Last weekend, the Gallente Militia managed to secure the warzone completely after taking the last standing system (Ladistier).

Fireworks were seen after capturing the last hub, and for a few hours, their victory was absolute as they held control over each and every one of the 101 systems. The feat is no trivial task, and CCP Fozzie commented on his Twitter that free high fives would be granted at the Fanfest.

And while the Caldari quickly got back to work and retook Okagaiken, which is not surprising, it is perhaps more curious to learn that Ev0ke (who, as you might remember, sold their sovereignty to the CFC for 250 billions, moved to Syndicate/Outer Ring and has been bleeding members and corps as of lately) has been backing them up.

Ev0ke’s participation is not completely clear, though. It is to be defined whether they will stay for long, or if they are intending to play it like Nulli Secunda.

What seems to be clear is that perhaps they threw themselves into this before having mastered the basics of Factional Warfare. There have been reports of Ev0ke pilots hauling ships to Melmaniel, only to join the militia the next day…and finding themselves logically unable to dock in the Gallente stations there.

ev0ke.intel: totaly new thingy for our peeps
ev0ke.intel: most of them have hard to learn =D

Ev0ke is now down to 11 corps (from 22 corps in September) and already counts with less than 800 pilots. Life in Syndicate and the Outer Ring has taken its toll on Ev0ke’s ranks and who knows if this change will be for good. Whatever ISK they can make from it will be, of course.

I don't think that was a question. I think it was a pointless statement. Much like this one. Did I blow your mind?

Nulli came into FW with 2,000 members, its top leadership completely intact, its membership base almost entirely intact, higher morale, and a clear vision of "make money now so you're ready for a return to 0.0 prominence in a month". All of this is in direct contrast to Ev0ke's attempt. I'm not sure Ev0ke will survive this.

Well done Gallente Militia. You guys always brought fun fights when we came rolling in from syndicate. I can't wait to see how Evokes introduction to Caldari will play out.

  7. I was there when this was the other way around and the Caldari had curb-stomped the Gallente in a very similar fashion. This has been a long time coming, props to Gallente.

Was that the time when draketrain draek-raepd first the other militias and then his own because there wasn't enough challenge with the others? Props to Lacco for that feat

Congrats to Gallente Militia. Unique or rare events like these are why I love EVE.

As for Evoke… I had respect for them once. After they sold out to the goons and then kept acting like little ladies in Syndicate (which happens to be my home) I lost almost of it. Now I respect some of their pilots who have proven that they deserve it, but the alliance has some serious baggage that needs to be spaced and guided into the nearest star.

This is better than what most of us did – join HBC or CFC. Congratulations to the guys who have fun and are willing to stick it out.

I do Eve when I can. Pretty busy, but evoke HAS had some trouble adapting to FW, often finding themselves over shipped and losing the plex fight. But they sure do bring the blob, man. 40 zealots…really?! Don't know how good their logi is, but we've been having to resort to jungle tactics, moving behind them and wasting their time chasing frigs. It's hard to run the defensive now against such a close knitt force. It has only made the Squid plex alts more brave. We shall see if we finally put that 1hour cyno to use. Very exciting.
