NCDOT and Raiden. certainly know no time for rest as they keep pounding Against All Authorities space which as of now is feeling the sting of recent allies failures more than ever, the last of said alliances failures being the recent Imperial 0rder demise at the hand of one sleeping agent.

Today we bring you a battle report and a video for the battle which transpired in the CNC-4V solar system in the Catch region, here is the submitted battle-report:

Battle Report: NCDOT and Raiden. sub-caps obliges Against All Authorities to batphones Super-Capitals to no-avail in Catch.

NCdot and Raiden formed up to shoot something, probably a cyno jammer. Must have been a cyno jammer, considering the fact that -A- actually fielded supercaps and titans during the defense.

NCdot/Raiden scrambled roughly 100 souls for this fleet, and after bridging around east and west for a while, jumping some gates, we finally entered system. FC told us to be on our toes due to one or more hostile bomber squads. Bombers are bombers, what can you do. We kept warping those big abaddons around like there was no tomorrow, and at some point we actually engaged the iHub.

Story goes as predicted, bombers hits us, people take damage and we try to rep (me in a logi, obviously). We rep as best as we can, however, hostiles have a good set of ECM boats on us, making us lose cap chains and whatever…

Although we did our best, I am sincerely sorry for losing my first cap buddy. I took my eyes off him for a mere 30 seconds (just after it seemed he lost primary aggro)… and when I looked back, he was dead. I guess the evil hostiles had a lot of DPS after all.

Fleet is juggling around a bit, dodging bombers (for the most part), after the initial engagement we meet up with a dominix fleet. That was strange. We killed some of them, and warped off somewhere. Maybe it was the cyno jammer. About the cyno jammer, we probably got a few rounds off before -A- sends in their defense fleet. They also send in a couple of Titans and some supercaps, which is totally understandable. I’ll give them total thumbs up for balls, kudos to -A- for that (or whomever fielded them)

Anyway, the story continues with shooting a bit here, a bit there – The FC got lots of credit for performing exceptionally good in terms of accurate target calling. Logistics got a lot of hearts for doing a good job as well, although – we couldn’t keep up with everything. Bombs and ECM crippled us from time to time. Even if the hostile bombing runs were mostly vague and off target, they did hit here and there. Well, you know how that part goes.

The FC decides we should go home for a coffee or a maybe a beer, and so we did.

Thats about it. I just want to add that whomever thinks NCdot/Raiden can not fight without supercaps, you may want to take a 2nd look on that battlereport.

Commented nashau posted this video which is from Morsus Mihi’s Bomber fleet perspective.

We have been sent another battlereport, we thank Northsoldier for the insight:

From the perspective of an NCdot Abaddon

We had SBU’s in CNC to defend, that’s part of why we were there. We titan bridged 4 jumps out because the system was jammed and burned our way towards CNC. -A- and co. were at range on our in-gate and didn’t have bubbles up so we made it into system just fine. We played some shadow games (because of bombers) before finally settling on the ihub. We bubbled all over the place so that whatever fleet landed on us would land at our optimals and die terribly and after probably 5 or 10 minutes of shooting the ihub, their ahac fleet decided to come and play.

And play we did. They decided it would be a good idea to warp in on our bubbles and burn right towards our Abaddons thus allowing us to melt their Zealots faster than butter on a skillet. There was also a separate BS fleet of mixed types (mostly Geddons) and the fight lasted for at least 10 minutes. At that point our primary target caller died and it was getting a little hairy (due to being outnumbered significantly) so we pinged out to regroup. With only about 260 in local I turned on brackets and there were reds all over the place. Not a lot of NCdot wrecks though.

After a few more skirmishes and warping about, it was apparent that -A- and co. were in a state of temporary retreat to also regroup/reship so we looted the field for 2 minutes for cap boosters and then warped to the cynojammer POS and started dismantling it. We did a small bit of reshipping ourselves, incapped one of two warp disruptors on the tower, and were working on the cynojammer when -A- started logging in supercaps/titans that had logged off in the tower. It was at this point that we warped off the tower, Morsus Mihi brought their Domi fleet (maybe they were there earlier, I don’t know) and we started fighting again.

It got a little fast paced at this point as we were moving around a lot killing stuff. We were practically pinging around like a fleet of sniperhacs (just slower derp) at one point. we eventually managed to get on the MM Domi’s at zero and several of them died, we pinged out, warped back to some Geddons at zero who also died and did a lot of this for another 10 minutes or so. It got really difficult to apply damage because most of our Abaddons were capped out and out of boosters. I was in 20% armor at one point but the logi’s saved me. Mad props to our Guardian pilots actually, they worked their tails off and were the reason we survived so long.

