Roughly two months after the plans of Ev0ke to transfer all their sov in Vale of the Silent to Goonswarm federation for the hefty sum of 250 billion ISK, things are not looking sweet for the German-speaking alliance.

With no major allies, no clear objectives for the immediate future and living in NPC space, the bleeding of corps and members keeps on: down to less than 1.400 members and 16 corps, and biding their time between Outer Ring and Syndicate (not the classiest neighbourhoods out there, to say the least), their fate now seems more uncertain than ever.

According to those Ev0ke pilots that talked to us, most pilots from Ewoks (training alliance for Ev0ke) left the area as well, and the core of the alliance is trying to retain active PvPers from the entities packing their things and looking for greener pastures. While there are claims of members being more or less satisfied with the current situation around Syndicate, we wonder whether the status quo will affect their possibilities of bringing in new blood, which every alliance with ambition eventually needs.

In between claims of being sick of sov structure grinding (although removing POSes and other structures from local residents was the first thing they did), they lost some “key” Fleet commanders (like Chronos or Raist Varis), and the efforts to fill the gaps have not always been successful.

Not a pretty sight for them

Judging by Eve-kill stats, their killboard efficiency has also gone down the drain, barely over 50% since they retreated from Vale. Probably because they are are currently enjoying the kind attentions of Syndicate local residents, including by the way a Goon detachment.

We wonder if Ev0ke will rise once again from this “back to basics” status they are enduring today. It is to be seen if they will be able to retain a relevant number of pilots and corporations to, in due time, try to conquer a piece of space to call their own.

Ev0ke side of the story

After approaching our Ev0ke friends, we got their version of the current situation:

We moved to syndicate to get rid of the “sov-grinding-structure-shooting-F1-drone-no-fight-without-main-fc” shit. Most of Corps agreed, except Cataclysm Enterprises and some smaler corps, mostly ewoks origin. We had some bad times as most of us were not able to command a fleet – but they tried – and mostly hardly failed Others didn’t had the balls to command, as you were told to be an idiot if you loose fights So the first weeks were very boring in Syndicate.

Only some “We-don’t-have-balls” Gatecamps were made and we had some few smallscale stuf – beside the f1-drone stuff to remove structures in our nearby systems. But then there was Goonswarm… With a “single squad” like they said… Of Course we have intel from theire forums yelling at People “This is a call to everyone in the CFC to bring your people to FD- to shot ev0ke” – We were stuck at the station while Triage-Carrier and HIC’s camping us with just 4 accounts and we are absolutly unable to do something against them. They docked everytime again and we couldn’t get them down if they don’t fell asleep.

The GIS (Gemeinschaft Interstellarer Söldner) moved from FD- back to Oulley in low-sec to be able to fight, but some corps felt like they are backstabbing us – so they got mad and left. The Goons @EveGer Forums telling “Ev0ke is disbanding” and “We are doin the last shot to kill Ev0ke” has done some more to our unexpirienced pilots. So currently we have lost some good pilots.

Beside Chronos and Raist Varis – our former main fc’s – we didn’t lost any person we will miss in the future. Of course you need every pilot you can get to fight a bunch of goons, but currently every player still in Ev0ke likes the situation we have and most of them will stay with us, at least the next months.

Evoke went from provoke to ejoke faster than 3.5 seconds.
They are irrelivant now, almost forgot their name, and theres no place in 0.0 for retarded leadership that sells their space for a pittiful 250bill,that was most entertaining. Sold their souls and honour for such a small amount to goontards. The evoke leadership are the ones to blame, not its members. leadership couldn't hack it,couldn't cope with a challange and bottled it. Mark of bad leadership should not blemish the once decent alliance members. I only hope they disband and renew themselves to get wash away the patheticness of their last days in vale, cowardly decisions and the dishonour their leadership has brought upon their members.

evoke never really defined themselves in my view, i always saw it as The German alliance which has the people and the will to do something they just don't know what it rly is and what they rly stand for. Its a healthy way i suppose coz they just want to play the game and thats it, but alliances as chaotic as this without the much needed principles and general policy (that one could rely upon) will not survive and eventually fail cascade (i always thought) and it may be happening now, however if it isn't, it is my bet that they will unless by some miracle they will find a way to reinvent themselves (like test did and the nulli is trying to do), but hey thats just my opinion (and im a guy who stays unsubbed most of the time)

I always saw them as my German brother alliance TBH.

No matter if it was Cry Havoc Evoke spanking Goons and evicting them out of Cloud Ring or it was us killing Max2 NC coming down the D2 Pipeline, then when CH disbanded and half of us went to NCDOT and Evoke kept the brother Bond going, we always had a launguage barrier but they were always like a Nulli or BL. Always down for a fight, always ready to brawl no matter the odds.

