Fidelas Constants duked it out against Tribal Dragons, Ethereal Dawn, Persona Non Gratis and company in a massive 400+ local fight in the 3IK-7O solar system of the Etherium Reach region. The station was coming out of reinforcement and an uninvited guest arrived to do the “Party Shuffling”.

Ménage à Trois on Etherium Reach – Ev0ke vs FCON vs IRC/Etherium residents.

After a week of roaming gangs and small fleet battles over SBU’s in none station systems, FCON decided to up the stakes in their deployment into Etherium Reach by reinforcing both the 3IK-70 and HV-EAP stations that belong to Imperial Legion and Tribal Dragons respectively. Until the recent exchange of LXQ2-T into the hands of Solar Fleet, these two stations where extremely important in the logistics chains of the Etherium Reach alliances.

The two expected sides for the encounter would be FCON flying their regular fleet of Drakes and Tengus with supporting recons/logi against the Etherium Reach Coalition of Ethereal Dawn, Imperial Legion, Persona Non Gratis and Tribal Dragons with a miss match of Drakes, Canes and assorted random battleships. Early Intel put both fleets around the 100 mark with the Etherium Reach Coalition having a slight edge on numbers.

Once in 3IK-70, the Etherium Reach residents went to work on the SBU’s on the gates and awaited FCONs arrival. They promptly showed up and deployed into their PoS they had set up in the system previously.

Enter the first sets of allied parties, for FCON from Kalevala Expanse a group of 50 Soldiers of New Eve rode in a jump bridge straight into system and promptly joined FCON in the PoS. For Etherium Reach, a fleet of 80 Canes from IRC arrived in system and formed up with them at station.

The stage was set for a battle between the two sides until……

EVOKE unwilling to allow others to have all the fun without them arrived in system with a 120 man heavy armour gang of Abaddons, Lokis, Proteus and Heavy Logi numbers. Unwilling to stay on grid against this new threat the Etherium Reach Coalition fell back into their own safe PoS and where promptly chased by EVOKE who began bubbling up the PoS and killing stragglers.

While this was taking place the FCON + allies fleets moved into position on the station and begin hitting their timer. Unfortunately EVOKE were there for a fight and their patience with the now PoS’ed up Etherium Reach fleet ran out quickly, they returned to grid at the station with an expertly coordinated warp in and caught the entire FCON logi fleet in a bubble, promptly wiping them out.

Without Logi the FCON/Kalevala fleets where quickly put to route with heavy loses including 9 of their Tengus.

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=13644579

With the Majority of the FCON fleet now scrambling to reship, Soldiers of New Eve leaving the field and heading home to Kalevala and EVOKE too left the system leaving the field free for the Etherium Reach Coalition to return to their business of removing the SBU’s and repairing the station.

However, it did not take long however for FCON to reship and be back in system, warping to the station to initiate probably the largest engagement of the evening. 170 Etherium Reach/IRC faced off against a 90 man Fidelas Constans fleet who where quickly joined by 6 carriers for support.

The battle was brutal with neither side willing to give up the field the Etherium Fleet has superior numbers and fire power but the reps off the carriers made breaking the FCON tanks difficult. As IRC Canes went down at alarming numbers only quick target switching by the Etherium Reach FC allowed their DPS to break the carriers reps and inflict causalities in return. As the wrecks around the 3IK-70 station rose, one of the FCON Thanatos made a fatal mistake and entered triage, this was noticed almost at once by the Etherium Coalition Fleet who went to work on the stricken carrier who’s tank was no way near enough to hold up against the incoming damage. Shortly after the carrier was destroyed, scouts reported that EVOKE had returned and both fleets began to disengage and return to their safe PoS’s to lick their wounds, good fights where exchanged in local from both sides of the conflict.

EVOKE did not return to system and soon after round two was kicked off, now with reduced numbers the Etherium Coalition struggled to break the reps of the FCON carriers. Only by once again quickly switching targets or by forcing the carriers to wrap around grid and break their chains down where kills made. As the battle came to an end and FCON finally decided to leave the field, yet another error by a tengu pilot left him tackled on grid with the Etherium Reach fleet as his allies warped away, he was promptly sent back to Skarkon by the vengeful defenders.

All in FCON won the isk war against the Etherium Reach coalition but suffered badly at the hands of EVOKE. The Etherium Reach coalition held the field as the smoke cleared and successfully repaired both stations before clearing all the FCON SBU’s out of the system.

FCON’s deployment into Etherium Reach certainly has added some spice to an otherwise dormant region of space and provided good fights for all parties involved.

Ares Protectiva POV

Form up was announced by our FC at 18:00 ET, seems there is some fun.

So, Fidelas Constans invite us (Ares Protectiva) to take part of a “big” fight on station against some guy who live in Etherium Reach.

We jump into the system at 18:30 ET, FCON are already here and there is some blue and others peoples here too.
Ev0ke and Ewoks are here too, local is 400~~ peoples.

First fight for us (Ares) was against Ev0ke, Evoke’s HID make a pretty good job, some of our die in this fight, we kill some of them.

Then, FC’s send us into a blue POS in this system, waitin for the leaving of Evoke.

When it’s done, we came back into the fight, there is some blue and red triage carrier on the field. Then a nice began and it was pretty good for us..

Few minutes after the beginning of this second fight, a fleet of T3 snipe BC came and begin to shoot everyone in our side.
They did a lot of damage by insta pop most of people they shoot at. On this fight, FCON loose some carrier but they save most of them.

I’m not sure but I saw some NC. at local, don’t know if they fight or not at this time.

We left the system (Ares Protectiva) with only one basilisk.

It was a good fight, thanks for coming.

Fidelas Constans POV

Today went exactly as we hoped. You may remember my pic from the OP post illustrating what I thought might happen today, and we were not disappointed.

LINK to Pix

So what happened? Well, we formed up with our tengufleet at 17:30, fleet quickly maxed out at over 115, including our combat carriers. ARISE also formed l ~30 drakes. Basically after our honor fight with them earlier I invited them to show up today as blues, as I expected us to get blobbed. SONE, who we also set blue (they are now reset) also came along with about 50, but they failed to kill anything and were wiped out by EVOKE. Oops!

We knew, based on spies, that the ER coalition had about 125 in fleet, and IRC a further 80+. What we didn’t know about was EVOKE. After getting into the 3IK- system we safed up and waited for SONE to get into system. Long story short, EVOKE comes in with 90+ abaddon fleet, local spikes to over 460, and they start blapping everything. Had we been in an alphamael fleet we may have been able to fight them, but instead we lost about 9 tengus before exiting the field. I seem to have picked the worst possible day to take an EM hardener off of our tengus :)

Evoke decided to leave, and we went back to shooting the 3ik- station. We wanted a fight. At this point SONE decides to leave; leaving us outnumbered roughly 2.3 to 1. About 230 IRC+ER coalition fleet members come onto field. At this point there was only one option, drop carriers with EVOKE 3 jumps away! We were balls to the walls at this point, there was a very high chance none of our carriers were coming home. We immediately start neuting primaries and triage repping our own ships. Most primary hostile ER ships die, but IRC actually catch reps about half the time. Unfortunately we lose a triage carrier to neuts from tempests and hurricanes with 15s left on his cycle. Some tier 3 sniping BC gang comes onto field, but they don’t realize tengus have exceeding long range. We blap a few of them before they leave. Hostiles start exiting grid as EVOKE returns, and we do as well. At this point ARISE decides to call it quits as well.

Evoke leaves again, and we are back at it, but completely without blues, fighting on the station with combat carriers. At this point the enemy FC gets too close, and the withering fire of our caps, subcaps, and faction neuts finally wipes him off the field, as well as their boosting claymore. At this point the enemy fleet becomes disorganized and we take the time to destroy several now-unboosted logistics ships as the hostiles run.

Round 3: We have now been fighting for over three hours, and our fleet has gone from 115+ to just 70. Round three does not last long. ER Co comes back onto the field after their FC borrows a drake from one of their fleet members. After several skillful fleet warps from FCON and some good lachesis points enemy logistics have been reduced from 9 to 4. Interesting to note is we killed 11 scimitars and 3 basilisks throughout the course of the fight. We get a few more kills as hostiles try to flee with our remaining hictor.

