    Wait, CFC?

FA came down in drakes because NC. are already bending over.

And they didn't even come until -A- decided to pussy out.

There was no CFC here, only HBC.

    Batphoning CFC?

Some ppl. really need to open their eyes.

If TEST Calls the CFC you will see 3000 vs. 700 not just 1400.

Interesting report. I find it funny that some of the comments think that the GSF is the CFC and when there are reports to FA in system they are not CFC. SC should attack period and kill there new friends lol that would be fun and less station games just a thought….

Previous fights it was 500-600 (SoCo) to 600-800 (HBC) tbh i'm not entirely sure on how many HBC were in the other fights, all i know is that those numbers allowed for fights, really good fights, i mean hell props to HBC!

But i mean 700 to 1400? Christ, i get it's an important system but didn't you guys want a skirmish at all? It could've been fun but everyone was blueballed because the HBC brought 1400 and as a result alot of people are pissed and angry. Me? I couldn't give two shits, i understand the logic behind it however i still really really really wanted to brawl :(

Test has more numbers than -A- and co combined. If they didn't show up with more people, I would have laughed my ass off and started screaming "fail" like everyone else. If they expect to see -A- and co jump into an impending death, they are dumb as hell. Blue balls seems to be the option – you can either walk into the wall and have a reason for them to beat their chest or sit back and laugh at them while they bitch about "no gud fites".

Obviously they wanted to defend the space and not have a good fight, else they would have came more evenly matched. For them to bitch is hilarious. Of course, for -A- and co to bitch that test brought to many numbers, I'd say the same thing. (I am a part of -A- and Co, but I can still face the reality of the situation). – Time to sit and wait for all the trolls to down vote this comment

They kill your scan res, meaning it takes even longer to lock targets, its only chance based, so not always succesful, it kills the locks of your logistics as well, giving them a harder job. Plus its a BS only module, so drake fleets/tengu fleets can't use it

I like how AAA have no clue what they actually are. They hold sov, are in a coalition, they attack and grind sov on a daily basis, they have CTA's and SRP, they own moons and renters; and yet they claim the title of leet pvp, care more about KB's than strategic victories, lack the required numbers to face their enemies and then to compensate by claiming they're built for guerrilla warfare.

A… you can't use the Guerilla warfare tactic in Sov warfare when you hold your own Sov, that's like terrorists having a publicly known clubhouse where they stage all activities from. It really does seem that AAA don't know how to hold space and should probably just give it to Nc. or SOLAR, or someone who actually knows how to hold SOV.

But on the topic of homelessness, I'm hoping that in the next few months NC. and AAA accept that holding sov AND fighting the CFC isn't a good combo, and so decide form the ultimate Gypsy coalition with BL. and Nulli.

Well now i'm saying your an idiot. AAA holds space when we can but we aren't a massive 10k alliance and we don't like blueing the world. So we simply accept the fact that occasionally the super coalitions will roll over us and then we go guerilla when that happens. When the super coalitions move on we take our shit back and life moves on.

Your problem is that you have no clue what they are. You wish you knew so you could pin them down and figure them out. However, it is all there in the open for you to see. They fight against all authorities and they do not forgive when you come for them. It is all you ever have to learn and it is all they ever teach and it sure as hell is enough to keep everyone entertained.

They are like the tiny tip of a needle that bursts the big ballon alliances. Everyone <3 it when a needles does this. Don't you?

They have put the station into reinforcement and they will keep coming. They always have. They will not fight against 1:2 or 1:3 and fall like lemmings. Hardly anyone plays like this, because everyone knows it is stupid. Only TEST alliance throws more ISKs after bad ISKs. It is a classic failure. All you can do to protect the station is to bring all your guys together each and every time until some of you get tired and the balance tips to 1:1 again. The more experienced PvPers in TEST will leave, because they do not want to be part of it any more at which point things will begin to cascade. I have seen it happening so many times before. It will happen again.

A lot of the shit talking is just generally on TEST for being such noobs. When they are anything but in a blob (and even still), they are just… terrible. TEST never took Fountain, it was given them. They couldn't take Delve, Querious, and PB – it was CFC that came down in full-force to take it because their initial attempts didn't work.

Really it isn't a surprise to anyone why anyone makes fun of HBC.

A small alliance pokes a big alliance to come and protect their station. This is always fun to watch.

-A- is looking for fights, always. It is their way of playing the game and they love going for the big alliance. There is no fun in pummelling the small ones unless you have some self-esteem issues. CFC simply ventured too far south for them not to become an interesting target for -A-'s war machine.