Hell I still have a Picture of the first Modern Drake Blob we ran as a joke.

200 Evoke 150 CH 200 NCDOT 100 Dead Terrorists all in Drakes in 08 when everyone thought they were garbage, whooping the NC and getting to fight Cloud ring Goons.

They were the first and lasting German PVPers who basically would have been CH, or NCDOT had it not been language, they were the Raiden to our White Noise IMO. But always active no matter if it was 10 man Mach gate ganks, or 85 HellCat fights, they really were in the game for killing ships.

I left Ev0ke 6 months ago after the greatest 2 years I had in the game.
Awesome fleets, extraordinary FCs, dedicated core members and smart diplomatic decisions shaped them into a small yet powerful force not bound to the big blocks…well, until their leadership suffered a lobotomy or whatever and everyone fell into a coma and didn't do anything for almost a year except selling out to the Goons.

They mostly ignored the struggle of their long-time friends NCdot next door and Ev0ke leadership just didn't really push the alliance into a direction. It all went down since Vale. Members who questioned the situation were silenced until lots of skilled pilots and FCs simply left.
They should've just picked a side and supported their friends.

So, yeah just close it down with some dignity already and start over with smaller ambitions. It's not like it hasn't happened before.

TBH just like when Elise Randolph, Carbon Fury, Mistress Suffering, Lord Mummbi and our other great leaders in Cry Havoc were so smart in retiring while we were on top and always being known for a 450 man alliance with 1/8th our population Supers [Highest in Eve`s history] and being known for being a wrecking crew, they saved our Alliance from the slow wither and die, become a husk stage.

They kept our name intact and we literally were killing 45 Majesta NC caps in 20 Minutes one day and disbanding another. They had realized the glue of the Alli would be leaving soon, and instead of becoming like a Michael Jordan or old Boxer who comes out of retirement and gets creamed, they decided to form 1 major Corp in Habit under Elise Randolph and take 25 Supers, Invicta stuck with there 10 Supers and the rest of us NCDOT, I hope Evoke does the right thing and retires before they are`nt even known for there fabulous exploits.

Eve glory dies fast, look at PL, one day they are literrally looked at as god in Eve and 1 year later I come back from Army and they are being called "Blobbers" and "talentless" I was shocked.

Moral is, please Retire the great name you guys are a part of for it`s sake and for all the founders. They gave us a choice if anyone wanted CH, but we knew it would be selfish to become a shell, selfishly wear the name and lose even 50% of our power and become a joke. No one including me wanted to go, but we didnt want to be a group like a Atlas, who was highly praised then a joke or BoB who became IT and became one etc etc…..Hard to let go but to keep the name pure you have to do it if you ever really loved it, nothing lasts forever especially Eve and CH was my best and greatest love ever in Eve and because that, I had to let her go….. I took enough pride in the fact that right after we split PL became the single toughest force in Eve, NCDOT became a force only second to PL tied with Raiden and all of it was from 500 men who split 3 ways. Eve has never seen such a unique force in the history of its existence that has effected so much for such a small group.

Now if Habit, Invicta, ENH, Total Meyhem, SHADE and the same badasses were to come together properly and revive a 500 man wrecking crew with 50 Titans now and 150+ Supers I`d be game, we could engage with forces like the CFC and it would be similiar numbers as to what we had then in proportions, but for us small 500 man badass Alli`s I think our best days are past, we owned 25 Tech moons as a Tiny Alliance with our best buddies Evoke, I think those days are gone, we now are in the age of the Super Block until CCP forces some sort of change.

Great Alliances like these I dont think can exists anymore, its kind of like the old Football Dynasty`s before free agency, when teams could get a allstar lineup of the best players in the league and keep them 6-8 years before having to trade them and pay them ridiculous amounts, we had so many allstars, it was never going to last looking back. Please Evoke leave with your head held high, you made 1 very stupid choice IMO and selling, but dont have to be defined by it, dont fade away now as that being your last act in Eve and become a Husk.

If you love it let it go :)

That's true, ewoke was great once. But withdrawing their support from NCDOT for something as ridiculous as otec (the technetium cartel) was a damned move. They should have made CFC pay dearly for every tech moons and system, and they should have done what they know best: pew-vew-pew. But technetium isk had made them slow, lazy, and fat (fleet numbers were dropping as troops were carebearing with blingy ships). So they sold their moons to goons (I think that some corps didn't, though, but they must have lost those moons by now), moved away and diminished….. too bad for the game.

