“…So Mitten’s say Lokis are terrible…

…Because the person who doesn’t log into game can actually make judgements about ships”

“If he (The Mittani) was pretty good, he would be in TEST” <- QOTW right there"

TL;DR: The above lines were just recited by Makalu Zarya when a 150man fleet cynoed into UEXD-Z (Delve), as the fleet cynoed, Makalu – who was the FC in charge of a fairly large Loki-doctrine fleet was quickly overwhelmed by the non-stop ship spam from the Deklein Coalition (the 150man fleet was apparently the vanguard of the full 400+ DekCo fleet).

What follows might be one of the most hysterical reversals in recent Eve Online history, enjoy the video:

Video credit to the Fidelas Constans frapser.

I have to agree with Makalu to some extend, the Mittani is indeed wrong – the Lokis doctrine is pretty good ships… the thing is – no matter how good the doctrine is – if the FC doesn’t hold up and the grunts do not follow orders competently – which was the case with this engagement.

The FC for the DekCo side was Shadoo, with Vee serving as his subcap lieutenant.

In the end an hilarious taste of irony on how quickly you can bite your tongue in Eve.

Glad I missed out in this.

I'd reckon Makalu's FC style to that of Mr Bean's driving skills. Yes he can do it and is generally competent but there's is always a risk of hilarious results.

Makalu's general attitude reminds me of literally everything that was wrong with the old NC.

            -Old Guard, Bitter Attitude? Check.
-Calls himself a 'PvP' player, yet sits in stations? Check.
            -Incessantly Terrible poster? Check.
            -Likes Battleclinic? Check.
-Is so damn incompetent, even his own fleet members put ECM drones on him? Check.
-Still thinks the war in Delve is about 'Good Fights'? Check.

After the past month or so; with all -A- and Nulli have said, they still don't understand that the CFC isn't there for good fights. They are there to burn down the region.

Why you ask? Because they can.

Well- much like building a 'temporary insanity' plea, they have to begin their damage control early. I mean- they are probably planning the move to Curse or Stain or wherever -A- runs off to as we speak.

Well the leadership anyway, no doubt their line members and grunts will get stuck with firesales or some asinine story later to build faux morale.

Pandemic Legion too…useless cowards. Once DRF allies because they big and strong and could take their tech. They fight south because fighting north is too risky…might lose tech. NC. are PL bros, all in the south because ..well ..tech wars are too risky. Goons finish off White Noise after failed Southern Campaign, PL throw NC. bros under bus…no bros no more…tech more important…goons please don't hurt us, we make deal. You let us keep tech and we let you hold our testicle in your strong crushing hands like DRF did. 😛

          6. Imigo

Actually, Razor stuck by CFC the whole time, and they were on the front end of the assault back into Tenal. Goons didn't "give" them Tenal, we simply helped them get it back.

            July 4, 2012 at 4:22 am
          7. Ehh..no

Exactly, they quit the fight for their space and joined another massive coalition for protection. They only got their space back because goons decided to eradicate the useless White Noise alliance. The entire time they were hiding in the CFC, they had to abide to CFC agreements with the old DRF for no sov warfare (while the DRF was down south putting the hurt on AAA). RZR did as it was told like the good pets they are.

Don't pretty they did anything more. This is very different to AAA which gets shat on by megablobs periodically but hangs around and goes wolfpack waiting for the enemy to weaken or fracture.

    3. CFC - The New NC

The CFC's propaganda motto for this war is that SoCo never undocks or engages. This is coming from the most risk averse, largest NAP coalition ever seen in the game. They refused to engage the loki fleet when it was 2:1, and only entered the fight when the 2nd drake fleet was cynoed in onto the loki fleet. This has happened numerous times.

There has yet to be an engagement where the CFC engaged SoCo in their staging system without knowing they had further back up in 1dh or KFIE-, even if they outnumbered them.

It's extraordinarily cute when the terrible SoCo Grunts *actually* listen to what their inept leaders are saying. If you haven't seen by now, the propaganda from SoCo is some of the worst this game has seen. Ever. So you spewing shit about CFC+HB being risk averse is pretty hilarious. But hey, it's a good thing CCP put in that ship spin counter – not like you have anything else to do.

