” have sheltered the fugitive director BigMaman, who stole 900b from SOLAR. Any self-respecting alliance would start the war after that.

Confirming that Lawl Sperge is in-fact sperging uncontrollably. As Geth says, WN had no involvement in the war and SOLAR did not aggress WN whatsoever, so “backstabbing” WN is just BS. And it was in-fact LOD that betrayed SOLAR first in regards to the alliance thief, BigMaman.

Furthermore, SOLAR was raping LOD/RA despite being outnumbered 3+:1. Remember, at that time, SOLAR only had 1200 dudes (plus a couple hundred more from WING) vs. RA with 2000+ (IIRC), LOD (1600) and their shit ton of pet alliances (Flamebridge, RED Legion etc.). Obviously SOLAR would resent NC./PL for adding to the dogpile just as SOLAR were barely squeaking out (sov) victories bit by bit. NC. and PL’s involvement almost stole the war for LOD, if it wasn’t for the heroic SOLAR resistance in Cache and the participation of Gypsy Band and AAA towards the end of the war. Seeing victory in sight during a hard fought war and having that taken away from you because of the “greed” and “cowardice” (as N3 would later say of SOLAR when they tried to take advantage of Dotbros in Geminate) of NC./PL sucker punching/taking advantage of SOLAR in the middle of a difficult fight/war, of course SOLAR is going to develop an enmity towards PL/NC. And SOLAR gave it to NC. just as good as they got, so the whole “persistent history of losing against NC.” is propaganda BS frankly.

Lastly, someone from NC. criticizing an alliance leader for having too great an “ego” is pretty rich considering you have Vince Draken, probably the biggest douchebag/ego in all of EVE. He’s right up there with The Mittanni.

If you don’t like that then a logical explanation is your in cfc.

Everyone has a place. They same way if say Rus or N3 were defeated they would have to go somewhere, NCdot/ PL/nulli etc would never be renters.
Infact a PL/NCdot leaned up and back in mercenary business would be a lot of peoples worse nightmare, the amount of tears from everyone they would randomly gank, if half as much as it was before then many bears/alliances would have the unknown factor of are we next, are we going to get hot dropped, ganked etc,not knowing where they might strike. At least here you know they have responsibilities withing their coalitions, so are somewhat limited.

Providence won’t side with anyone on this. They will merely whore when they can. If you are asking yourself why in general, or why won’t they man up?

    Why should they?

1.) They constantly are threatened by both parties involved, meaning you guys aren’t exactly wanting to be friends with them.

2.) They know you won’t offer them anything in return… and more likely stab them in the back whenever possible

3.) If anything all it does is create enemies that don’t just want to be frenemies, but actually be pissed off at them for possibly turning a side in a war.

4.) Basically theres no positives, and only negatives can come from this for provi… so don’t ever expect them to take sides, just merely whore whenever possible.

This could be a weak move, but its more likely a smart move. It’s more weak to sell out and to side with people who don’t like you anyways. So why bother? In fact posting anything more about Providence possibly helping (Article keeps saying CVA but they aren’t even most of the force) is just dumb and should be noted that it is in the future. They don’t want to help because either side they pick is a losing side for them. It’s better to have frenemies than real bitter enemies especially when they already kick you around as it is.

I think the anger is really misplaced. Nulli was upset about how -A- “defended” their ally, aka Makalu bringing in a token Tengu fleet to snipe some kills. At least that is how i have heard Nulli describe it. Fact of the matter is there wasn’t enough trust put between Nulli and AAA so Delve, PB and Catch were lost. With Makalu gone, the sins can be placed on his head and Nulli and AAA COULD become allies again. Or they can continue to fight while the third watches and wins. When two fight, a third wins.

      November 14, 2013 at 1:49 am Reply
      1. Gothic Light

And maka is with PL, which is allied with Nulli/N3.

You are correct the pre-hbc soco “led” by -A- threw nulli under the bus after nulli offered to take the lead and actually organise a defensive war. This was more a difference of perspective though as Rusrus always tends to play the semi-long game where they lose all their space, retreat into stain then come back and retake it during the winter. Nulli didn’t think that was a good strategy for their alliance and found allies whos view was more in line with their own when it came to sov war.

The reality is that Mittens won Eve, everyone just needs to accept this and stop crying about it spouting whatifs. He’s played every remaining entity of note in nullsec against each other so many times they will _NEVER_ work together even if it meant they could destabilize the goon hegemony of null.

