Here is a battle report on the Cloud Ring hostilities which happened on May 8th. I just started on a new job, so I have been a bit away from my regular EN24 focus, let’s make it up for it today.

XZH-4X.EXE

An -A- Oracle fleet was roaming the Cloud Ring region when they bumped into a Fatal Ascension fleet shooting a Black Mark. Station in XZH-4X. Against All Authorities and En Garde scruffled against the FA fleet and ended up losing a couple Tier 3 Cruisers before their FC called for a tactical retreat and re-ship. This time they’ll hop into Tengus and gather around a Titan.

The Bridge went up right on top of the FA fleet, the -A-‘s ThunderCat variants chewed throughout the Drake and WelpCane fleet without much hitch, although at the cost of a few unlucky Tengus. The -A- FC showed superior to FA’s one – Zagdul – who suffered the same fate of this fleet at the very end. It is interesting to note how FA is now recruiting to “Vee Tactics”, by using a command warp-in and warp-out scheme, allowing better range control on their part. Local hit 180 with 80 of those being in the -A-/ENGRE fleet.

The -A- fleet went back home, somber on the fact of coming barely on top of the ISK war. Losing Tengus to Battle Cruiser is never a great trade, specially when someone brings a 2 Bil tengu and doesn’t anchors up.

As they were grinding the gates, news came of Fa and Zagdul reshipping and being back at the station. Eager to kill Zagdul and humiliate him further, the -A- FC – MAKA – called for a quick rendezvous at their bridging Titan. Using the very same recon which bridged them the first time, they once again jumped on top of the FA fleet, this time at the station. Wanting to farm kills against them, Maka along with Perseus Kalestratos – called primaries on the WelpCanes. With a local of 160 vs 80, our battle reporter mentions how this was the best executed fight they have performed during the night, only losing a few recons they managed to clear the field. Zagdul spent the entire fight 300km above the grid in his FC claymore. Once the main hostilities subsided one of -A-‘s interceptors managed to get a probe ping on him, tackling him and allowing the rest of the fleet to land at range to finish the kill.

Then someone a Fidelas Constans pilot decided it was a great time to warp to the in gate of the system a 1.7 billion Vindicator, an error the -A- fleet helped him to correct. Our battle reports give a shout to Battlekiller, who spent the entire fight camping the out gate – taking out warping pods.

So the -A- fleet returned home, this time a bit more relieved after tipping the ISK war scale on their favor – still the night was far from over.

Vily, of GoonSwarm Federation fame – bought in a small Maelstrom fleet to shoot the same station. The -A- FC decided to give Oracles a go – crassus mistake – they were slaughtered by the GSF fleet in no time as their Scorpion support jammed out the -A- guardians while the Maelstroms shredded the paper thin Oracle tank. The local rounded 170 this time.

Following this humiliating loss, the -A- fleet headed home (some twelve jumps) and reshipped in Tengus for a fourth bridge. After landing on top of the Maelstrom fleet, -A-‘s fleet entered in a bubble-like trance – Anchoring up, shooting primary, checking anchor, shooting primary, F1 for warriors, rinse and repeat. By this time the GoonSwarm Federation fleet had managed to flip the station, allowing them to dock up, although the Black Mark. TCU was still in place.

With their Maelstroms and Scorpions being able to dock up when primaried and some very good scimitar work on the part of the goons they managed a stalemate. We used some tricks that I wont go into, but we managed to kill enough of them that VIly and Zagdul ordered their fleet to dock up and wait for reinforcements. No point fighting with even numbers if you’re a goon.

4-2 to AAA (killing them and then keeping them docked count as 2)

The -A- fleet waited outside the staion for the enemy to show up in the field, it was 1:00 AM Eastern – the fight had been going on for more than three hours and many pilots had already expressed their desire to head home.

A few more minutes and the goon reinforcements bridged in, local was at over 200 with around high 70s in AAA fleet.

The many maels very getting their shots into our Tengu fleet, with some stragglers geting killed. We managed to kill a few goons, but with none of the success we had had earlier on in the night. So we began pinging to safes. Although not everyone was good at this, and we lost some tengus to probers. And scimmys, somehow the 9 scimmys we bridged in with had now become 2. Shit.

4-3

Figuring we couldnt take the goons ourselves, our FCs batphoned NC. who promptly bridged in around 50 Tengus and stuff. With this combined fleet we met with the Goons at the sun for the final showdown.

Which we lost. Not to point fingers, but the NC. fleet moved awful close to the massive goon maelstrom ball at the beginning of the fight, forcing them to warp off almost immediately. With only 2 scimmys left in the AAA fleet we had to once again warp off and start pinging safes.

