Goons massive blob of Megas and zealots got ripped to shreds by N3s much smaller prophecy fleet. No doubt a big surprise to the CFC propaganda eating grunts, but only to be expected from the N3 grunts perspective.

Dude if you think that’s a massive blob you need to spend more time playing Eve. It was one and half fleets.

seeing as how they put 3 fleets in the field and had 2 more full ones standing by for the last “blob” fight … no that wasn’t a blob that was a fleet and a half, but hey if you have to call it a blob to feel significant in this war you go right ahead.

That report shows CFC outnumbered by N3 there as well.

Personally I don’t care, they had a good fleet and fought a good fight; winning the day.

It’s just the window lickers who get overly excited by the numbers.

Oh yeah. 802 CFC vs 690 N3 (respectively 700 with fixed unassigned). CFC was clearly outnumbered.

Maybe gewns should introduce a new doctrine to counter these sentry setups.

I call mine “kamikaze phoons” equipped with following equipments
    -Smartbombs
    -Mwd
    -Ecm burst
-Balance between armor tank & speed boost.

Send 20 guys equipped with same SB dmg (+ resists) to pwn them sentry drone & cause panic! xD

    Just my thought

    1. Drkydrky

Oh and why not throw in a MJD? So you can jump right inside the hostile blob.

The alternative involves gewns continuing to welp their baltec fleet using same tactic over & over again.

Ah brings back the memories of the Tribute war.

there just has to be one guy who is 100km away from the sentry blob, all discophoons warp from offgrid to that guy and then mjd directly into the sentries…gogogo discoparty^^ or maybe use geddons with 1 or 2 energy vampires for smartbomb cap (amar BS on IV = 35km range on those)

        July 17, 2013 at 1:31 pm Reply
    2. mr nobody

the same tactic used to counter the goon bomber fleets would work against what you are talking about (normally reffered to as a discophoon)

Any bs getting close enough to smart bomb will get neuted to nothing in very short time. The dominix dont blob up the spread out, spread over an area of 40 – 70 k

Alternatively, 20 ECM burst-SB scorp gang can really mess up blobs’s targeting system.

A pilot with lvl 5 cald bs can fit a ecm burst module with 48km diameter range (optimal + fallout). So having at least 5 pilots in middle of enemy blob is nearly same as a supercarrier doing a perma remote ecm Burst. 20 pilots = 4 supercarrier perma remote ECM

In addition, they can fit Smartbombs (explosive dmg) to harass drones and other ships.

        Possible midslot:
        -MWD
        -ECM burst
        -Cap booster
        -Cap booster
        -Invul
        -Invul
        -Extender
        -Extender

Would be quiet interesting if someone decided to adapt this doctrine.

for the sake of EvE online, no.. for the sake of our children, for the entire human race and for our future, for everything we have accomplished in the last 4-5k years, you both should go swim in a gasoline pool and set fire to yourself; according to darwinian evolution this planet, this reality is not made for you cause only total morons would pay to play this game the way you play it. No one is enojoying it.. and if your name is ‘no one’ you should move to a different galaxy. 30k vs 36k..cmon guys…cmon….

CFC has not given 1 CTA yet at this point, all fleets fill with normal pings 😛

I have alot of fun in Eve right now, and i hope this war will continue for quite some time.
You win some and you lose some, dont forget that CFC havent fought a war in ages !
And in all previous wars we always outnumberd our enemy’s with at least 2 -1 or even 5 -1
This war is the 1st time we get out numberd ^^

And are we doing that bad ?
    Honestly ?
I have a friend in NC. and he was convinced that CFC would not even be able to set 1 step into Fountain.
He said CFC would be forced back all the way to VFK.
I told him it would be hard for us, but so far we are winning…….
Spinn it around with blueballs and CFC bigger numbers then the rest of Eve etc etc fill in your shit.

But Dotlan does not lie like we do.
It shows progress not a march to Mittanigrad VFK.

Only because N3/Test cant get their members in fleet.. They’re much bigger than all the CFC alliances combined, too bad their ratting carriers don’t know how to x up for defense..

That being said, I hope TEST keeps defending.. I love grinding structures, but it get’s even better if I get to pop an enemy fleet every once in a while.. :)

30+ combined cfc although retarded and fighting for mittens RL pocket money, as a combined single blob of sheep it’s very difficult to fight even when those fighting you have pop prowess.
N3/tests biggest problem is they have similar numbers on paper to cfc, but they are split, not on the same page for much of the time, got their own agendas.
          1. PL have rarely shown face and will likely join the war more wholeheartedly when the tourneys over.
          2. 401k are not hitting cfc JBs and Sov in north ATM so giving goon blob a rest bite.
          3. Cfc has infact bought more people than are in N3/test anyway.
Bought BL cuz Elo likes cum guzzling cock more than fighting to rid cancer of eve. Whip my slaves also been bought with the usual near empty goon promises so are also slaving away like good little pets.

Pffff yeah it’s only N3/Test, all them other coalitions/alliances that show up and station camp b-d, gate camp, hot drop and so on… we don’t count those… no.

            July 17, 2013 at 11:09 am
          2. Harry

            1. Yeah, joining a war as soon as their side starts losing, that really sounds like PL. They won’t come unless there’s caps to hotdrop.

            2. Who? Oh, those 10 guys camping B-D. Yeah, they’re making a real difference.. As if Razor couldn’t just ‘oops’ them if they’d start hitting Northern infrastructure

            3. CFC is terrible, but you can’t accuse them of mistreating each other when it comes to spoils of war. Empty promises? More like land and titles (and R64’s) for alliances that manage to put bodies into fleets

Keep sperging, TEST is going down.. 9-V was the killing blow

          3. Guy

Interestingly enough, the little 10 man frigate camps by BL caused enough trouble that they got told by CFC diplos to stop doing it. I think the tally was 100 billion before 401k took over the camp. They do more damage than you’d think.

You’re right on the main point, though. TEST is obviously in a pretty terrible spot right now.

Seriously, to have an admitted bias is one thing. To completely ignore a rather important story and post another minor story instead to divert attention is another. Had the battle in 9-V gone the other way I’m sure it would be plastered all over the front page here.
