Cosmic Crew [CREW] faced the combined forces of White Noise., Cluster of Rebirth, and VooDoo Technologies, who came in response to their latest harassment campaign against Drone Russian Forces towers. The Crew came head on against VooDoo Technologies who bridged five (5) super-capitals, and assorted support ships, to take out Cosmic Crew’s staging tower in the BRT-OP system of the Great Wildlands.

The smack in local was high as the Russian forces were in a state of euphoria, until…

The Initiative. arrived

The Initiative., or InitDOT as we affectionally refer to them as, arrived in full force on the field. Local spam ceased at once as the “PlayBoys” made short work of the VooDoo Technologies lead fleet; managing to do so with no loses.

Two Thanatos were left behind as the VooDoo fleet supers quickly cyno’ed out, leaving the shattered remains of their fleet behind them.

Boratz, our battle reporter and Cosmic Crew CEO commented:

Russian pride took a battering from this seemingly easy conquest that they had anticipated before dragging themselves back to Drone Regions for a post battle vodka.

Nice to see InitDOT getting back on track.

Eve Kill Battle Summary

Drama Bomb

Not too many of our readers are familiar with Cosmic Crew, which were former BricK sQuAD. members during their residence in Geminate, they were responsible for a large number of DRF capital thefts including a Solar Wing Nyx stolen back in April.

Ever wonder how they did it? well read on :)

Over the last few years The Cosmic Crew (formerly known as War Whores) contested space in the Great Wildlands against VooDoo Technologies. During this campaign a strange sense of chivalry was developed between several directors of these fierce contesters.

The CEO of Elite Crew Corporation and deputy leader of VooDoo Tech, Takeshi Li, approached Cosmic Crew CEO on several occasions for a temporary collaboration against Drone Russian Forces assets (from which VooDoo Technologies is member of). Cosmic Crew was, of course, eager to help and under Takeshi Li’s direction, looted vulnerable assets and split the considerable loot.

It was also through this unlikely association that Cosmic Crew, and by relation the Northern Coalition, managed to obtain the DRF jump bridge password list. This became quite handy whenever Solar Fleet, Red Alliance, Solar Wing, and even VooDoo Technologies capitals were snatched off POSes.

These password were also being used on non jump bridge towers, providing them with access to a large number of POS’s, as it was not rare for Russians to use the same numerical passwords for practical purposes.

Cosmic Crew estimated over 25+ capitals hauled off these un-guarded towers, but the real number might be bigger. These capitals went to CC members, and also got sold to alliance members at great prices.

A month ago, the relation between these two unlikely allies was still strong.

Did Initdot lose a lot of space to scrubs in drakes earlier this year?

    Also, proof-reading for f***s sake.

The InitaitiveDOT was based out of Immensea, before losing all of their sovereignty and relocating to Curse. They now seem to pride themselves on tiny blue lists and crashing the party of anyone doing anything of interest within range.

They got duped by DRF and joined the wrong side. They had a good relationship with -A- before the fall of ATLAS. DRF came knocking on Immensea's door after ATLAS coupled with rumors of -A- attacking Immensea for "goodfites" made them join DRF to bump -A- out of Catch in 2010. In 2011 -A- came surging back with Stainwagon, DRF chose not to back INIT in that fight since they have already served their purpose as a buffer. INIT gets sandwiched by -A- hitting Catch and RA hitting Immensea. Withdraws to Curse, loses half its members. Been harassing RA pets in scalding pass since then as far as I can tell. Joined 46DP first fight where RA lost 3 super caps, joined on -A- side. As much as they might have hated -A- for the rumors of a coming backstab in 2010, gotta hate RA and DRF more for the actual real backstab.

If INIT. would have the numbers of AAA, there would be a INIT. Donout arround the empire.

Hell, the DRF would have brought like 80 Supers and 20 Titans to kill that Fleet ^^

"Over the last few years The Cosmic Crew (formerly known as War Whores) contested space in the Great Wildlands against VooDoo Technologies."

Eh? What? GW is pure NPC 0.0, not a place you can hold SOV. Meaning there is no "contested" space.

You may claim access to certain systems and try to kill everyone else, but nothing prevents others from going there or docking in stations.

    1. I lived in the Great Wildlands when F0undation lost to Enterprise Estonia / Cult of War, you can expell people from NPC but it takes time and effort, deny them moons and grief their undocks.

FDN never lost ot CoW..CoW were a part of FDN…
It was after the breakup of FDN that EE. reformed CoW…not letting a lot of the locals know they were now NBSI(Locals who still had them blue)..until they shot them.

The newly formed RE-AL battled CoW and after being pushed back initially they regathered their strength and made a good account of themselves as CoW moved to Sov space.

Wonder how the EE. guys feel now..as being members of NC. Dot they are effectively helping the very Russians they hate!
