Xander Phoena and Jeg Elsker are a couple of null-sec PvP grunts with a lot to get off their chests. As an experiment to see who might listen, they started the Crossing Zebras podcast to discuss in-game events from a null-sec PvP perspective. Bringing you opinion and news from across New Eden once a fortnight in a nice and easy one-hour slot, is your go-to place when you need your news in a light-hearted and fun manner.

Crossing Zebras: Episode 9

Late again! This is pretty much Xander’s fault this time but hopefully you’ll agree after listening that he has some reasonably justifiable reasons. Still, despite the fact that the closest this pair get to Tranquility these days is a walk through the park in the sunshine, there is still plenty of news and gossip for them to chew their way through…

Why do you bother reading eve-online forums, dev blogs and do this pod cast if YOU NEVER FUCKING LOG IN.

    Whats wrong with you people?

    1. Mittens ran an entire campaign and took three regions while being banned for a month after FanFestgate. I often use EVE as a glorified chat room when I cba being in fleet. I still log into the client loads without actually flying in fleet because of personal time restraints. I can still follow everything that goes on in-game, chat to people, follow tweetfleet, news sites, kugu, etc without ever having to get into an actual ship. I know lots of people who 'play' EVE without ever flying at all.

So to clarify, maybe rather than saying 'not logging in', we should say, 'not flying in fleets', a subtle but important distinction.

      To further clarify, your mum.

Does anyone really care about this minor technical detail? Pretty much the only major entity in OTEC that wasn't involved was NC. (And you can't really count them as still being OTEC.)

is this another podcast that just regurgitates news we can read about ourselves, or do they actually have opinions and stories of their own?
