The yearly migration down to Delve has begun. It is a little later this year than normal. The whole thing in Fountain slowed things down. But it is a little earlier than some predicted. No waiting for the jump bridge network to get set up.
Almost exactly 13 months ago we were headed back from Delve, having helped TEST take it and Querious. Now we are inbound again to take the region from TEST.
TEST has actually abandoned the region, so it is sitting there waiting for somebody to knock it over. Fweddit has been in and has knocked off a couple of systems on the border with Fountain, while the Pasta Syndicate has a constellation in the middle of things.
I am not sure how long that will last. There are only six pilots currently in their alliance and the CFC plan for Delve is to conquer it all for the Greater Western Co-Prosperity Sphere, of which I wrote a little while back. Wide open spaces for the CFC rental empire.
Meanwhile, I am starting to feel like an old hand. The convoy made it out to our traditional staging system at 1DH-SX.
And upon docking I found all the items I left behind when we returned home last time around. Bits and pieces for a shield tanked, missile firing fleet doctrine. Drake fleet was big last year. And the Rifter that I used to fly on the gate camp in F2OY-X.
This time around the outlook is not as exciting. No titanic battles are in the immediate future. Just a clean up of TEST’s former space holdings in Delve.
We shall see how that progresses.
Wilhelm Arcturus, he’s played internet spaceship related games since the early days of MegaWars III, and expects to get the hang of things any day now. He reports on EVE from an individual capsuleer’s point of view at TAGN.
The only future titanic battles will come from within the cfc fighting itself.
that pocket is owned by pizza. its their renting alliance and it wont be going anywhere.
Well, when someone moves in, they’re in for a sweet awoxing and 23/7 cloaking surprise.
Hey DD, you’ll not gonna laugh long. Ncdot and nulli are next, just sayin’
the only renting space with 23/7 blops-protection or how are they going to hold that?
Hey and give some credit to the journalist here: Who could’ve guessed that Pasta Syndicate (which consists of Pizza-Jugend, Spaghetti Holding, Ravioli enterprises, Macaroni industries, and Tortelloni mercenaries) is a Pizza renting alliance? Not me.
its really sekrit.
Lacco hates pasta,true story!!!!!!!!!!
Is Lacco w. Pizza now? Fuck he’s a good cook.
newest/oldest cfc plan… Need PvP go to renter space clear out the bums, fail bad gankers. If all else fails burn jita or gank miners as needed. Post in local its time to skill your self.
No; roll alt -> put alt into corp with other CFC alts -> farm own renters -> profit.
Simple plan, best plan.
To me it looks like CFC is really over extending them self. Delve is a very very long way from CFC home space and it would be very very easy to attack once CFC moves into delve.. just saying. The only reason CFC has been able to protect them self in the past are their fortress they built in the north. Being this spread out will make CFC weak and will make it much more easy to pick off the lesser alliances in CFC like FA, SMA & LAWN etc. To me it looks like CFC is being greedy and taking a huge risk. Lets see how it plays out.
You sure a high sec nub that doesn’t know how 0.0 work… 😛
Yes my years in 0.0 makes me a nub and i don’t know how 0.0 work. v0v
You sir are in denial! Or you have never actually been in a big fleet with tidi and jump bridges.
Takes 3 timers to take a station system. That’s about a week. Goons will get there in time.
What aboout multiple stations on multiple fronts? Can’t save them all.
They definitely can, it happens all the time, since the attackers can only hit one target at a time.
I did say multiple fronts, implying more than 1 attacker.
If people went at goons from the North and the South they would be in trouble (for example, when 401K and BL went after Tribute with TEST in the south, but due to BL’s mercenary nature Goons were able to pay them a fortune to back off)
Exactly my point.
sure we can. but sounds like more of a challenge for you than us. so bring it on.
Aight, let me pack my high sec shit gear together and I’ll own you all with my hulks!
Because no one keeps jump clones and ships all over CFC space, that would be too easy.
And if the timers were within the 24 hour JC period? With multiple attackers like I was implying.
hence the Jb network systems. you can cross empires in just a few minutes. Besides delve would be a very good place for renting space.
JB network systems do not magically bridge you from one side of Eve to the other. One battleship would take more than 45 minutes to cross from Delve to Vale of the Silent. A fleet of battleships would take much longer in Tidi.
Moving from Delve NPC space with a battleship fleet up to VFK with jb’s would take for ever.
only about 30 minutes
And they can use tidi to their advantage, making the difference mere minutes.
So you are saying in 10% tidi it takes you 30 minutes? BS
More like 3 fucking hours. I remember doing 10 stargate jumps with 10% tidi, took me an hour.
sure moving a fleet from vfk to delve would take some time. but if all you idiots think that goons and the rest of the cfc moved all their stuff back to dek you really should stop playing eve.
there is a place called fountain and cfc just took it over. oh yeah most of us, well all of us, just left our stuff there. so we can see you down in delve whenever you feel like getting stomped again.
It’s a valid point about the JB network. But when you are in 10% tidi jb’s don’t mean shit. When you are moving tow full mega fleets there is tidi. So the network is gimped.
Being CFC, I agree with this. The only possible positive here is using our renters as meatshields to any possible attacks/invasions.
You will have empty renter space. Renters dont want to be meat shields.
,an renters will just stay docked or find other renting space.
cfc’s job is to protect the renters and let them carebear it up lol stupid grunt
Why does any one think Goons and CFC want Delve atm? as anything been said or leaked indicating that?
