It was a bloody, bloody, bloody fight.  Biggest fight Eve has seen in several months.  Killboards were a mess because killmails bugged out from the sheer carnage.  Makalu put supers in harms way, which has escalated this war into one where supers are being fielded by both sides in the same fight.  Considering the 120+ billion isk of dead ships by the end of the fight, both sides can come out of this one with heads held high, fists pounding on chests, and logistics pilots frantically trying to reseed markets and resupply their respective alliances.  Honey Badgers can claim “victory” for this fight, as their strategic objective was accomplished: the SBUs were removed from the system.  Again.  The system is likely SBU’d again at the time of writing this though (whether defensively or offensively will likely depend on when you read this story).  Without further adieu, here are the killboards:

As well as a nice copy-paste from kugu:

So after punting on 700 hostiles earlier we had a 3 hour respite to get ready for the shield timer on the station, relatively unimportant timer that we could have punted on yet again if they formed too much, but, as time grew around numbers looked manageable so we formed.

No bullshit, 5 FC’s on PL comms, plus the FC team working on TEST comms, fielding a bomber group, a Rokh fleet, a Drake fleet, and a Slowcat carrier group.

I was there only to ride in with supers if the chance came, and oh mama, would it come.

As we usually do, we sat dicking around sorting bonus ships and debating last minute fitting changes for so fucking long, that one scout says “they’re shooting the station” and at that point it was do or die, so Sort kicked things off. We only saw about 400 hostiles, though one scout had reported as many as 600..they couldn’t have 600 this late at night could they? Silly us for doubting….

So in goes the drake fleet, which starts the TiDi, bridged to a pos, and then the slowcat cyno carrier undocks and lights his cyno, bringing in the 50 spartan slowcats (seriously, you have no idea how awesome a slowcat fleet is until you try one), the Rokhs coming in last.

What followed was a 3 hour orgy of death and destruction that would see north of 1200 ships die. The Tengus would kite out away from the slowcats that were chewing through them like a fat kid on a muffin and the Rokhs would limp along after them, and once the tengus were outside of the circle of death the carriers projected they would turn on the battleships and maul them. Meanwhile the drakes ran around like some kind of jogging path rapist just grabbing what they could and mauling it before they were obliterated.

You have no idea, how awesome it was to see TEST just constantly reshipping and coming back, drake after drake after drake. Rokhs, Huggins, Scimmies, you name it, the bridge titans were burning fuel like mad pumping people back into the fight.

A wild fleet of tornados appeared, only to get bombed to fuck by the test bombers. Meanwhile AAA bombers were working on the carrier fleet parked underneath the station trying to blast through our sentries, and when they weren’t doing that, they would absolutely own herds of drakes in the mouth.

Then it happened.

“Maka’s Erebus on Grid”

He’d come to DD a Niddhogger

A short debate happened over the number of supers that AAA was able to field at the time, and it was at first deemed that the 40 in system would log in and potentially fuck any response we could come up with…yea, so turns out PL still logs in for “Titan Tackled”, we jumped up 60 supercarriers in a matter of seconds and I gave the command to go (this is the command i should have given the second your ass hit the grid but my mistake). The TiDi that wound up from our jump in saved him, Bluemajere took a tirade of abuse from me as his bubble just wouldn’t launch, and as the air around the Erebus filled with fighter bombers it slipped into warp.

This period marked some of the heaviest losses for the AAA fleets as they scrambled to unfuck the titan and chaos spread across their comms for about 8 minutes solid.

At this point we were fairly well committed, and I decided to end the fight as best I could, or at least go for the objectives since the Human Wave attack method was bound to run out eventually. We picked an SBU, and after trying to get unfcuked by every dictor AAA had we managed get all the supers in warp to the sbu. a

Meanwhile the subcap meat grinder continued uner and over the station, Drake reinforcements came in waves of 100, shockingly the original BS fleet was still around and in one piece, and the carriers were killing at a fair clip. 60 supers tear through an SBU, even in gay ass 10% TiDi or whatever obscene number it was at and as it popped, AAA set up drag dictors 100km off our next chose SBU. Leme tell you how bad it sucks to try and realign in that kind of TiDi.

Hope sprang in the form of Sorts voice going “Hey one of these SBU’s is TEST”.

ORLY, well ok then lets do what one shepherd said to the other shepherd and get the flock out of here. Human wave attacks can only be sustained for so long, and after 3 hours, I was worried we were getting near that point so getting the fuck out of dodge became a priority. A little leetcheese drama later and the supers were safe, the subcaps recalled and dagrro’d on the station docking up, bloody and dirty, but reborn hard as woodpecker lips.

The final casualty as the slowcats covered the exit was Elektreas carrier, who was convo spammed as he was bumped off, fairplay just another body on the fire at this point.

Good fight, BR’s will show up when the killboards finally finish choking down 1200 dead and or missing.

Good fight to both sides.

"Victory" though, I don't think either side lost over 100 billion. The two sides combined lost that. It was closer to a 50b to 70b split of losses.