4-3

As a dead end system the goons just warped to and camped the outgate rather than looking for us. Excellent move on their part and NC. decided to warp to the gate and tried to crash it. Didnt work out very well. Like butter going through Paula Dean the NC. fleet were melted by the alpha from the maels. AAA had also warped to the gate at 100 and seeing the state of the NC. fleet aligned out and warped to safes. Tengus were lost.

Seeing that there was no way out we had to ping for 15mins and then logged out.

4-4.

All in all, mittens is damn good at politicking, titans may be a bit OP, but a 200man alpha mael fleet is pretty imba as well.

XZH-4X Kills

RAW Intel

I had been sent another battle report, which I reproduce here in its RAW form:

-A- perspective

We were asked to regroup in Okagaiken. While reffiting into Tengu’s and Logis Maka turned on some propaganda audio.
Audio was about penises, showing how AAA behaves in battle and where it got Goonswarm players. Some random guys on AAA TS promised to make video available in near future.

I had feeling something bad is gonna happen. Some anonymous nervous FC started from kicking guys from fleet even as fleet already had poor numbers.

In that way we lost couple of frig dudes – possible scouts and some random support.
I managed to say my last pray on titan bridge.

Fallowing small bait success and killing 2 enemy logistic our forces ended trapped in XZH-4X system where massacre started. Hunters become hunted.

Second CFC fleed cyno’ed on system doubling numbers of our enemies to cut down our exit possibility.

Evil laugh of Zagdul in local and I started to see:
a last minute, a last hour, a last month, day, or year.
a last drink, a last coke, a last tequila, scotch, or beer.

Our enemies undocked and warped without problems to gate while FC was yealing on usuless support pilots which certainly lack of skills.
Enemies who fail warping while not being shoot by us docked. Why our FC never set up proper guys to do it? Our fleet aligned and fallowed to gate where…..massacre started.

Many brave Tengu pilots were lost in general panic on TS. FC was controlling stable ratio of our brave pilots being killed giving fail orders. Next -A- tengu Fleet vanished. A few random Tengu managed to get out few hours later.

Our PR specialist made our losses look good here.

Hope for better FC and better battle next time. I am slowly fed up of my Tengu being killed by incompetent FC arguing it is his own fleet fault as he kills us all. Who was leading this fleet? Hope he got balls big enough to point self on Killboard.

Not quite a good BR; Vily did not show up until the reinforcement alphafleet mentioned arrives, and "all was lost". It was 150-160 alphafleet, not 200. The final warp in of Tengus was at 20 km (perhaps pulled into a bubble) instead of 100, and thats where -A- lost most of its Tengus. Tacticals are hard, etc.

Im not a big fan of Zagdul, but he had a "good" FC-voice.

I love the "web. point, scram, paint" calling on T3s and the BLAP :)

What happened the day after those fights that you don't see FA talking much about:

    Round 1: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&adjacent&…

    Round 2: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&adjacent&…

    And those were even numbers.

Also the report from the "Anonymous" member sounds fake, or a total noob.

we had plenty of logi, fact is that after 2-3 hours of shooting, they tend to die…

The fact that he doesn't know his own fc either makes him dumb or someone impersonating a AAA member

Agreed. That report definitely is fake. I guess FA needed to do some propaganda damage control. Pitiful.

Wow this battle report is god aweful and full of shitty propoganda. To give an "actual" recap of what really happened without full out details, -A- and -FA- traded losing fleets all the way up to the last engagement to where -A- brought tengus one last time and with NC dot on the field in tengus as well, it gave villy the opportunity to just waste both opponents with little trouble. Without that horrible ass whooping -A- got from that fight it would have been a great day of pew pew to where no side was a clear isk victor. An epic day of battles for all, but once it turned into a three way the blob rolled both nc. and -a- over and that was it. The only comment i see with absolute truth being told is i see zagdul whining like a little bitch over how is horrible fcing wasnt the cause of the losses but people not doing what he said… He is afterall the best professional victim in eve lol.

If you bother to look you will see there were no vily/goons there until the last fight with the tengu's, you should really like….. fact check

"No point fighting with even numbers if you’re a goon." yes because tengu's are the same shit as maels and drakes… oh noz, they are not.

    Stupid ass comment

I dunno, I am bad at maths, but I think welping 2:1 hurricanes for tengu's is a good trade. Nice try in claiming winning the isk war. 160mil worth of canes for 600+ mil worth of tengu is a trade I will make all day every day. P-funny how Riv thinks he knows what is going on while init gets curbstomped 2 regions away.