The entire time we were harassed by bombers. Some of their runs were quite damaging but they didn’t accomplish more than popping our drones and scaring our Abaddons. They may have jacked up the broadcast window though, which could be enough to do something to our logis. Ultimately there was no decisive damage done by the bombers but their constant harassment was annoying and they probably did get some kills.

Our losses did take their toll, and it was clear late in the fight that we really weren’t going to be able to keep up with the blob, so we started making moves to get out of the system. We engaged the Morsus Mihi Domi blob on our outgate, killed Yaay in the process along with about 8 or 10 other ships and a Loki, deagressed and burned home towards D-G, bleeding a bit but satisfied that we punched -A- and co. in the throat. PK loldied trying to chase our fleet in a hurricane along with some bombers.
Not the best BR report in the history of man, but that’s most of what I remember from the fight last night.

That's just killmail whoring. Of course he's gonna be on all the killmails, he's using an AoE weapon. He just needs to do a bit of damage somewhere along the line. I've checked the killmails and almost all had a BS/super dealing the final blow. And we all know that an effective bomber run can instakill a bunch of ships if done correctly. Well, he did land the killing blow on one ship. I think it was an ammar noobship. :)

Dude, if you bomb the fleet before they engage. Stay in system, same the hostile fleet does, and wait until they die one by one. Then in a way you killed a lot of ships, but the bombs didn't kill the ships or even damage them to become a problem.

I was there and the bombs were nothing more than annoying.

Bombing main role is to confuse the logistic pilots to hell. If you watch the Ncdot video you notice alot of ships dying after each bombing run. People spam for armor reps when they are not even primary.

I care, because NCDOT/RaidenDOT are claiming a damage victory (since they did not take the field of battle). If their kills do not offset their losses (including the SBUs) then they actually lost the fight on all fronts (and therefore their arguement that they don't need super caps).

unfortunately for your argument even with the losses nc./raiden came out on top by 2x the kills and 5 bil in damage according to the battlereport where the losses are on the correct sides.

Does your calculation include the fact that the defenders took the field, and all the valuable loot and salvage? That probably would bring the margin much tighter than that. And if that is so, then they failed on their objective AND failed to create proportional losses against their enemy (aka, a total loss).

            September 9, 2011 at 5:13 am
          2. facts

damn, nobody cares for loot and salvage. try harder finding some arguments to make tripple shit and their friends look better. they failed horribly in things like fleet performence, they only hold the field because of the MM bomber wing which did a pretty good job (many top dmg dealers in bomber) and because of superior numbers.

If you want to details disclosed to the public, join fleet (on either side) – battle it out, and write the report yourself. Simple as that.

there were 2 rounds of fights. the first were sub capital vs subcapitel. i dont know the exact numbers, but nc. was outnumbered a bit but not 2:1 more like 1,5:1.
a-team had 3 fleets runnings the logis were split up to these fleets so fatlas ahacs were dieing while 10 a- guardians had no rep broadcasts.
in this first round nc. has clearly won.

but a-team reshiped and brought nearly the same numbers again and were losing again until their titans and supers started to enter the fight. this was the point where nc. run away.
andn ote that were 3 titans not 10 or 20 that changed the outcome of the fight.

if you have only 150 pilots or so and maybe 20 guardians it seems to be pretty stupid to me to split this force up in 3 individual fleets. that is what in my opinion made it impossible to win.

and what i said is 3 titans were able to make this fight a win.
until -a- pushed the "i win button" i think everyone involved in these fights can agree that it was good fight all the time even for a- team pilots.

and then suddenly all was over just because of 3 titans. that has nothing to do with fun (eve = game -> played because of fun) anymore. ok maybe its fun for the titans.

          4. Fatlas grunt

From what I understood what took place from the fatlas point of view. Fatlas ahac fleet welped. Our warpin was suppose to be 7km but was actually 50km from NC. fleet. Then our fc and anchor was killed instantly. -A- and MM did the majority of the fighting while we went to reship in geddons. It was reported on coms that -A- only had about a 30 geddon fleet. Some time in there -A- logged on Supers. Like 2 titans and 4 sc. NC. left when the fatlas geddon fleet arrived. I have a feeling if it wasn't for the supers logging in -A- and MM wouldn't have held the field long enough for us to reship and get back.