It's extraordinarily cute when the CFC grunts listen to their leaders. You find safety in your masses of grunts and you run away every single time you face a fleet that you even outnumber 3:1 (and this has happened). Every time you engage, you have additional fleets bridging in or caps, supers, etc and then you complain that SoCo are the cowards. The irony is overwhelming.

It could also be a time-zone difference… Besides, I kind of doubt CCP will allow a scenario when 40-50 people can rape 400-500 people only because they botted so hard for so long and got themselves titans. Wouldn't you agree that it could diminish the CCP's user base? AKA INCOME? You only need one plex to play a titan char for a month but you need 20 plexes to keep 20 maelstroms active for a month. Getting it?

            July 3, 2012 at 6:49 pm
          5. POOT

its just because goons cant adapt, -a- and co had to fight pl in delve last year when it was just titan blob after titan blob, no changes there, but no one in -a- was going to leave the game, they just changed tactics. this just proves goons cant adapt to having to fight titans so they have to cry to ccp to nerf the shit out of titans, the only (well working) force modifier to fight blobs and blobs of nerd bees

By your logic engaging anywhere within a few jumps of 1DH or KFIE means they have backup. The hilarious difference between -A- and the CFC is…

The members of -A- are there because the HAVE to be (or you will get fined, kicked, mocked, booted, insulted, or be forced to listen to someone talk down to you from their leaderships pedestal of awesome about what an inordinate shitheel you happen to be).

The CFC is simply there because THEY WANT TO BE. You promised fights, they obliged- then you backed out.

Deal with it. Less than 2 months ago -A- was touting 'come say that in Catch' and now that they are you're all saying 'we didn't want that space empire anyway'.

Goonpets took Goon strategy by blobing the shit out of every enemy as much as you can. I'd like to see some good fights. Cause this is like when ppl in fantasy MMOs go around noob cities and kill ppl with level 2, thinking we are pros. Real pros go fair fight and still win without big losses.

CFC should watch some Rooks and Kings videos.

        RnK doesn't care about sov.

Anyway, if you want good fights it's better to play a different game. Eve has very rarely been about good fights outside of the small gang level (or RvB I guess). If someone wants to be good on the 'flying a spaceship' level they usually avoid sov altogether and join things like Hydra, Darkside and RnK.

In sov warfare you do whatever is necessary to win. Goons have played the alliance game better than anyone else and that's why they're winning it.

Anyone who fights them knows they aren't going to get lots of a balanced fleet fights they are going to get their sov ground to dust until they fall apart – that's what CFC do. It's not pretty, it's not elegant, but, it's very effective. Another three weeks and it'll turn into a cakewalk, why pretend it won't?

I'm not a goon and happily live in NPC space and earn isk doing high sec incursions (cheap I know) but, CFC is probably the most pro 0.0 sov alliance out there. Being a sov alliance means you take space and hold it. These guys are masters at taking space. The logistical support to get 100s of people to move across the map and keep them in toys is impressive. Their ability to get those players to then turn up for what we all acknowledge is simply going to be a one sided meat grind is also pretty impressive. It's a MMO, the clue is in the first M.

In the end, goonies win but claiming to be winning the subcap engagement is pushing credibility. The fact that you killed a fleet out numbering them 4 to 1 and are going spastic over it just illustrates this.

FYI: u have to kill 1000 + drakes just to break even from the loss SoCo took on this fight alone: http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=8565

The 250+ drake fleet they had at first refused to engage the 150 man loki fleet, they burned off the gate in the system on the other side while begging for another drake fleet to form in KFIE. Only after the drake fleet cynoed in and the loki fleet engage did the initial drake fleet come back to fight. The result: 400 vs 140.

Hard not to win 400 vs 140 but the CFC thinks it's something crazy to behold. No matter how good a doctrine is, you aren't going to win against a blob. This blob refuses to fight in any situation where they don't have an overwhelming numbers advantage.

    July 3, 2012 at 7:22 am Reply

A- never should have engaged. And they should have had kfie scouted. They shouldn't have jumped in before the number of drakes being cyno'd in had been reported properly. They really shouldn't have been using lokis either, since it's just a big flag asking cfc to formup a gang for expensive t3 kills.

A- got outplayed. They need to stop blaming it on 'the blob', accept that they lost, and work on their mistakes.

That recording sounds so much like the old NC that's it's uncanny.