Delvegrind 2013: Standing Orders
This is a brief but necessary campaign; Delve is vacant but needs to be ground. For the past week, GSF SBUs have been online in every major station system in the region, and Vee, Mynas and the crew are now going to dick the region before it starts to molder. Done properly, this will be done with in 1-2 weeks. N3 has forces in 49- in Querious to make life a little more interesting but we don’t expect any ‘native’ opposition.
Delve will mostly be rented out for the entire CFC to profit from via [PBLRD] so everyone is expected to attend the grind if they hope to enjoy the proceeds.
Baltecfleet, Lokifleet, Harpyfleet and Siegefleet ships to 1DH.
Look for posted ops and broadcasts; catch a convoy from 4-EP if you haven’t already.
Thank you sir. Does seem like a poor move on CFC part then. But hopefully they know more then i do 😛
They sure do, since you had to ask for confirmation while the Martini said it himself in the news :p
Let the trillions of RMT ISK flow in. Not only does goons want all the prime moons, plus rental income, they also know that the winter iteration brings them yet another Xmas gift: null sec T2 manufacturing buffs.
There is a reason that CCP does not distribute the names of chars caught RMT’ing, and it is not some so-called privacy concerns they hide behind.
Evidence or GTFO, there probably is RMT going on, but I’m not going to throw around hollow assertions without evidence.
CCP would know, its not like I can meet a guy in a dark ally and get a R64 moon with my hit of crack to stick on my back pocket. Do you know what I mean. Its easy to trace assets and isk moving around in this game. Half a million subs with 10 alts each, that only 50 000 people to worry about.
I know what you mean pal. If I do something small time like buy 10bill isk off a guy I get banned like right away. Somehow they know right away. But if I buy sell trade moons and trillions of isk, somehow they cant find my right? Because that makes sense right?
I couldn’t care less if people can make some money out of the game. Anyone with money can buy trillions of ISK, why do I care who they got it from?
Hi Dinsdale Pirannha
He is a witch! I have no proof but it makes me feel better.
I pay your moms nightly visits with RMT money.
You know, if you are going to pretend to be the failed lawyer, you might want to come up with some jibe that does not sound like it came from the mind of a 13 year old.
Lol, cry harder.
yes you are full of spies aka loud mouiths…
BORING. Who gives a fuck about Goons (a.k.a BOB) and their dull blob warfare?
Not really, Goons are actually worse than BOB, they might be like BOB but then you have to add all the scamming and ganking..
Apparently all of you, and all the authors who keep obsessing. Why not make an article about another coalition for once? I mean, we appreciate the flattering attention, but come on.
you do since you read this article and butthurt posted on it.
Says a guy who has enjoyed being part of the CFC location services, probably on multiple occasions.
Should we call them now BoBoons?
GoB?
I still like the no-imagination BOB 2.0
I’m just gonna leave my stuff in Delve after this years’ conquering
tl;dr we’ve won EVE.
Now to start doing a couple of days worth of grinding so we can get that sweet rich renter isk. N3, you’re next buddy.
Yes…please conquer our space. I honnestly think you guys could do it. Conquer ALL of N3 space and show CCP (and the rest of the gaming world) how EVE Online has become such a stupid game! I honnestly wish it! And dont worry, we will give you good fights!!
Please!!! Come at us!! We want it!!
Yeah, honestly I think Goonswarm would start to crumble if they continue their never ending growth and keep giving away space to their coalition and pets… Sooner or later they would either split up into two coalitions that would face eachother or create an all-consuming entity that would big alliances prevent from forming since all the corps will want to be part of that Coalition that controlls 90% of player owned space.
I could honestly see how CCP would entirely change sovereign mechanics in order to make “owning ALL the space” unattractive in order to prevent goons from keeping newbies away.
Has anyone ever mentioned to you that when you start out saying honestly with any statement, it generally means you are full of shit
truth stuck a nerve who’d thunk
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/honestly
Honestly, I don’t know mate. It honestly doesn’t seem so… honestly.
I question if the above is a CFC member. None of us with brains want any more space. It’d be pointless, gaining us nothing, and a pain in the butt to deal with. That’s not fun, nor profitable.
But whatever, evil CFC comin, hide yo kids. If it makes content, I’ll go along with the narrative.
It’s fairly easy not to want space when you have no ability to keep it.
if goons take delve nobody will stop them but its also a mistake bec they have problem with controling the fountain region and shet so for the goons “guys dont take what u cant control”
What problem with controlling fountain?
I left most of my combat stuff in 4EP, because I knew we would be back. Now I all need is to clone jump, 1-2 carrier jumps and i am good to go.
Good article. Who the fuck is PASTA syndicate?
Must be some kind of a new superpower.
Man, I remember blapping -A- Lokis at the 1dh undock.
I hope it will be just as fun.
Other than that…
–
I am a CFC grunt.
Shooting structures and listening to boats stories gives me an errection.
Sounds like you have problems.
On other note, in this title picture… the fuck is a providence doing in a fight with two titans? And where are the aeon/nyx logis bros in this fight? And what kind of shit setup is that? Seems like the Leviathan is only supported by a Rokh and some other shit subcaps. Also: Is that a single pheonix? That shit won’t even hit a quadrupple-webbed rokh if all the forces of the universe tried to support it. Seriously guys!