Theres a difference between a defensive fleet that happens to have 7 supers in a pos, and DRF dropping 25-100 Supers on any f*cking gang in existence….

Supers as defensive have never been an issue, there meant to be powerful the problem is projection when a fleet of ATTACKERS can field 25-100 supers and basically fuck anyone else.

That is someone talking about something they know nothing about.

DRF doesnt do that very often. Specially now that not every russian alliance is committed to the same goal.

Everyone is so busy thinking about that. DRF focus on one side, thats why they gather that many supers in one place. If people flanked them.. like gypsy and init did… they didnt have much to defend with. cos everything is at the front.

NCdot/Raiden lost a ton of Abaddons, -A- and MM lost alot of cheap ships (bombers, etc.). BRdoc doesnt give isk numbers, but I bet that -A- and MM won the isk war, but lost a ton of cheap ships

I heard that NC. lost a whole BC fleet two days ago to some small Alliances in Providence. Sounds like they know how to fight without caps it seems. Very well indeed!

Why do I get the urge to use the word 'retard' in every one of my EN24 posts? No one said a handful of supers are game ending, and anyone who uses this example of 5-6 supers not turning the tide of a subcap battle as proof that they're not overpowered is…well…you know.

This is more of a great example of the role that supers were intended to be used when they were introduced, as the anchor of a fleet. This looks like much more fun than a rolling train of 40 supes.

Because we can. Why do rich people fly around in private jets? because we're better than you (and have more money too).

I'm not saying it happened here. But. I witnesed not once -A- main FC shouting at other FCs not to bring theit fleets on the grid so we could have Good Fight with even numbers. Once I witnesed -A- FC, pulling out our fleet and rage quiting when, blue FC decided to get into the fight and therefore bloobed enemy.

Sometimes, 3 to 1 in system doesn't mean 3-1 in one fight.

You don't need to be rocket scientist to figure out that having 3 times more ships and supers on field gives you the victory.
The main thing is to have fun, especially when you know you have enough forces to secure the objective.

Well, I've been in NC.DOT fleets where we went to fight, got bridged to the target system, then 4-5 titans jump in with us (as the FC is raging -WHO SAID TITANS JUMP??).

So just because Titans and Supers jump to the cyno doesnt mean the FC asked for them. Sometimes those guys get bored and will just jump with the bridged fleet.

MindRanger….. Was bad enough to have to listen to his endless, mindless, drivel, but now we have to read it too?

Really not surprised he is trying to curry favor with Raiden…. But when you switch sides to an enemy, it does tend to show your loyalties and true colors.

Loyalty is a two way street.

Don't expect to receive loyalty unless you offer it yourself. If you are loyal to a party not loyal to you, its called 'stupidity', no less.

But its interesting indeed, seeing how you name yourself as "Ex-IT" – while flaming me for having issues with "true colors" and "loyalties". The word "Hypocrisy" comes to mind.

If you are so loyal and have all the right colors, how come you are an "Ex-IT" now?

And btw, I agree with you about the "endless mindless driveling" statement. You're spot on there.

your friends in this game were never unloyal to you, not even once. You switched sides and left them behind, for your own short term way of having fun. Fair enough but don't go praising the guys you loathed for so long. The countless rants about IT sucking, or NCdot are noobs and now you joined them and suddenly they are awesome. LOL

Makes you wonder al the rest you said was also just empty words.

Btw since drf including raiden are taking all the deserters in, expect some drama and a failcascade in the future.Throw those utterly arrogant idiotic ex-IT leadership in the mix, combined with some russians and you'll have a recipe for fail.

Are you sure you know the meaning of the word "Hypocrisy"? It is not hypocritical to be Ex IT and be hanging out with former IT corps in a new alliance. It is VERY Hypocritical to Badmouth Raiden, NC(Dot), etc nad then join them and think you are all BFF now. Bottom line is you are very typical of people who get all worried and tired of dying in a fucking game that you switch to the other side. The grass is never greener on the other side… it just appears that way.

Thanks for the comments on the bombers, Slowly getting better at it, but we didnt have to do all the damage, we dropped alot of your bs down to low armor / structure allowing them to die easily. Some clearly got reps.

Welldone to the logistics tho, must have been confusing what was dieing to enemy fire and to bomb damage, Just watched your vid :)

See you all again and thx for the fun