Don't you wish that's what happened. The "250-man drakefleet" was actually just over 100. The rest of that was the remnants of the 160 man frigate fleet that your bombers were having sooo much fun with beforehand. The frigs were on their way back home after they realized that -A- wouldn't undock anything but bombers for them and ran into a half-full drakefleet. The frigs merged with them, giving them all the lovely fast tackle that the -A- fc was shouting about in there.

Suddenly, the CFC shows up, SoCo relocates to 319 (NPC Delve for the geographically challenged) and stands down a Red Pen CTA 6 minutes after formup due to being hell camped by 1000. 11. What you don't realize is that -a- wouldn't have engaged unless they knew they had an advantage. We actually had to go refit our drakes to fight the loki's. Let me put it this way we weren't doing kinetic damage as -a- expected among other adjustments we made. The fact that were using tech 1 ships means we can get more in a fleet. SoCo should be able to field similar numbers but they lack organization and they fly dumb doctrines which negatively impact their numbers.

There are plenty of facts wrong with your statement.
      1) The first drake fleet was a little over 100, with a bunch of frigates who merged with them on the road. The one that came from behind was probably 250. But I guess if they showed up from the start, -A- wouldnt have found the courage to undock.
      2) The drake fleet hardly "ran away" from the superior loki fleet. We can through 319, shitting up local, and then left immediately because our goal was to shoot some structures. However, the loki fleet undocked after us and followed us, and we halted at a gate a few jumps later
      3) Their doctrine is shit. These lokis cost 10x as much as a drake, are slower, do less damage, tank about the same. The only advantage they got is that artillerie deals instant damages, unlike missiles, and a smaller sig radius.
4)Something like 2 weeks ago, shadoo had a "meatgrinder" afternoon. At that time, it was still TEST+PL+99, and they formed about 250 to fight between 400 and 600 of -A-, S2N and RA. They lost a drake fleet, then another, the another, and in the end, while not having a crushing lead in the isk war -that the SoCo didnt have either-, the objective of keeping the 3 fleets occupied while some supers were grinding down sov structure was accomplished. The SoCo lost a good lot of battleships and tengu that day, killed huge numbers of drakes, and lost some sov. That was what happened when the honeybadger gets "blobbed". They fight, and they fuck up what they can.

The last time we lost our space, we had the top 10 on DOTLAN invade. Goons were too chicken shit to do anything against the DRF and took part in the pvp free north. Only AAA and the south were fighting back then. PL as usually jumped from blobfest DRF, to blobfest CFC (throwing NC. under the bus in the process).

The last time goons lost some stations in Delve due to unpaid bills, they packed their bags and quit. Too tough to fight the hard fight when things go bad a little. Half the alliances that came south, disbanded in the process of the long grind. So yeah, I love the fact that we can get blobbed to shit, lose it all and still hold it together and push back.. 95% of eve just packs it in.

Pro tip, when you've got 120 supers and 50 titans turtled up in a cynojammed system with about 300 compitent subcap pilots, it doesn't matter how big your blob is. 2000, 4000, it honestly doesn't matter. So good luck to the CFC if they would like to try assaulting Tribute. "Steamrolling" -A- is as easy as getting a hug off a kid with downz. They don't even try to defend space anymore after DRF war, which you can't really blame them for. This doesn't make you awesome.

When Goons got BoB'd they built a coalition stronger than previously. They didn't give a shit about -A- and the South. Honestly, they would probably love someone large and organized enough to challenge them to wipe all the shitty little principalities of the map. Mittani said as much, which is why we are doing so ourselves now. My personal tinfoil conspiracy theory is that TEST will get all that space and then get reset so we can have awesome US TZ fights regularly.

          * The INIT war was lost again out of attrition. INIT admitted it had enough of the daily CTAs and said screw this. PL bailed on the usual 'contract up' excuse.

    6. come on, seriously!

CFC taking over Catch? You must be one of the carebears of the former NC! It's the same hubris which brought them down.

There is one thing that you guys obviously didn't get right: You guys don't outblob your enemy only because you can. You do it only because there is no other way for you to survive! But don't get me wrong: that's okay. I'm not making any accusation at all. That's even a quite convenient strategy when your member base has few SPs. But it's a defensive strategy and you shouln't forget that!

