There has been a radial menu forever, i dont understand why people think the new version will be used when the old one wasnt.

I'm all for anything that takes away from the "spreadsheets in space" feel

    Looks pretty well designed.

Looks like it is finally getting some useful features instead of being just a fancy right-click menu, but at any given time my EVE screen is filled with objects that will unhelpfully bring up the radial menu when I try to spin my view. Isn't that why many people just disable it?

Like Jonny Pew Pew, but is anyone going to mention the fact that we've had a radial menu for years now? All this really is to me is a graphical update and a reorganization of the menu. Now I have to relearn all of that "muscle memory" since they've moved the icons.

Also, keyboard shortcuts > radial menu > right-click menu

we used to. not sure if its still in the game though…if i think about it, it might actually have been some time now since i last saw it….so it probably got removed at some time. was suprised to hear the jukebox was removed as well…well meh, who uses rightclick menues anyways? and as we all know, there is no sound in space.

no, it was never removed, you just have the hold the left mouse button down and it appears.

Theres also an option to bind it to middle click, which is what I do.

Been using it on the test server for the last two days. And when I went on Tranquility I did actually miss it and went back to Sisi, since it was quite convenient to use. So I'm liking the radial menu, but it does seem quite out of place with the rest of the UI design wise. Can't wait for that to get overhauled completely, like with no trace of the current UI which as it stands compares to what you might imagine Oprah looks like in the morning with no makeup.

do you get a radial menu if you right-click an entry in the overview?
