I’m happy to announce that with Rubicon, you will be able to refit your subsystems on your Tech 3 cruiser in space.
This change will apply to any fitting service in space, supplied by SMA, a capital ship with a fitting service (like the Orca) or even the new deployable the Mobile Depot.

Fitting the subsystems works just like in station, you can drag and drop to the fitting window to refit. Any modules that need to be unfitted will be returned to your cargo hangar. The replaced subsystem will return to the destination that the new subsystem was taken from. For example if you decide to use a new engineering subsystem from an Orca fleet hangar, the subsystem you currently have fitted will be placed inside the Orca fleet hangar.

While we are placing modules from your ship into your cargo hold, you can overload your cargo this way. It is important to remember this, and make sure you can safely store away the modules which were removed.

In the past, refitting subsystems in space has always been a tricky subject. In terms of development time, it required quite a lot of time to think about and then implement. Previously we have had many more features that took higher priority, features that we could deliver in the same amount of time as this one.

Therefore Team Super Friends would like to thank your friendly CSM for providing their reasonable things list. With this list it was helpful to prioritize what features you wanted the most. (So hug a CSM member and continue to support them!)

It should be on Singularity starting tomorrow for you to try out, I’ll update this post when it is on Sisi.
So please do so and provide any feedback that you have.

Thanks guys! P

  1. T3 are fine

This will be a welcome change for wormholers and a few other niche professions to be sure. I just hope its not a “buff” to excuse the future nerfing of t3 hulls into near uselessness ala the “rabid dogs” idiocy weve been hearing from ccp.

The null sec cartels cannot control wh space, since it is so difficult to blob in there, and individual pilot skills are a premium in there. And if you cannot control the territory, you cannot control the income. Hence, the cartels are getting CCP to nerf the shit out of T3’s, basically hammering one of the wh corp’s and alliances income streams. Blue loot, at the moment, appears to be safe. But once T3’s are wiped out in effectiveness, the demand will crash, and voila, all groups involved in T3 mfg are screwed.

Right now, we have baltec, one of the goons FC’s and premiere sociopaths, publicly stating on the forums that CCP wants to have the T3 fall somewhere between the T1 and T2 in effectiveness. Now, CCP has not stated anything of the kind, but has stated they want to wreck them. It will be quite enlightening to see if baltec has let the cat out of the bag too early about what the cartels have told CCP what the ships will be reduced to.

CCP has stated exactly that that is where they want them. they had a graph adn diagram and everything at fanfest. they want them to “fulfill multiple roles at once” on the battlefield, without being near as good at any of them as the T2 counterpart for that role, basically meaning were gonna have ships with piss bonuses for a whole lot of unrelated things, overalling coming to a mediocre ship with mediocre capabilities, who will be able to perform similar to a T1 or faction ship for what will still be at minimum 5x the cost.

        1. CCP Metrics

As always CCP fails to recognize the basic problems here. T3s and their bonuses are not the problem. The problem is the ease of fielding 1000s of them. Force Projection, Sov Warfare and Supercoalitons are the problem and the things that will kill Eve in the med to long run. Every ship you can field in massive numbers becomes stupidly good, no matter what. So i guess the best thing would be to nerf all ships to hell and back so that we can finally all enjoy our challenging and fun gameplay experience while flying t1 fitted noobships.

1000s of noobships would overpower smaller number of noobships, and would hence need to be nerfed.

          2. Ur Stupid

Stupid reasoning as you could say the same about 1000s of rifters. Counter? 1000s of frigate killing cruisers. It’s nothing to do with numbers, it’s to do with the ship.

          3. Dumbcunt

Relevant bonuses and ships with a minimum survivability threshold, numbnut. Also this has nothing to do with counters but with CCP nerfing stuff because of broken nullsec mechanics, while not fixing those basic problems. They are just dealing with the symptoms, not the actual disease.

I personally blame Fozzy for this. He is a tard that obviously canĀ“t foresee things farther away than the tip of his fucking nose.

You’re an idiot. CCP was only talking about roll effectiveness and not over all performance. Aka they were talking about how tengu jams should stack up compared to t1 and t2 jam boats and not the fact that the tengu is a badass hull.

Wow.. almost as useless as dual skilling on the same account.. maybe the same 3 people who do that will do this now. wtf is wrong with ccp? honestly. It must be asked.

    2. The Obvious

You apparently have never tried WH space, this is huge for wormholers. It should have been this way from the beginning considering a T3 is meant to do it all when all subsystems are available. Long range deployment and logisitcs for WH pilots just got a lot better.

What must be asked is how long you’ve been playing Eve as you’re about as clueless as greedy goblin talking PVP.