-A- fights the good fights just like PL claims to be doing and because constant practise is what makes you good. It hones your skill and it is what you need to do in a constantly changing PvP game. Small changes, but you know what I mean. Now ships open up new possibilities and so do new modules, new mechanics, etc..

The sov game play and conquering and expansion campaigns of the CFC is only fun for the small grunt as long as the targets are weak and do not hit back. TEST will not have a chance against -A-'s guerilla warfare if TEST does not switch up their game from a dumb number game to an intelligent warfare strategy.

I hate the comparison of alliance philosophies with philosophy of the Spartans, because it just so overused, but the strongest and most persistent alliances are those who seek the fight each and every day. Everyone else just comes and goes.

TEST will have to stop their expansion and give back space or -A- will keep coming for them.

          August 10, 2012 at 4:19 pm Reply
          1. Mr_Gr3y

You do understand that the Spartans didn't use guerrilla warfare and they actually "held the line" instead of blueballing everytime they were largely outnumbered right?

Guerilla warfare is great don't get me wrong, but the only thing it's going to do is teach TEST (slowly) how to counter them with either skill or numbers, and if PL actually starts showing TEST the ropes AAA wont even be able to camp a system for more than 30mins before being shut down.

Also on the topic of the Grunts enjoyment in blob battles, most would rather an opponent that hit's back than killing a few weak stragglers, even if the grunt dies he's still got a mountain of kills to show for it, and a fleet to remember, providing that's what they care about.

And on the topic of practice, if TEST doesn't get a fight they reship into suicide ships and welp into AAA on purpose, just to get a fight, everytime a new TEST player dies in a rifter they get showered in isk and new ships, and with the income TEST has from Tech they can sustain a conflict much longer than I believe AAA can.

            August 10, 2012 at 7:05 pm
          2. John Douche

I am not sure that all those myths on Spartans are actually true. Hollywood is known for selling tales of epic glory, but not for historical correctness.

Regarding the outcome… Hope is good, but I have little for TEST. No one can foresee the future of course, but one can look back and learn from the mistakes of others. So much have I seen little mistakes by -A-, but TEST has been throwing lots of ISKs into the war and received a couple of good slaps by -A-. Now TEST has gathered 1300 men for nothing. The outcome was predictable. TEST did not want a fight, but only wanted their precious station saved. They could have had both, it is just a game, so why stop now? This was yet another mistake.

TEST grunts complain about -A- not showing up, but the TEST leadership knows where to find -A-, but did not go after them and so TEST's moral takes another bump. It is not -A-'s fault when TEST gathers 1300 men and not at least starts one hell of a roam deep into -A- space. TEST could have pretended to be looking for them and only for fun. They never thought of having any fun …

            August 10, 2012 at 7:29 pm
          3. yeahderp

we did not gather 1300 for "nothing". we gathered to protect our sov. -a- lost the day. As a side note don't forget that spartans also favored sex with small boys if you're going to compare -a- to them.

            August 10, 2012 at 11:21 pm
          4. John Douche

You did. You gathered to protect, but you brought too many and did not get your fight. How are you ever going to learn to fight properly when you only try to win by out numbering? You are not getting any better at fleet fights without practise.

About the sex with small boys … I think you are right on that one. *lol*

"care more about KB's than strategic victories" Thats of someone that simply doesnt know.

It was impossible to achieve the strategic objectives last night. And in trying, -a- & co. would whelp their entire fleet. While the around 100 carriers on station would have it repped in short order.

I have heard that there is something between -A- and S2N, something about bad blood, or perhaps words spoken in anger without forethought. I heard it all started somewhere when S2N Delved into the rabbit-hole expecting -A- to follow, but -A- didn't and then S2N had to follow the rabbit-hole to the end.
Somehow, "end" is "FW", but that's logic for you.

I don't think -A- and S2N would form an ultimate gypsy coalition given their previous history (And S2N didn't even stay in SoCo, RA and others did stay and RA even got SOV again). I could be wrong, but I won't hold my breath.

Not supprising considering they are much more used to such things happening due to previous wars and are still able to provide a lot of stuff to shot at for their members. Not to mentions that TEST has members that fall for almost any trick including cynobridge of smartbomb battleships.

Even if they would jump in hostiles had enough carriers in system to repair station before SOCO would be able to clear the gate.