The moment you lose your respect towards your enemies and consider yourselfes invincible is the moment where your fail cascade timer will begin to tick. The same timer which started to tick when the former NC decided they are now elite-carebears and it's time to attack DRF… I mean seriously: -A- survived so many wars against so many capable enemies and now you come and wanna wipe em away within a few days? That's pathetic!

History will always repeat itself. Too bad you guys are too ignorant to accept that fact.

CFC cares more than we do. We lost a far bigger T3 fleet in the east and will lose plenty more fleets in this war. Still, very amusing how excited CFC gets with a 125 to 400 win after losing fleets all week. This war as a LONG way to go and it will not be won on ISK. Its not the first time we have been down this road.

I highly doubt that I'm going to move being the stubborn bastard I am. The absolutely worst case scenario for me is that we end up roaming a few jumps each day to kill incompetent renters/puppet alliances. Killboards aren't important.

Sov Wars and Solo PvP are completely opposite things. The two metrics your average killboard warrior will like to sling about are 'We Won the ISK War' and 'We Held the Field'.

The funny thing about to two sayings is, a few weeks later- they are all being said in Empire, In Low-Sec or NPC Null.

And apparently some CFC alliance called Gentlemen's Agreement has decided to occupy the place. A few hours back there was a small-scale war in there, involving cap ships and even a titan. I can't be arsed to see who's actually ahead in isk, but does that even matter?

Fact is the CFC is already in Catch/Stain. Heck, if they get into AAA's house any farther, they'll be finding the porn hidden in the closet.

I found it so typical of -A-, they are good PvP'rs there is no doubt of that, but they are so up themselves its highly amusing when they fall flat on their face. But still at the end of this I want the Goons defeated, should my alliance get pulled into this fight, I hope our leadership do what we need to do and not do anything under -A- leadership as it sucks…

AAA wins the isk and morale war in the opening days of Delve IV despite losing stations to the CFC + PL superblob. Then Mittens successfully baits AAA into deploying Lokis for Shadoo to blob with CFC Drakes, negating AAA's stunning kb efficiency of their campaign to date.

Is this the turning point of, if not of the war, then at least of round 1? Smarten up AAA, you seemed to know what you had to do. Now stick to your game plan and show that your in it for the long haul. Only you can defeat the combined forces of smugness and stupidity.

I like the tengu more for these blobs myself because of the range but if an AAA FC want to experiment a little, stuff is bound to screw up from time to time. No big deal. ISK wise, I'm perfectly fine and ready for a many month campaign of fun.

the blob is funny, the fight earlier we had 250 in 1 fleet and made 50 in a 2nd. half were docked. they undocked into a CFC fleet while the other half were warping to the station to aid the undocking. local was at 800 ish at this point, slightly tipped in the cfc faviour. soon as the fleet undocked local jumpped to 1000, then 1200, ending at 1450ish. so while we were prepared to fight nearly 2v1 it ended up at 4v1 with titans and supers on station. while i like a fight and 2v1 is fine, cfc just gotta blob.
lost a loki in the fleet later on, replaced already and the sp loss is mostly retrained so meh was fun and could have been a decent fight until it tipped to almost 4 v1 again, cfc gotta blob.
just the beging of this campaign and its gonna be a very long one, loose space now, get it back later, all this has happened before and will happen again, such is eve

What -A- seem to fail to realize is that the past two times when they waited then retook their space is that the enemy they were facing left and had other things to do. PL left because their contract was up and IT/BOB left cause Goons/Test invaded Fountain. This time around the enemy their facing literally have nothing better to do after this war is over if -A- happens to lose space.

And I'm sure your spies in SoCo coms knew what we had so its pointless to spin SoCo having 500 on that fight as all parties knows its not the case.

FC bored to spinning ships ordered undock and fuckton more cfc bridged in. Docking in 10% TiDi was lottery I guess. You obviously turkey shot and won the "fight".

ummm so test/goons blobbed… and this is news? seriously this is some fail shit guys…

How about the battle in 319 where canaris undocked 200 naga fleet, into 100 rokhs on station just to try to get a fight of some sort, and the result was f*cking test dropping 10 dreads, a numbe rof titans and nearly 800 more drakes/rifters/rokhs … i mean seriously? You want SoCo to form fleets, but when we do these are the fights you bring???

At this rate there going to let you just grind space forever, then once you get bored flip it back once you leave, as was done in the past … i mean if you want your grunts to get fights you need to occassionally do some half decent non-1000 vs 200 fleets.

Nerd, we (TEST) aren't going to leave. After we've stripped your sov we're going to stay and maintain it mostly because fuck you that's why. We're not here for gudfites anymore we now come craving the fabled slopes, and we'll push as far south as we need to satisfy it. If you aren't having fun being blobbed then quit.

I believe their stated objective is delve and beyond. Nulli posted themselves into this one, and the hbc/ cfc are in full out sov warfare now. Fights mean nothing to them at this point, they want to break socos will to fight with their massive numbers, and are doing it right now. Yes, it would be epic if soco got a numbers boost and was able to start fighting these fleets… but facing a tech-backed coalition with almost unlimited isk for resources, vast numbers, and pilots who love tears as much as killmails is tough situation. Soco might just turtle up again and wait for the storm to pass. Even if soco does this and rides out the storm, what makes one think this coalition won't just come back when you try and retake things. They are bored and that would ease their boredom. I've seen the resilience of -a- and friends first hand in the war for Feythabolis, but this is a new beast we are seeing atm and all is uncertain imo.

tl;dr It's not about fights for cfc/ hbc at this point. Strategic objectives and sov is the name of the game right now. And tears of course.

So lemme get this right … you are saying that in a war, we should fight fair? Sorry ol' bean, but the time for 'guudfites' is long past. This is war. The sole purpose of war is to crush your enemy. If the CFC blobs the -A- and pets Co at every turn and they get demoralized …. the war just got easier to win. If you want small 1 on 1 'guudfites' then go to NPC null. If you wanna throw big words around about how you are comin for the badguys up north then prepare to have your time ruined.

Remember, hellcamping and dropping EVERYTHING that you see are all valid demoralization tactics. If I want to take someone's space and crush their alliance it is much easier thing to do if only half of them ever log in anymore. HTFU or STFU.

In this case -A- were cocky, they thought they knew they could win and ended up getting blobbed and blapped because they underestimated the enemy, superior numbers doesn't always guarantee a victory but smart planning and prior preparation does.

Although to be fair 400 Vs 80 your pretty much guaranteed to be welped.

This is a Sov war, blobbing is gay, but history is written by the victor, but the butthurt guy in Stain.

Actually pretty right. PL got its ass handed to it by Nulli and called in the first blob (TEST). Then suddenly everyone was surprised when Nulli decided to ask for allies to counter the blob. Suddenly, goons make some complete horseshit speech about 'Hidden WMDs' and 'Direct Threat in Delve' and mobilized the mega blob.

The amount of horseshit you CFC clowns are fed is beyond comprehension.

            July 4, 2012 at 5:02 am
          2. ROfL

Good try on that spin. PL was there to fuck around. Nulli and RA got scared and teamed up once TEST came in. Numbers were for the most part even at first. Fights were good besides nulli and co bitching about ehonor like not dropping caps while they were doing the same. They stopped giving fights so TEST/99% started to take space. Nulli called in -A- which was what they should have done with a threat to their space. CFC didn't come until -A- fully deployed to Delve. Direct threat or not everyone loves to shit on -A- especially goons.

-A- also has to remember that they said they wanted this to happen. You don't provoke the CFC and not expect blobs.

            July 4, 2012 at 3:54 pm
          3. SpaceHobo

            This is quite the load.

PL turned up as a neutral party in the war between RA and Nulli. Killed 2 RA titans and RA then retreated from delve. With RA gone, PL then started distrupting Nulli who were sov grinding, until eventually Nulli and RA teamed up, started bringing in -A- on a casual basis.

TEST (who live in the next door region of Fountain) then started joining in the action and the odds were evened for a bit.

Then, full -A- and pet deployment to delve – CFC join the fight on the side of PL/TEST (Honeybadgers)

Hope this clears up your slightly misinformed SoCo view of how events transpired. Read the previous Kugu or EN24 reports on the war.

Most Nulli members have around 100 billion in personal ISK, do you really think they need some ratting space? Nulli has been talking for years literally of giving up their space and becoming a non sov holding elite PvP alliance. Unless you can and do beat Nulli in equal fights, you loose.
