wow, like really? do you even realize what the purpose of us getting 2 candidates onto CSM was? not to propose or advocate changes, but to intervene should a low/null candidate propose a popular idea that would have severe and often unforeseen effects on wormholes, their mechanics, and their livability.

if anything, the only proposals we would have even regarding k-space would be a balance to the local/cloak debate, and a discussion on null's ridiculus power projection powers.

2 wormhole dwellers, a couple random weirdos, the douchebag North, 4 good nullsec candidates. Looks like the few goodones will have a lot to do. Did not tthink we would end up with a CSM where the serious and competent people with relevant experience from the game would be in minority. Let's hope the wormholers and hisec people don't get to ruin to much and that the CSM and CCP see the true nature of the selfrighteous backstabbing liar from Gents before it's to late.

Wormhole dwellers primary focus for getting people onto the CSM has nothing to do with even considering your shitty cheap null-space, its to keep your grubby hands off our land, our mechanics, adn our way fo life, since half the shit last years proposed nullsec candidates wanted to do was to turn WH's into an extension of k-space. theya re there as a preventative measure, nto some stupid "hidden agenda" against the most undesirbale part of k-space in EVE.

Seem rather bad. Only Trebor is know as candidate that will advocate nerfing power projection.

Wormhollers don’t give a shit about it because they don’t have to deal with it, so that removers Chica and Argent from being of any use on this issue.

Mynna openly wrote against nefing power projection, and PL fags alike Sort Fagon an Sala Cameron will undoubtedly lobby hard against it just as Seleene and Elise did.

PGL is mostly inactive anyway so his opinion is irrelevant (why was he even running for CSM?). Mangala is high sec FC so likely won't give a shit about power projection too.

Mike, Ali and Korvin? IDK, I never heard them speak or write on the issue so I don think they care about it.

And as I’m watching fanfest I did not hear from any developer a hint about power projection needing some attention.

So TL:DR is projecting capital blobs all across EVE in minutes will not only continue but become even worse and CCP will do absolutely nothing to deal with it.

    1. #YOLO

Mangala doesn't give a shit about anything. He openly said he wants "to keep CCP on the path they are on" and he wants to get a free trip to Iceland.

      At least he was honest.

As for the path thing, thats true as the ccp we have now – in my opinion and how it affects my playstyle – are doing good things, so why let them detour off that.

wait so ur saying capitals and super capitals need to be nerfed again go back to ur hole titans and supers are fine the way they are most alliances have them now most small non high secc alliances have more then one titan and multiple supers if they get nerfed any further they will be useless and there will be no point having them CCP may as well remove them from the game titans are only useful for ether bridging or DD caps nothing else and supers are about the same the only people who are bitching about this is the people who's alliances and or corporations can't afford them have a cry it's ur fault for being in a fail alliance

    3. expanded space

I was sad to make the same conclusion from fanfest, space is still way too small because fleets can still be projected around the universe in no-time.
For those who think it is about capital nerfing (because some own capitals already or not). That is not the issue, It is about the easy force projection due to the big jump distances. Which does not only make it easy to defend vaste (empty) territoriums but also keeps a hold on other engagements (knowing there is some blob waiting to drop on it)

      April 28, 2013 at 5:33 pm Reply
      1. EXE

With lower force projection you would get less fights. Who would bother doing 20 jumps or 3-4 cynos to get to a possible fight when it's likely over by the time you get there? Thanks to reasonable range on caps more people can get in on the fighting through titanbridging or good old cap drops. It's clear CCP want to keep fleets highly mobile, why else would they have brought Black Ops up in line with titan range instead of the other way around. Stop crying about force projection and get a capfleet of your own instead of whining about other peoples toys.

exacty, the only reason alliances even have as much unopposed space as they do si that they can crush anyone who enters in a few horus notice with a massive fleet, because titans and bridges, its ridiculous.

            April 29, 2013 at 5:21 am
          2. Alliance size should be limited to maybe 2500.

Considering the amount of bitching, trolling and infighting from null corps it wouldnt take long for the separated alliances to nuke each other.

Not complaining about your ( ,mine and others) precious e-peen, just complaining that it takes less then a quarter of the jumps/time to cover the univers with jump drives compared to stargates.
Some benefit for jump drives is great, 80% is ridiculous.
Less mobility either means less blues, or more strategic planning/logistics for ship locations.

ps. 20 jumps is a walk in the park roaming in lowsec, sounds more like some people out there got lazy.

          1. snorkle25

I am not a fan of the Titan bridge however, you overestimating the advantage of jump capable ships. Yes my carrier can instantly jump from deep curse to derelik but I have to do twice the gate trips you normally would just to position cyno's and ozone. It gets even more complicated if you don't have a station or need to put up a temporary POS.

On the other hand, Titan bridging could use a nerf. If you have to go 20-30 jumps to find a fight it just means you have too many blues. Try leaving that space empty and unclaimed. Then you will have lots of targets move in closer to home.

            April 29, 2013 at 9:00 pm
          2. EXE

Which is exactly why range shouldn't be nerfed. Bridges and good jumprange is needed so that you can reach out to hostile areas or help defend friends fast, while still being able to have a reasonably well protected home area for R&R. You want a minimum of 15 minutes gate travel from hostile entry points to your capital so you have a decent chance to greet intruders properly and to get intel on inbound trouble early enough for people in PvE ships to get safe or change to a PvP ship. All this empty unused space people talk about is just a myth. It is used, usually for many things. If it's not used for moon mining, PI, ratting, mining or as a travel path (cynogen or JB) then it's usually part of a buffer zone towards hostile groups to keep them further away from important places. Not occupied 23/7 is not the same as not used.