Isto tako NC. i Nulli nisu čisti u svemu tome. Vince i Progod su mogo držait kontrolu nad svojim teritoriem praktički neogranićeno dugo zbog dominacije u australskoj vremenskoj zoni, ali su jednog dana bez objašnjenja odlučili predati taj teritorij CFC bez borbe. Ja mislim da postoji neka tajina nagodba između CFC, PL, Vince i Progod da ako predaju NC. teritorij CFC-u zauzvrat mogu dobuti većinu teritorija -A- i njihovih saveznika, plus teritorij Solar-a i njihovih saeznika, plus NAP sa HBC. Na taj naćin Goon-si dobivaju tech i prostor za sebe i još dodatne ljubimce nižeg ranka kontrolirane indirektno preko PL i Test.

  18. Former Ev0ke Member

Not too long ago, Ev0ke was one of the most powerful EU-TZ Alliances. I do remeber one afternoon where they got one full Tengu fleet, a 50-men tier3 fleet plus caps and supers on standby. And now, maybe 3 or 4 months later, the alliance is on the verge of collapse, so what happened?

    Basically, three things:

First one was the "struggle" within the leadership in August. The Alliance "Leader" TSS1 and his "leading circle" from the Evoke. corp didn't like how things were evolving within the alliance. Rumor has it that those "Leaders" feared the increasing dependency on the Main FC's from CE. Also the atmosphere between "Leadership" and these FC's got worse. So at some point TSS1 decided to kick them out and replace them with new Main FC's, one from Evoke. Corp (who in my POV is not a really good FC) and another one from GIS (who at least had some good potential IMHO to get things going again). The loss of the Main FC's was a huge loss for Ev0ke ofc, but it was still looking no so bad. There were still fights going on against Solar and co. and people joined fleets.

The second decision was more devastating: The decision to go to Syndicate and sell all their Techmoons. Ev0ke went to Syndicate with no objectives, into an area with no enemies, or atleast no enemies that wanted to fight. They sold their Space and Moons for a really low amount of money and neglected their good relationship to NC. This was the turning point for Ev0ke IMHO. They really needed strong friends and a new coalition with e.g. Nulli and co, because they didn't had the power to do things on their own (after the loss of these FC's and 2 strong corps). From there on it was just going down every day.

The third decision will now mean the end of Ev0ke as we knew it. It is the decision of the "Leadership" to leave 0.0 blob warfare to small-scale "Elite" PvP, a thing Ev0ke was never really good at. The idea is to "select" the best players and corps from Ev0ke and do some "Elite" Stuff like RNK. As I said Ev0ke was never good at it and many people don't like it, so it is likely that lots of corps and players will leave in the next months.

So in one or two months, this is going to be the place for the new Ev0ke: An insignificant Low,0.0-Alliance which will be roaming here and there, hotdropping maybe one carrier a year and feel really l33t. And the "Leadership" will be really proud of themselves: They destroyed what was once one of the best 0.0 Alliances in EvE. And the great thing is: they don't even care, because one "quality" of the "Leadership" is really out of the box: their ego.

Well the FC – Leadership drama wasn't so straightforward.

First main FC's got tired to blob warfare and went AFK for weeks, then when leadership removed their roles as they didn't really do their duty, drama started and they left evoke.

Funny thing is that now both parties does about the same thing.

Imo Ev0ke was pretty good at "elite pvp" when they started, when they lived in cloud ring and were that "insignificant low, 0.0-alliance".

Its a shame tbh I have been fighting alongside Evoke and co for god knows how long, I was in Dead Terrorists when we turned Cloud ring into a ring of hell for the old NC after we evicted the goonies from thier space, then I fought alongside them again as part of Nulli in Tribute and Vale, it always seemed they were barely trying to even help us tbh, altohugh things were looking up when they formed a 90 man Abaddon/Guard fleet to defend a major NCdot station in Tribute but after that they just didnt seem to bother truning up at all. Shame tbh

What surprises me most, is how much dirty laundry they wash in eveger and everywhere else about each other. Turns out, this public forum-ban for their members was good for them in one way. In the other way the f1 drones never had a reality check, when they never could discuss thgeir point of view or do small scale pvp on their own.

I saw them in action first hand. My alliance infiltrated by their spies, big battles were very problematic, because we had no spies. Most of the day when their FCs and spies were not around, they were so horribly hiding in stations, we just camped their staging system and killed their stragglers, sometimes even infront of their station with 50 in local.

It is very satisfying to see them going down like this – and it does not surprise me at all.

oh and the money from the deal with Goons is gone. There are some really greedy bastards in this alliance. As soon as the others find out, it is over. So yes – it is over.
