Polaris Syndicate learned the hard way how not to deploy Dreadnaught in a progressive, highly competitive capital environment like Delve, the solar system was Y-OMTZ (Delve) and what transpired could be catalogued as a “Must-See!” for would be Dread pilots.

Polaris Syndicate Dreads Die in a Fire, BricK sQuAD. arsonists blamed.

Perspective from BricK sQuAD. member:

Fleet formed to rep up the i-Hub and station in Y-OMTZ. We were given word that there was an Evoke/Ewok/Polaris fleet moving towards Y-OMTZ for counter repair. BricK sQuAD. [BRIX] formed an armor fleet with Capitals on standby and a Hellcat fleet for support. Morsus Mihi [RAWR] formed a new type of armor fleet which consisted of mostly Dominix battleships.

*Editor’s Note: These Dominix (DomiCats maybe) aren’t really that new, Dominix with Sentrys assisted FC is a concept almost as old as the Hellcat.

Brick and RAWR headed out separately to Y-OMTZ with Morsus Mihi hunting the Ev0ke fleet and BRIX primarily focusing on killing the SBU and repping the ihubs in system. Route was clear the whole way there, we got into system and started shooting the ihub while RAWR engaged a small the evoke/Polaris fleet. I don’t really know what MM’s Dominix fleet did but it sounded like they raped the hostiles. Ev0ke had 5 bombers sent back to Y-OMTZ to bomb our hellcat fleet with main focus to pop the fighters we
were using. Halfway into the SBU armor, our cap FC is screaming “warp to me warp to me return fighters”. As support was warping a cyno went up on a hostile phobos and 6-8 Polaris Dreads jump in and immediately siege. They got one of our thannys to 25 percent armor right as the support fleet landed which got was repped and lived.

FC called for points on every single dread and we primaried the rev first. Brick expecting the Ev0ke super cap fleet to jump still continued on shooting the rev, which slowly melted. It seems Ev0ke didn’t show and the rumors were that they told Polaris that they were going to back them up, Polaris jumped in and Ev0ke said f*** that. By then first dread was down, the rev, and we started to go to work on a phoenix. Polaris had a small 30 man bc fleet mostly canes which they had on field with the Dreads and warped off when we landed. Once they were off, they and realized their Dreads were getting raped the slowly warped one by one back to the Dreads which we raped as they landed.

Second dread dropped and this is where the lol’s come to play. Polaris warped a triage Archon on field, which we immeadiatly locked up and started shooting. The carrier waited thirty seconds to triage for some reason, finally triaged and started repping the Moros we were primaring. He couldn’t keep up reps and Moros dropped. We quickly switched targets to the archon and dropped him quickly.

During the archons death one Phoenix managed to jump out leaving two pheonix’s on field. The two Phoenixs melted quickly with the fail Ev0ke bombers and Polaris canes randomly warping in killing some of our frigates. Brick held the field of course, we looted, killed the SBU and repped up the ihubs and station. Once everything was repped up fleet, happily flew back to 1DH-SX and disbanded.

  1. Ummm… what? I was there. My carrier was involved in all the cap kills. And honestly, reading this, I'd swear this report is from a completely different battle I had no part in at all. Usually I'm on your side riv. I see people bitching about fabricated stories, but I can usually confirm them as I was there. Other than the video and killboard battle report, this is completely wrong.

    1. The BR was written by a HellCat pilot, this is his POV, he was there, not me, if you like to "set the record straight", write a counter and i'll put it as an addendum, flying subcaps and capitals (i fly both) are two different experiences.

      1. Well, the second half of the report is accurate. The first half, is muddy I guess. Perhaps I overreacted a bit when reading it. Damn lack of sleep will do that to you…

MM were a backup, but they had headed out to Fountain on a separate op to fight TEST and keep them busy, at least from what our cap FC said. I don't think they were fighting EVOKE at all. Although both MM and BRICK had a surprise waiting had EVOKE jumped in. When the shit went down, our FC said MM were heading back from Fountain and wouldn't be here for a while.

"Started shooting the ihub"? No, we were repairing an ihub. The support fleet was shooting the Polaris SBU in system. And there was no Phobos on the Polaris side. Broadsword came in first, followed by an Onyx. Both were rapidly dispatched by our fighters.

When the dreads were dropped on us, MM raced back. Not to demean MM's effort – we're always glad to our friends watching our back – but they had basically very little part in the fight. They arrived right at the end as we were mopping up and got on the last couple of kills, making the killboard battle report look very lop-sided in numbers.

There are a couple of other inaccuracies, but meh, not enough for me to want to rewrite the report. Too tired and after my initial post, my give-a-fuckometer went back down to barely registering nanofucks. The jist of the story is we raped Polaris Syndicate, and that's the truth, even though details may be off.

And nice overlords you have there Polaris. They promise you backup and do absolutely nothing because they knew they would have gotten raped in the process. While I commend and respect you for having the balls to do what you did, counting on EVOKE to bail you our in case of trouble is expecting a little too much of them. The will not engage anything unless they know they have far superior numbers and a shitload of supers on standby in case they start losing. You guys have the wrong allies, methinks.

As a side note, I don't know why people keep using the [BRIX] tag for Brick Squad. That's not our ticker at all. It's [BR1CK].

          – Sorry but bullshit on the superior numbers. Read some Killboards from time to time. But yes, "Ev0ke has 90 supers"…
Again, Polaris wanted to do this alone. We offered help, they said no. Also, I really would have wanted to see that "surprise" by MM/Brick. Was it a *gasp* hotdrop with supers?!

Sounds like Polaris got raped trying to hot drop on ( 18 ) lonely carriers ..Failtarded anyone ?

    1. I think they assumed because we were repairing an ihub and station that we had a fleet of triage carriers that would have been helpless against their dreads. We went in with combat carriers. A miscalculation on their part.

Of course, they also were counting on Evoke to bail them out, which was probably their biggest miscalculation. Evoke don't give a shit about Polaris. They may be pets, but somehow, I still think that underlings deserve at least some respect from their masters. And it seems like that's not the case,

buddy you should actually start reading other posts than yours.
polaris does not want evokes help. they are strong enouph to do things on their own
and to survive welps like this dreadmassacre.

but i geuss you will never understand guys, that try to achieve something on their own without riskfree pvp.

Bobo that is not true. Polaris was in chat with Evoke at the time it all happend. Evoke had 40ish Supers on but got blue balled to sleep. Polaris sees an oppurtunity for a hot drop. They take it thinking they would not need evoke support. Br1ck are told to stand ground rep and delpoy fighters. 180 fighters hit the grind and engage targets. Polaris calls for support. Br1ck calls for support. Br1ck support is a region away. Polaris start taking heavy damage . Evoke logs on 10 Super Carriers. Their spys inform them that Br1ck and support are logging in Supers. Brick & support get word of Evoke supers logging on. Evoke gets word that Br1ck and support have over 4 times more supers logged on for counter hotdrop. Large subcap support fleet also inbound. Evoke tell Polaris Zayt Gezundt.( farewell )( yiddish) With 30k to 40k npc killed in Evoke space daily..Space jew is fitting. ..Friendly Br1ck was MM and a few other friendly partners in the area, It is my opinion Polaris would be better off siding with Br1ck. ..They might get better treatment.

    Wowowow, one minute there!

"…rumors were that they told Polaris that they were going to back them up, Polaris jumped in and Ev0ke said f*** that."

    – Ev0ke had no CTA planned as Polaris was certain they could pull it through alone.
Had they asked, Ev0ke would of course have enganged MM/Brick. They hardly come out to fight, so that would've been a good opportunity but again, Polaris didn't ask and it was too late in German TZ to scramble a big fleet.
Those few bombers were a random gang that was around the 1DH-area before.

Sorry but they (you?) don't. Skirmishes, yes of course, don't get me wrong. Oh, and your bomber squads are really nice and brave but truly big battles?
Remember, we had to arrange that last big fleet fight we had with you and it took you 30+ minutes to form up with 200+ in local.

Again, don't get me wrong but we really want bigfights to happen more often. Although, with Goons/Test on their way south, we both might end up fighting a common enemy soon.

The sub cap fleet came in then mm like 7 minutes or more later. The Dreads and sub cap fleet combined dps could not break the carriers tank. They should have known better. Their sub caps and some of the dreads warped out leaving their friends to burn down. Evoke Told Polaris " We will bring Supers ". Blues log on Supers, Evoke tells Polaris sorry we are out gunned…Sorry for all the losses your about to have. Zay Gezundt ..Pets face a pets death.

    September 12, 2011 at 5:29 pm Reply
    1. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Although only 1 Pheonix and a few support managed to warp out, Support came back eventually and died. At least Polaris managed to save 1 of their dreads.

And yes, as I posted above, Polaris have their faith in the wrong place if they think EVOKE will help them. Polaris are merely tools to try to disrupt Brick operations. Nothing more. And that's not even working. They'll use Polaris as they see fit, and let them die without a second thought. EVOKE will only engage if they can out-blob their opponents. They tend to run whenever they come up against an even fleet composition as they have in every engagement against MM / Brick since they arrived in Delve. They may have had a past of "glorious elite pvp", but without their Russian overlords steering them and giving them support, they've proven to be less than worthy in combat as of late.

They're kind of like TEST, really. They can get good numbers to outblob someone, but without their masters (DRF for Evoke, Goons for TEST) leading them and calling the shots, they're as useless as tits on a nun.

    1. Regardless of the length of my posts, you can't argue their validity (most of the time). I've been known to be wrong and can own up to it, but USUALLY don't pipe up unless I'm pretty confident about what I'm saying. And it seems most people would agree, even if I make their eyes / brains hurt. After all, most people aren't used to reading intelligently articulated common sense on the Internet and can't deal with it.

pointing sieged dreds – assumptions the mother of all fuck ups… point everything pointable starting with the dreds, if theyre not pointable then move on.

triage archon started repping the dred AFTER the dred came out of siege with only a small amount of armor left… it didnt make a difference.
i guess the archon waited cause the moros wasnt out of its triage cycle, and wanted to see how bad the moros would be once it came out. obv the archon pilot thought he could make a difference so then triaged to try get max reps but couldnt keep up with the dps on field.

TBQH, Evoke are total shit and are never to be trusted. Raiden/NCdots have discussed resetting those cowards for some weeks now. I will suggest to my co-leaders that we go forward with a full blown reset on Evoke to separate ourselves from those clowns. NC. will follow us or be reset as well, something that they will not let happen because they know how bad that will go for them.

Don't take this wrong, I like NC. guys, but it is what it is.