Don't be silly, the point isn't the amount lost, the importance is maintaining control of the area of space, IF the enemy brings enough fleet to kill 100 bil then you need to bring 100 bil to lose + if you want to defend the system. In the end the system was saved…so yes …victory.

First of all, neither side actually lost 100 bil I was just responding to the example, in-kind. Secondly, If you are insinuating TEST would be starved against -A- in a war of attrition, the only thing to do is wait and see.
Thirdly when-A- and friends have to bring this kind of numbers to bear, and TEST and friends have to respond in kind, and you are talking about many tens of billions lost on both sides, you have to consider those margins of loss quite close. 70bil vs 50 bil… still a heavy price for everyone, but if you have time to hit and run with titans just to blap a couple carriers and still not accomplish the objective, it speaks to your coalitions lack of focus, and means your losses are for nought, where as our losses bought us victory.

      1. Test or PL did a great job countering bomber runs we would drop a bomb and lose a bomber.
      2. A few well placed bombs by -A- wrecked those scimi's I can honestly say I don't know if Test had 30+ scimi's or more but after one bomb run that number dropped to about 3-5
      3. I really have to ask the logic of this mid way through the right the BC fleet warps off to setup a gate camp leaving BS and carriers on station no idea why this was done, you only got to kill stealth bombers and pods
      4. You guys had 2 failed bombing runs and one successful one its kinda funny seeing like 9 electron bombs dropped and one concussion wipe em all out

All in all it was a good fight seriously -A- did a great job holding the field and test did a gj re-shipping and coming back for more.

Battle reports and numbers don't lie though. I think everyone knows at this point that this isn't really TEST's war. It is PL leading it, and without them, it wouldn't even be a war.

Actually it´s a surprising well written report. A little too much at PL/Testie wins, but not that wrong at all…

Strategicly, PL/Testie won the battle, since they keep the field. But they had heavy losses, as we do. A corpmate did 400 kills in 3 hours of non-stop fighting, using something like 8000 round of caldary missiles in his tengu.

I hate him so much !

As the biggest noob in all eve, i only had two drakes and did almost nothing, just 6 kills. Really need to take my tengu to 4-07 as fast as i can !

There was so many fleets and sub-fleets. We had a gang camping the 4-07 drake, preventing reinforcements to come back, then we made a couter-gang to then, then there was a bomber gang, a counter-bomber gang…mate, really, you had everithing during that fight.

    More to come, for sure.

garbage information, as usual. Here are the facts:

    – IHUB was killed unopposed.
    – ONE SBU was killed. A new one took its place 3hrs later and station went into final reinforce, since TEST couldn't get it repped.
    – ONE AAA Titan was on field during the fight, DD'd a PL Niddy then escaped bubbles and warped off. PL/Test dropped all 40+ supers they had on standby to kill it and failed. An Archon was bumped off station and killed by subcaps a few minutes later. Another carrier was DD'd even later on after PL supers left.

    – AAA lost a negligible amount of tengus, and won the field. 150+ drakes

    – Tidi was at 10% often, for most of the 2.5hrs of the actual fight.

It was a Test Niddy. Test lost a Niddy at the beginning of the fight (a corp mate of mine) to Maka, PL lost an Archon late in the fight to tengus, then a second Test Niddy died after the fight.

This battle report is the definition propaganda, keep the troops spirits high Bagehi, you have a long war ahead of you, ask RA how long -a- keeps wars going for.

Could be again a great battle.

No matter how good -A- does against Test, everyone knows it's going to come down to 1 thing. Numbers. Numbers are something Test has a lot more of than -A- even without calling in goons. -A- can win this battle, take back this system, and take back all of Querious Delve and Period basis, but sooner or later -A- will just run out of people and resources and Test will force them back into stain. "Good fights" or "we didn't want that sov" my ass. I've flown with -A- they're just as much a sov holding butthurt alliance as anyone. Good job -A- it's always nice to give a reach around in between ass rammings.

ahh, all of this sperging and desperation is nice. after two months straight of being shat on and hellcamped and losing 3 regions in a matter of weeks, -A- has finally managed to turn things around. Kudos, -A-, it only took the entirety of the CFC leaving, and even then you're still struggling to take a single system back. How does it feel that the game's shittiest nullsec alliance is holding your entire coalition at bay? I understand the past few months have been traumatic for you so I also understand that you need to grasp at every single killboard victory you can get, but do realize Test is playing the long game, and winning overwhelmingly at it.

rather than gleefully showering in the shitload of propaganda you're forcefed by your DekCo masters, do a little search of your own and answer me this –

how many systems has -A- lost to anyone from DekCo/CFC/whatever?

what's quite bewildering is just how willing you fools are to believe propaganda that you KNOW is propaganda, just ebcause it gives you a chance to feel better about yourself.

      1) check the evekill leader boards. look at -A-'s position for july, then look at size compared to your other alliances. but oh wait hurf durf numbers of kills and isk values don't matter, right?
      2) you say that we're struggling to take the system back? how is shield RF'ing, then coming and armor RF'ing 3 hours after the timer expired "struggling?" you understand the game doesn't allow for flipping it last night, right? i suspect that you, like many others of your kind, simply don't understand what you're talking about.