I dont Think test or -A- will be able to tale sov from eachother as long as both sides commits to saveing what is in reinforced. What we saw happen here will go the other way for test had they been the aggressor seeing as both sides time reinforcements timers for their timezone, and both sides beat the other in their own tz. And i guess that is good for us people in -A- because could test bring the numbers they showed yestersay, -A- would probably not be able to defend against it.

the big ball of drakes, specially blued a butt load of small wanna be alliance, offering them space in delve if they come show them how to play the game. thorn, 401k, i forget which other scrubs they have now added to the HBC.
so yeh i can see how test thinks this was all about them, there actions and nothing else.

  21. CANADA SUCKS

I wonder what two opposing armies in modern days would comment on news articles on CNN.com like we do here today. Say what all of you will, there are two undeniable facts: 1. We're all a bunch of drama llamas participating in these new article comments. 2. Everyone wants a fight, drama or not, hatred or not, everyone just wants to fight and it is awesome!

My personal take on what happened last night: 2100 people or so voluntarily logged in to participate in a battle, whether it actually went down or not is another story. That should be on major syndicated online news networks! not just Evenews24

Internet spaceships never sounded so epic.

While there is always a lot of trashing regardless of how events did or didn't transpire, real, made up or otherwise I think the saddest thing I have ever seen is the pathetic speeches -A- posted prior to the battle that never happened. This dumb bastard of a leader was talking skull fucking, taking Delve, pushing on the Goons and claiming the whole galaxy twenty minutes before he gave the order to dock up and log off. Not that Im a CFC fan but with leadership like that -A-, I would leave the corp/alliance immediatly because that shit is just embaressing. Even for video game politics, I don't think I could wake up and look at myself in the mirror knowing how badly -A- punked out on their leaders threats and promises. Its pathetic. CFC needs to sweep that shit up and call it a day.

dude its eve ffs – they chose not to fight – good decision – they will keep on niggling at test and wearing them down – they already getting isk to help them from looney goonies – i am on neither side but do dislike test and goonies – never seen so much crap coming out of someones mouth in all my life – AAA have stamina and will not give in – test will lose alot of isk which they cannot afford – and if u had spies u would know that AAA's wallet has risen by a donation from a 3rd party – have a think about it cos if i know someone gave me that amount i would fight test/goons for a long long time

An outsides point of view… Haters gonna hate… no Matter what. If TEST didn't call their friends and fought as the underdog and lost everyone would go "TEST is shit" (silly to do if you have friends and you want to keep your station… call your friends…) Because -A- allowed the blue balling to turn them back everyone says -A- is cowards… if they welped everyone would say -A- is shit…

    Here's the truth…
Neither group is shit, both groups bring tremendous fun to everyone through their clashing… the just differ on opinion. For Now TEST keeps 49- Maybe we'll see more fights later… I sure hope so… but speculatinf on who is better and who is shit… thats just silly, with such member counts both groups are bound to have as many epic pilots as shit pilots =D

TEST – Moving on from the CFC, resetting standings and standing on their own two feet until they need more people and call in for help from members of the CFC.

  27. O C C U P Y

The thing is, Many people in HBC honestly thought we were going to lose this fight. Many of us had about ten ships all stacked up ready to lose, because we didn't know how we could stop the Tengus. If you listen to Montolio's SOTA, he was preparing us for a defeat.

The fact that -A- didn't show up didn't make us whine about blueballing.
-A- not showing up meant we saved the station. Our station. Which we didn't think we could do.
Our Culture, more than anything else, is what won the fight last night. Our culture of :nofucks:

Also, -A- Renters, Montolio's offer of free ratting space in Querious is not a joke or a troll. It's one of the few actual real offers that EVE throws out. If you come live with us and fight with us, we respect our bros, especially those that have the balls to stand up and throw away their current cesspool existences for something better. See Viking Empire.

  28. ROL Grunt

As a ROL Grunt, i have to say we made some mistakes.

We formed to late, people were asking for fleet forming two hours before final timer. We should have formed smaller fleets to make more dificcult the CFC form up.

We should form in the 49- system earlier too, since with such numbers, the time needed to load grid would be more than enough to kill us all. Last fight we did all that, and fight went perfect fo all us.

I still think that, without proper capital support, there is no way we can take SOV, specially with such numbers from testies and such.

Anyway, let´s see what will happen in the next days.

    Good hunt.

i suggest thats , as a ROL grunt, you stop pretending being involved in pvp , and that you return doing RMT .

as long -A-' s leadership are not able to field 1000+ pilots , they should quit any pretentions of playing a major role in nullsec.

they could get a use of their capfleet , but as long they RMT it , no hope there neither.

afterall , being a retirement club for all the stoopids bittervets ingame , is not that bad.