Just go back to your respective wars, get fights and entertainment where you can, Eve will most likely be dying off within the next 3-5 years. It’s both a great game and a terrible game, it’s existed as the only option in a niche market for a very long time and that will be coming to an end soon.

        November 14, 2013 at 2:49 am Reply
        1. Soulxlight

That won’t be coming to an end anytime soon. Eve is a game where cheating, griefing and stealing from other paying players is an accepted and encouraged activity . . . no other game coming out has anything like that. Most other games, even “sandbox” games put rules into place explicitly outlawing any type of mechanic like that which also limits the sandbox element of them. This is why every space MMO fails since they are basically space games based around WoW like elements. Once people realize they’re basically WoW in space they continue to play WoW and let their subscriptions laps. Eve is safe as long as they continue to improve Eve. While they might not grow substantially they’ll survive.

          November 14, 2013 at 4:27 am Reply
          1. Gothic Light

Unless the sov system is modified in such a way as to discourage putting the maximum number of people into a single system at the same time Eve will probably “die” a lot sooner than you might think. When I say die I just mean hit the point where more players are unsubbing permanently then new players joining. The gameplay of Eve in nullsec is currently terrible, it’s only the player communities and the hoards of highsec casuals holding it all together at the moment.

TiDi being marginally better then blackscreening isn’t any sort of arguement for a real improvement to actual gameplay. At least when you blackscreened in Uemon you could say, “Whelp fuck it, everyone else is blackscreened too.” Then go out to dinner. With TiDi you are pretty much forced to sit there in front of the PC for an hour or two waiting for a module to activate or enter warp while more and more people pile into a system making it even worse. That isn’t better. It doesn’t even address the real problem.

I hate to sound like a completely jaded bittervet but I am simply not seeing anything in the works which would give me hope that Eve’s gameplay will improve within the next 2 years, if anything the problems will continue to get worse until a mass unsub exodus happens. I don’t even think there needs to be a replacement for Eve for this to occur.

I dunno, maybe fozzie can tackle the sov system and supercaps to fix a lot of issues but I’m skeptical, getting the feeling it will be too little too late. Just my opinion.

What’s the evidence for this claim that Russians tend to backstab one another more than Americans or Europeans? What, because Russians have fought other Russians before? Hell, since the beginning of this game, it’s been just about non-stop wars where Americans have fought Americans and Europeans have fought Europeans. So, citing some sort of “Russian Civil War” doesn’t mean much, especially considering that Russians have fought mostly Russians on only one major occasion, whereas Europeans/Americans have fought one another in major (civil) wars just about every year since 2003.

The SOLAR and LOD war was sparked by a director from SOLAR stealing 900 billion ISK (IIRC) and running to LOD, after which LOD refused to get the money back or punish the individual (IIRC), that built enmity between them and eventually led to war. How is that any different from the the personal incident involving Wicked Princess between BL and NC. that ended their friendship, created enmity and eventually led to this war?

Actually I lived in Stain during 2011 as part of Stainwagon. And yes you can “cut” or “damage” logistics by holding certain systems and territory. Holding the Khanid area gates leading into 0.0 and even some systems more in toward 0.0 will hamper logistics.

For example when I was doing diplomacy for Venga Inc in Bombers Bar, we were constantly attacking HED-GP. When the CFC/HBC was pushing into Catch we caught several transports for fuel and ships heading to GE via the jump bridge route.

I didn’t say HED was the most important system, but simply a piece of the puzzle. Certain systems have importance based on your strategy. And I don’t think AAA “wants peace” but I also don’t think they want to fight just to give solar some territory to rent out without anything in return. But who knows, maybe AAA is running a charity.

NC. is the USA military of the internet space ship sandbox. Everyone hates them because deep down they want to be them. The CFC and Russians can push them out of their SOV. Nothing will change as long as there is 0.0 NPC space to base out of. They will take their space back if they want. They have many experienced vets who can afford to play without SRP and would have just as much fun being mercenaries.

