The battle for 9UY4-H Part 2

The night started off as a The Unthinkables Talwar gang entered system, as they gate camped the 4B gate a small Provi-Block bomber squad warped at 30 from them. As they unleashed their bombs the gang of Talwar’s engaged, locked in aggression and so unable to jump through the gate the Talwar gang quickly died in a ball of fire. First blood of the evening went to Provi-Block with 50 Talwar kills (+50 pods) for 5 bombers.

Reports of a Spaceship Samurai gang coming to 9UY4-H through Providence reached the intel channels and so Rooks and Kings geared up for one of their legendary pipe-bomb runs. As Spaceship Samurai warped to the next gate in their route they caught themselves stuck in a drag bubble. Just before they were able to warp off a Eris landed on grid and bubbled them again, sealing their fate. RnK warped onto the Moa fleet and slaughter happened. Killmails

The Provi-Block main fleet jumped into 9UY4-H and parked up in a POS, learning from the mistakes from their fight on the 19th of October they decided to wait it out and let the rest of the alliances in local fight it out before warping in and killing off any stragglers. Unfortunately for them the CFC never showed up in considerable numbers and The Stainwagon forces decided to camp the outgates from the fight rather than engage directly. Left alone the Insidious Empire/Pandemic Legion/Northern Coalition. forces began to engage the station. Black legion then bridged in with their 187.5km Sniping Tengu fleet. Landing 100km off the Northern Coalition. Ishtar’s they began to take out Ishtar’s at a rate of 1 per 2 seconds, while sustaining no losses. The Northern Coalition. Ishtar’s warped off, unable to hit the Black Legion tengu’s who had pulled to a range of 150km by this point. As the Pandemic Legion Tengu’s began aligning to the Black Legion Tengu’s disaster strikes for EMP.

Fresh from his outstanding bomb run against Provi-Block forces from the previous night, DingoGS had come back with even more bombers. As a Hero CFC sabre de-cloaked and bubbled the EMP fleet, they began aligning out. When a bomb run hits a bubbled fleet it also destroys the Dic bubble that is launched, unfortunately for the Insidious Empire fleet this would not help them because one of their newer pilots happened to be flying a HIC. As the bombs land the HIC pilot bubbles up and so the EMP fleet’s fate is sealed. I’m sure the CFC would like to personally thank F1k Anderson who was flying the HIC (Heavy interdictor) that managed to wipe out the entire Insidious Empire fleet.

For the next few minutes Northern Coalition. forces returned to station and pushed it ever closer to its next Reinforcement cycle, while Pandemic Legion and Black Legion played warping games with each other. Oddly enough despite their Tengu’s being Short-range fit Pandemic Legion decided to not bring any logistic’s instead going with a spider tanking setup with Deadspace shield transfers (Tengu Loss) with Pandemic Legion only loosing 1 tengu that night the setup certainly has its strengths.

As Northern Coalition. forces engaged the station Provi-Block managed to land a bubble on them, as they de-cloak to launch their bombs, another Provi-Block bomber squadron de-cloaked and bombed them. 20 Provi-Block Bomber’s went down and the Northern Coalition. Ishtar fleet got a lucky escape. Pandemic legion now left alone against a Sniping Black Legion tengu fleet also warped off and so Black Legion left alone and bored at the station head off to a safe. Triumvirate then proceed to warp to station looking for fight’s but found it empty. Pandemic legion warped back to station and Triumvirate proceeded to get their asses handed to them from the Pandemic legion t3 fleet. As triumvirate warped off, Black legion warped in and began to snipe Pandemic legion support ships. Unable to hit the Black Legion ships, Pandemic Legion is forced off field. Over the next couple of minutes we see Triumvirate, Black legion, Pandemic Legion and Northern Coalition. forces all warping to and from the station trying to get a favourable engagement against each other.

Eventually Triumvirate realise they are not going to be able to break the Pandemic Legion Tengu’s tank and unable to match the combined numbers of Pandemic Legion and Northern Coalition. they withdraw to a safe in system, waiting for a chance to strike. Black Legion continued sniping Pandemic Legion and Northern Coalition. support ships as they wore down the station. Goonswarm federation attempted another bomb run on the Northern Coalition. ishtar’s but they quickly warped off before the bombs connected.

Reports come in that Insidious Empire had reshipped into their standard Brutix fleet and so the Main Provi-Block sentry fleet jumped through the 4B gate preparing to engage the Insidious Empire forces. As Insidious Empire landed they sustained heavy losses to the already setup Provi-Block Sentry fleet. As Insidious Empire aligned out, Provi-Block Dic’s and Hic’s continued to bubble them in so that the main fleet could continue to slaughter them. Triumvirate smelling blood in the water jumped through to 4B and engaged the Provi-Block forces. Provi-Block swapped their attention to Triumvirate, allowing Insidious Empire forces to warp off and regroup. The battle was going fairly equally when Northern Coalition. and Pandemic Legion warped to the 4B gate, forgetting the station temporarily and deciding instead to pursue the Provi-Block fleet. Black Legion unable to warp through the 4B gate without a good chance of loosing their entire fleet (range is their only tank) camped the 9UY4-H -> 4B gate trying to pick off any stragglers that lagged behind. Now vastly outnumbered the Provi-Block fleet disengaged and jumped into 9UY4-H limping back to their Safe POS with a good portion of their fleet lost. Triumvirate engaged Pandemic Legion/Northern Coalition. in 4B but vastly outnumbered they warped off and headed home.

Corebloodbrothers the Provi-Block fc called for his members to reship but unfortunately for him the Provi-Block members had lost faith and so the fleet was stood down. Elo Knight got in touch with Provi-Block asking for a titan bridge home (jumping through gates with their tengu fit would be suicide), the bridge is arranged and so Black Legion leave for the night. Northern Coalition. and Pandemic Legion jumped back into 9UY4-H, forced the station into its next Reinforcement cycle and headed home.

But where was Nulli Secunda you ask? Well Nulli secunda decided to form up 70 bombers to enter the fray but were caught on the way in by a Stainwagon gate camp of tengu’s, and so lost the majority of their bombers and so didn’t have a significant impact on the fight.

Despite not loosing their entire fleet, Provi-Block yet again failed to stop the enemy forces forcing the next Reinforcement cycle and so the battle can only be considered a failure for them. With the next I-HUB timer coming out the 21st of October and the next Station timer coming out the 23rd of October, Provi-Block now has to face the real possibility of loosing a Key system that links North and South Providence. With the north and south split, how much longer could Northern Providence hold out?

Battle reports have been incredibly unreliable for this fight but approximately 1500 ships were lost over the 2 systems, with Insidious Empire loosing the most, Pandemic Legion the least.

Approximately 40b isk of ships were lost, with 25b+ going to a GSF bomb run led by DingoGS.

I’ve never been bombed so many times in my eve career. Repping up a 200 man fleet from bomb damage 3 times takes a lot of time too.

Also, those snipe tengus are so gay, and they don’t even do anything.

This is as much lies and propaganda as part 1. The fleet wasn’t stood down because of low morale, it was stood down because it was getting late and the station had gone into reinforced so there was no real point in continuing. This isn’t news. It’s diarrhea.

I wasn’t on comms, but to be “lost faith” is kind of:
