A major wormhole invasion has been ongoing all past week, and promises to continue on until at least next weekend. Major players include Norcorp, AHARM, Exceed, & Team Pizza among other minor participants vs. Russian WH corp True Power Team. Starbridge is rumored to be coming to their aid as towers and POCOs come out of reinforced over the weekend.

Though norcorp directors won’t reveal exact numbers on the amount of capitals in place just yet, there are easily over a dozen dreads, with even more carrier support.

The first engagement can be glimpsed here:

Battle Summary for J142528

True Power warped in five (5) dreads against an initial force of seven (7) dreads. AHARM then came online, warped in the remaining dreads, and the outcome speaks for itself.

An added note: during the fight, a sieged Moros piloted by one Norcorp member came under heavy fire. With some quick thinking, he emergency refit into bulkheads, and managed to skate out of his cycle with 5% structure left when the guardians landed reps. The outcome can be seen here:

^ This is how you hull tank a dreadnaught.

Agreed. It just ads so much to the tactics of capital fights. I bet this was the most fun fight this guy had in a long while. In any case it would be a crying shame if it got nerfed just because of butthurt noobs crying.

Advice for C6 dwellers. If you see norcorp/exceed building up in your system, punch them in the nose immediatley with everything you've got. They are there to provide a beachhead for AHARM and be a meat cushion. Norcorp/Exceeds tactics and security are sloppy and thier dead Time zones are your opportunity if you are committed to saving your system. They are incredibly weak then… Like 4 or 5 pilots online. If you wait until your towers are comming out of reinforced to fight, you are already too late because AHARM will be on the way. Counter attack and sieze the wormhole long enough to get in allies. Crash close every K162 that opens. Read thier playbook. Its the same every time and it is beatable. Don't wait to face Aharm and No Holes Barred together. Take them on one at a time and you've got a chance.

Ah yes true power team. I remember a bunch of them quite well. Almost killed a legion in a solo 1 vs 1, until they jumped in a machariel, absolution, and an archon. The archon repped the legion when it was in structure. Then sat I there and decided to self-destruct, since their dps was so pathetic, I self-destructed and flew away in my pod and no kill mail or loot for them.

Actually I had scrapped away the armor, so it was either within or close to structure. It was also the day I decided to remove the 100mn and make a dual plate mwd fit. Had I not done that I would have gotten away. Now I fly pure 100mn fit. My backup didn't come, they were too pussy.

ahh, and this legion is equipped with something like t2 trimarks, neutrs and _1_ medium focused pulse laser. By the damage dealt you can imagine how long we've waited until someone comes to join up for the kill. Well, no luck, so we settled on one lego when armor hit 20%ish.

Starbridge never showed up. AHARM's hand had to be tipped early, and with that many capitals in system, Starbridge never had a chance to get in enough ships through a single wormhole to have been of any use.

A few more capitals were caught during/after the destruction of the POSs. I would have liked to have seen the look on that Moros pilot's face as he logged on where his tower used to be!

My fault actually with all the dread deaths. Two things happened – some people DCed on warp in and we did not have enough DPS, dreads sieged with too low speed and did not make into shields during siege cycle. Second one is my fault – should've asked to set full speed and wait for it before hitting siege.
