With the war between The Stainwagon and Providence Bloc slowly starting to get more and more intresting, it would appear the attention of other parties are being pulled by the abudent kills to be had.

The following Battle Report is written by Elazar ”The Voice Of The People” Keon:

Battle Report
At around 21:30 eve time on Saturday, 14.09.2013, the final timer for the I-hub in CVA held ERVK-P in Northern Catch came out of reinforce. The Provi Bloc formed up a full Rail Rokh Fleet with an overflow fleet consisting of kitchen sink battlecruisers, cruisers and frigates. Black Legion formed a fleet consisting of over 100 Sniper Tornados to support the Provi Bloc Fleet. As usual, the Stainwagon formed a Rokh Fleet. However, this time, we also formed a Rail Tengu fleet. Both fleets were around 150 members strong. While the numbers for both sides were even, the Stainwagon had the tactical advantage of having tighter fleet comps.

The Tengu fleet (from which the footage is taken) was bridged a few jumps from ERVK-P and burned by gate and jumped in to greet the Provi Bloc’s kitchen sink fleet on the gate and BL Tornados at optimals. Immediately Stainwagon FCs were primaried both by Provi Bloc and Elo Knight (presumably because we killed his Vulture in the last fight). Not long after the engagement began, the BL fleet warped out to go try to alpha some of our Rokhs who were bridging into system at the time. Meanwhile, our Tengu fleet cleaned up Provi stragglers left on the gate while the rest fled to safety.

Once the gate grid was clear, both Stainwagon fleets moved to the I-hub and began grinding. Not long after, a cyno belonging to Provi Bloc was lit 200 km away from the Stainwagon fleets, a grave mistake made by their FC/cyno pilot which very well cost them their entire fleet. Their battleships were simply annihilated with the combined damage of the Railgus and the Rokh Fleet. All the while, the BL Tornado fleet would warp-in, try to alpha more of our FCs / Anchors. After the Provi Bloc Rokh Fleet had been decimated, we continued to shoot the I-hub. Not long after, a cyno went up in system. We warped our Railgu fleet to the cyno and found that the fight with Provi-Bloc was just getting started as they bridged more reinforcements into system. After killing several Rokhs and support which we managed to catch with bubbles on the cyno, the Black Legion Tornado fleet warped in within our range. Upset that BL killed 3 of our 5 FCs / Anchors, Elo Knight was called primary. As usual, this caused BL to flee the scene. We then warped back to the I-hub and continued grinding.

After a few minutes, to our surprise, the Provi Bloc fleet warped at 100 km from our Railgu and Rokh Fleets. A fight ensued which resulted in many more dead Provi Bloc Battleships. After round 2 resulted in nothing but carnage for the Provi Bloc Fleet, they fled the scene and we were left to finally finish killing the I-hub and return home.

Initiative are not shit, in fact they are rather good, what especially interested me was the rail Tengu’s used by -DD- so I went and looked for a kill and found James Dimmick who I have had the pleasure of killing, interesting and very nice fit and if I am not mistaken something that others will be emulating soon!

      1. i can confirm that the cfc has been playing around with this doctrine recently. However it has yet to be field tested.

I was just checking out the Eagle, and I have to say it looks pretty damn good, I could get a tank to the same level as a Zealot, better DPS at the Scorch range and I dual prop’d it too with a sensor booster, I was thinking that really gives great options. The Eagle may go from ship that no one wanted to a real deal, the only thing to note is that you do need at least 100 in fleet the same as you do for a Zealot.
That Tengu fit rocks, the tank is awesome…

Maybe provibloc should ditch Railrohks and adapt Baltec & Fyf fleet doctrine, if they want to survive.

Baltec relies heavily on numbers, which the Provibloc does not have.

Definately, unlike initiative, who all they ever did was pretty much blops pve ships and mining barges, we are getting some real fights. It’s crazy, its fun… I’m loving it. I might be getting my butt kicked on the provi side, but i’ll tell you I haven’t been playing eve as much as I have been now. It’s great content. Welcome back to Catch AAA

A grave mistake, that pretty much sums up CVA FC’s. I am very happy to AAA back in catch and look forward to a long and fun fall/winter with them. G/F

Yes, the fail-cyno cost us the fight before it began. It turned what could have been a close fight (although still probable defeat) into a welp. I just cannot begin to understand why we did that. Then once the engagement began targets were being called that were beyond lock-range for much of what was left of the fleet.
Props to Stainwagon and BL for the fight however. Confirming provi-bloc still sucks at sov-war.

Thing is cfc are a combination of people who like the game on externally easy. Lets join this blob as they have mass numbers o er any other entity. It’s a risk a worse way of playing eve. Only people who benifit really from cfc being around is some of the leadership hoarding rmt/isk.

Every one else either fights against them or against each other as they play the game at the end if the day for challenge and betterment and ultimately fun. Look for good fights.
This is the pivotal difference. Cfc does not stand for fun and betterment, they stand for self benifit of income and mass blobbing.

Unfortunate there’s far more incompitant “I want every thing on easy mode” people in eve these days than there is those who wish to wield their own fates.

Examples all those who used to give direction and interest in the game leave the content blocks and go to retirement easy mode blocks like PL & cfc.

WELL because u need nerves of still to fight CFC even u have all the south and west and lets say u will match cfc numbers u will be like 3-4000 people in one sistem fighting and it will be laggy as hell, and after lets 1-2-3 weeks of heavy lag people will get tired from lag from shooting structure and thay will go back home , and the rest of eve its not BFF like CFC

CFC is taking Querious? Could have sworn it was Black Legion and Solar that took Querious. And there isn’t much “holding on” NC. can do since they didn’t show up for a single timer.

False narrative. And it looks like Init and Wallbangers are scooping chunks as well. CFC never wanted Queerious.

Well, this is turning into an enjoyable campaign. Stainwagon aren’t having it all their own way.
DD and -A- received a bloody nose on Monday evening at the hands of an inferior provi fleet. The sudden arrival of PL in system cut that fight short, and both sides withdrew. Skirmishing continues in ERVK and other systems.