In the end we held the field, killed at least 110 hostile ships, lost 70, and apparently won the isk war with a 52% efficiency, all while outnumbered a whopping 166 to 367. Thanks everyone for making our expedition to Etherium Reach the blast that it was.

No, FCON held the field and left because we didn;t give a damn about the station. Also FCON killed exactly zero SONE.

SONE were blue, whole deployment by FCON was to get experience before next CFC deployment and making sure people stay active and shit.

All in all, it was a lot of fun and now it is over.

EVOKE did however beat FCON fair, FCON FC fucked up several times that night, rest of the alliances there however lost so in the end FCON won ISK war in general, but EVOKE stole the show.

SONE left because FCON refused to share comms and merge fleets. Its quite difficult to synchronize when they warp out and in at random, leaving us behind to be slaughtered by EVOKE.

Was not aware of that, in fact, most in fleet kept asking FC why the hell we are not fighting together and sharing comms.

the SONE FC never asked even once to merge fleets/comms.

Obvious troll is obvious. That was a simple deployment, we never intended to "hold" the conquered field. We just wanted to lure out our enemies to get some kills, that's all. Also – in the end FCON was the one alliance which was still standing on the battlefield. Please get your facts straight.

      Black Core Federation Leaving IRC
      by wiseoak » 2012.6.14 5:45

As many of you are now aware, BC-F is leaving IRC. Their leadership has informed HC that they will be reorganizing as their own alliance and will officially leave IRC sometime over the next 24-48 hours.

As is our usual policy, we would like all IRC and BC-F members to assist with this transition to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible.

Please extend to BC-F the courtesy that we show to our +blues, as we wish them well in their future endeavors.

Ohhh, if that were only partially true….IRC almost lost half of CE. BCF got kicked, a 2nd corp got rolled under the bus, a third ratted on above two, and the other 3 are safe for the time being. Thanks to the infamous LD, and teh GREAT FC, Bobbi ATwall, the two men wrecking balls of IRC. They have created so much ill-will within the rank and file of IRC that most corps had a coup d etat over the last week or so. Expect more playground drama….

Bit of a misleading statement, there.

Black Core don't show up for fights, and IRC is becoming less carebear-centric. Drama happened when some hotheads thought SBUing cobalt systems on the way out was a good idea. Boots were applied to knecks, and everything got sorted and civilized. Bye bye BCF.

FCON deploying anything above a T1 ship won't last too long as they simply won't be able to sustain the ships seeing as they have no real idea of how to go about fighting in fleet battles or any battle for that matter.

IRC helping? Wouldn't that be more along the lines of hindering the progress of the side they were fighting for?

The write up was pretty good, right until the FCON POV , then it got retarded. So a few things, first when you link a video of fights, make sure they are the RIGHT fight, make sure you include the ENTIRE fight, not the parts where you are just killing us, show the parts where you got raped. Also stop showing the same shit where you have carriers in every fight. Now after you do all that, make sure when you "fix" a battlereport you add the right people to the right side, and when you do not know what side they were on, leave them in the middle, because was shooting ALL of us.

Best thing here, the video isnt even the fight, i dare you post the video of the real fight where we had a good fight, we both suffered losses, but in the end. ER Co. held the field, ER Co. saved the stations, do not state you did not care, beause you did, you wanted them.

Anyways, good fight, next time state the fact you got raped as well.

If you don't want Ev0ke included, press the BR link Ares Protectiva submitted. It shows you just how badly you got raped son. And if by ER coalition holding the field you mean running like kids and then coming back 30 min later after FCON decided to leave system to kill the SBUs that were left, then yeah, you held the field. It is clearly evident that we wanted the station.

SONE had around 9 losses in total, and did not get wiped out, we were indeed unhappy about having 3 separate fleets, as we all know 3 fleets hitting same target with heavy logi may give you a chance, 3 fleets hitting seperate was getting nowhere, SONE were there for the fight and nothing else and once EVOKE left we decided to keep the fight fair between the parties that were involved initially, GF all and look forward to many more.