Seraph, I really appreciate your articles, but I have to disagree with you. Whole article has basically only ONE idea behind it – What must be done on N3 side in order to keep space. You approach and assumption about this game is very different from N3 leadership’s view. Let me tell you why.
    1. You are trying to compare two different coalitions to each other and proposing one to use leadership structure from another. Just FYI N3 will never even think of doing whatever CFC did. Nobody in N3 will sign for having their one and only space tyran. CFC needs that kind of leadership because their players are incapable of doing things on their own. It’s much easier for them to be managed like that. N3 has a lot of old pilots in it who are proud of being capable getting shit done on their own or with small numbers. Those are pilots who basically are proud members of their corp first of all and only after they are members of alliance/coalition.
    2. Have you ever thought that perhaps this is exactly what N3 wants? I can say from NC. perspective that this is actually how people think game should be played. This game is about destruction and not creation. NC. pilots view this as a good turn of events, target rich environment, sort of a kid with machine gun running around and spraying bullets all over the place. Leading alliances in N3 are less tide to space and prefer to risk it for sake of an epic battle rather then kiss somebody’s ass to save it. While people in other coalitions view space as their home, majority of N3 member view it as a chance of picking a fight. I think I know Vince good enough to say that this is his happy hour. They will lose space, so what? They will just reform somewhere else, plan new campaign and dive into it.

I first just want to say how much I appreciate an intelligent criticism of my articles rather than “where did X alliance touch you lulz.”

      1. When I was comparing N3 and the CFC it was only to contrast them. I understand that the N3 does not want to run things like the CFC. I personally wouldn’t want to be an alliance leader in a coalition where the leader of said coalition poaches and keeps my alliance only strong and competent enough to be of use to the “mother alliance.” So my suggestion wasn’t that N3 do what the CFC does, but rather simply consolidate some of its power and have a wee bit more centralization. N3 seems very much so like a “throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks” coalition. If you want long term success and a lasting impact you simply have to get “serious” and “professional” about how you do things. Sure the CFC come off as a bunch of slack jawed idiots but the leadership is very competent.

      2. I’m sorry to say this but I think point 2 outlines the “sour grapes” culture which is specific to the “elite pvp mentality.” You know…”didn’t want that sov anyway.” Well…yeah you do and so does your alliance and so does your coalition. If you didn’t want sov, you wouldn’t be holding sov. But the fact of the matter is, sov gets you rich, it gets you ships and it lets you shoot others. So in order to “destroy” you have to “create” even if all you are creating is a weapon. You don’t have to have sov to get fights. Drop all your sov, go base out of Torrinos in high sec and go attack the CFC via EC-P8R. Trust me you’ll get fights. I bet if you bring 500 dudes to EC-P8R every day, you’ll get a good fight every day. No timers, no sov mechanic bs etc. The argument that “we don’t want sov” reminds me of how Mittens complained about sov mechanics and that was the reason they did not go to war with the HBC when TEST actually a proper structure and organization to possibly even win the war in Fountain.

So in conclusion, if people don’t want sov, they wouldn’t be holding it. And NCdot may be a better alliance “at pvp” man for man, I don’t disagree with this, but that’s not the only factor that makes you win wars.

      November 14, 2013 at 5:44 pm Reply
      1. Rhae

I think your view of “winning” is wrong. N3 is winning this war for the simple reason of their is a war. N3 for the most part lives for fighting, the sov supports that habit and allows them to field about any ship they want. They now have constant fighting, that is allowing them to straighten up their house. New fc’s are getting to take out fleets and getting trained on the job, cap tactics are getting sharpened.

Also what motivation does n3 have to really invade the russians seriously…think about it for oh 5 seconds. n3 was able to grind in a DAY what 4 regions, during fountain war…but cant take a system now……really… If n3 really was serious about ending this war, then every system would be sbu’ed, and around the clock super fleets…but this it not happening…..why…

        November 15, 2013 at 7:46 am Reply
        1. Seraph IX Basarab

Grinding 4 regions that nobody was invading but rather were simply un-soved from the inside is different than taking ONE system from an enemy that will defend it. It isn’t happening due to lack of capability. If N3 could, they’d be in VFK right now.

This will happen the normal Eve way, the DTF will start having an impact and the CFC will start deploying for fun and suddenly its a full on war, if the CFC come in full force and they will, N3 will get crushed. And no one should expect PL to stay with N3, they are only interested in their own position. And in any case CFC now have parity with N3/PL in terms of capitals, the only issue is that they are not as good at using them…

This is true. Vince Draken mishandled the war in Tribute badly on more than one occasion. He’s had ample opportunity to become a beloved leader of the crowds of anti CFC people all over Eve but he’s squandered it. I’m not sure he’ll have the chance again.

That is not true actually. We did not strike Solar’s holdings in Geminate a few weeks before the tribute war. Solar ambushed our carriers on one of our tech moons that brick squad reinforced kicking off our Geminate war that went on until we took Geminate from Solar/Gypsy Band.

Dear writer, though i admire your ability to make a story out of virtually nothing, you managed to get even that “nothing” wrong.
RA didn’t state anything about helping the NeoSoCo. They have only stated that they are about to harass their former pets DSP, and they claim that their goal is to drive them away. And so far they have only spoken, no deeds i managed to see actually confirm their goals.
Regarding trading “territories for peace” i don’t think you grasped the statement by Unionn in the start of this conflict:
“We will either finish this war back in T-8 (Stain initial home system for -DD- before taking down the HBC) or camping the shit out the station in Amamake.”
I don’t see any offer/opening to resolve the differences by trading regions for peace in that, but then again diplomacy never ceases to surprise, so we’ll see. Maybe N3 will be willing to throw PL into the dumpster, that will be the day.

Also, let me quote the key sentence of this article: “Negotiate with SoCo”. That is the reason for this war: N3 are cowards. They dont deserve what they’ve got and should be purged. Aligning with PL was the surest way to get the agression of RUS. That alliance is the most despised one, for switching sides when odds are not is their favor. If EVE needs any kind of Legion, that should be the Black Legion, not the Pathetic one.

U-huh, why go to war, let’s just trade regions and live in peace and harmony.

And while I’m flattered that RA got so much attention and was even placed alongside Solar, but being a realist, I must say these two alliances are in different leagues. At the moment, RA is a minor player in this war, so I doubt any power block would seriously bother taking it into account in their strategy.

It’s not certain if we get anything from anyone in this war, except for the opportunity to poke N3’s pets. But hey, this alone is a good enough reason for us to fight.

“Nulli would be best to approach this sort of deal and I’ll tell you how
to do it. Remind AAA that their woes are not due to anything N3 had
done, but rather the CFC which pushed them out of Catch, just as they
pushed Nulli out of Delve. Right there you have a common bond.”

Pretty dumb. Nulli is hated more than CFC purely because nulli cut and run from the war to defend their space and then came back south, switched sides and invaded AAA space along side HBC. At least CFC/HBC were always hostile….AAA took goons space a few times….the CFC love they received was just part of war. Nulli on the other hand are at the absolutely bottom of the pond scum along side PL.

They didn’t really cut and run. They realized at the time AAA wasn’t going to help them out either so they figured it was like they weren’t even working with AAA once the shit hit the fan. That’s when they decided to leave.

A lot of flaming and shit throwing here. I think you guys are missing the big picture here. N3 is not the enemy that controls half of New Eden.
I ask the RUS block to think about it. After that you will see the strings that are attached to you and guess who is the puppet master?
It is time to put the past grudges aside and look to the future. For the sake of the game.
There is plenty of space for everyone once CFC falls.

Like I said, there would be plenty of space to go around.
Now the fact of who started it sounds a little childish to my taste. It all depends when you think this all started. To me it was Tribute war, Solar had a chance to align with NC. but decided to do once again CFC-s bidding.
It’s all a matter of perspective. And this way nothing changes. Mittens is still on his fat chair, laughing.

Its to late, cfc had done their work, and rus trusted them. We should try to ruin fun for mittens, he is simply a maggot.

sorry, n3 didn’t start this war. However you are being told that they did, which is fine and well I guess. After all the south is in the business of lying to their members, I’ve done it for years.

Technically, N3 DID start this war by SBUing GE, allegedly as a “pre-emptive strike” or to “send a message.” That was unquestionably the opening shot of the war. SW granting SOLAR docking rights for some station in Catch or w/e hardly counts as the start of this war (that’s what N3 claims). Lastly, someone ran the numbers a week or two ago and N3 actually own more systems than CFC, in-fact, nearly as many as CFC+SW. IIRC, the count was something like 900+ for N3, 700 or 800 for CFC and 300 for SW. N3 might even be making more money than CFC on account of all their renters too, so the future big baddy in EVE might not be CFC after all….

I would be careful about what you say about “CFC pets”.
At least they get to win. And they’ve never been sent packing en masse from entire regions.

I know n3 has a large renter income. Anybody know what type of income the Russian + friends have and how they compare? I find this game hard to get into, but geesh its fun to watch these groups fight each other over resources and stuff.

Russians a lot of RMT from renters etc. A lot of botting, you only have to roam their space to see the tell tell signs.

Pretty much the same rmt?, except SoCo/DTF rentals incomes pale in significance to N3’s trillions per month.

Both entitles have high number self sufficient pilots and very very rich dudes tbfh.

Also BL receive mercs isk and tributes or handouts depends on your POV?
