In what it looks like to be another casualty of the increasingly brutal and aptly named “Delve Thunderdome”, Nulli Secunda alliance decided to throw the towel, pick their shit up while still intact and leave both the Delve and Pediod Basis regions, the following forum leak, written by NULLI alliance leader progodlegend officially orders his troops to leave while there is a chance and throw some light on Nulli Secunda’s future.

Leak: The Delve Thunderdome claims another victim as Nulli Secunda bails Delve and Period Basis.

So Progod the leader of Nulli has decided that it’s time for the alliance to bail out of PB and Delve and has ordered the entire alliance to leave. Here is the forum post he delivered yesterday. So a few of the corps within Nulli are now talking about dumping the alliance and moving to one that has some balls since clearly Progod does not abandoning PB and Delve without a shot fired.

Official Orders – Update and Move Orders – What you need to know

« on: Friday August 19, 2011, 10:30 »

Ok guys, I know I promised this post a few days ago giving more details, but been busy in RL … blah blah blah you’ve heard it before, anyway heres the post, sorry for the delay.

We’re moving (not deploying—moving) to TG-Z23 in Stain. Get your PVP ships there, get your clones set. We will be relocating with -A- and our other allies to continue a different type of war than the one we have been fighting. There has been a dip in the action the past week or so, which was understandable, but we are getting it all sorted out, and actually have quite an entertaining time planned ahead. Here is all the directions you need to get there and everything else you need to know about it, all of which has already been explained to your CEO’s and directors.

First off I’m going to reiterate that we are moving to TG-Z23 in stain (III-8 station). This is not just a deployment, but we are pulling a majority of our assets out of PB, and bringing them with us to stain, including carebear ships, as we will be making isk and living there for the foreseeable future. THIS DOES NOT MEAN that we are not defending our space in any way shape or form, but it is more based around three simple reasons. Basically, we need to be deployed on the east front in Stain, we need to make isk and be able to stick it out for a long time, and during that long time it is possible delve could fall and then period basis, and we want to be prepared. If our space does get hit, we will still be forming to defend it just as we would at any other time.

So with that in mind we will be moving most personal assets out to tg-, and non-essential corp assets have already mostly been moved out. Since this deployment is much more like our old roadtrips, each corp will be responsible for getting their members to the deployment area, so look to your corp mails for the specific instructions, but basically we want to all be setup in tg- with pvp ships and carebear ships by Sunday, 21 August. We will be running roams starting this weekend, and we have a test server op planned for Sunday. But by Sunday, there will no longer be ratting allowed in the pocket, as we will be shifting isk making over to our location in Stain, which is actually very profitable (some of our more talented carebears will be putting out guides and helping you guys out with that, personally it’s not my expertise).

So, get with your corp leadership about getting moved over to tg- and getting the necessary stuff out of stations in PB. The market seed from our space has been entirely uprooted and moved to tg-, and the LGK market (where -a- is staging 5 jumps away), is also becoming well seeded, so if you want to move out and buy stuff there, that is also an option.

You need to bring all your pvp ships out, but here is the fleet comps we will be starting with. We will be trying some new things, but those will come later with plenty of advanced notice:
– Panic geddons (coalition fit)
– Alpha Tempest
– Sniper HAC’s (yes the return of snipe hac’s)
– Bombers (bombers will be used heavily)
– Shield bc’s (both drake army, and our cr shield bc’s)

Yes I know that you probably have some pvp ships for some fleet comps that weren’t listed (armor hac’s), bring them anyway, we will find uses for them, do not leave any pvp ships behind.

Now as far as what we will be doing in TG-, we have a few main goals that we will be working towards. First off, we are becoming more intimately involved in the direction of our coalition, and this is great considering how much we were already involved. For those of you frustrated at some of the events of the past few weeks, mistakes were made, there’s no dancing around that. Though you should know that there were as many Nulli FC’s involved up at the top level as there were -A- fc’s, and I’m sure many of you noticed myself, Guderian, and others fc’ing parts of those fleets. The simple fact is that we cannot go up against the number of supers they are able to field at times, and focusing heavily on one system like HED made it very easy for them to focus all their supers.

So changes have been made, new plans made with our help, and we will now be fighting a different type of war. We will be working hard on a coalition level to ensure that any time the DRF do RF a system, they have to work extremely hard to eventually take it. We will take the fights we can, and focus on harassing them at ones we can’t. Fleets will not be stood down anymore as long as there is an FC, and we are going to focus on having a lot of fun at the expense of our enemies on a coalition level. Be`tween timers expect plenty of roams.

Besides the goal with have in the war with our allies, we are also going to finally be taking advantage of the situation living in TG- will present to us, and focus some time on getting back to the small and medium gang pvp we used to be much better at. There are plenty of roaming targets around the area, and some very skilled groups as well. We will be running some test server ops, and probably rolling out some fun new gang types as well to mess around with (we got some pretty good ones lined up to test), so look forward to that, those should be some good times. Also will be taking the chance to bring a few of our less experienced FC’s up a notch.

So there will be plenty of ops running, plenty of kills to be had, and conveniently located places to make isk right in and around our staging system with missions and -1.0 true sec stain ratting. So with all that put in place, here is what you need to focus on to get ready for all of this:
– Get your PVP ships, clones and some carebear assets to TG- in Stain ASAP with your corp.
– Make sure you pay attention to the fortress-catch and gears of war channels, fleets will be going up periodically make sure you pay attention.
– In between the fleets, get your mission standings up, or if you prefer ratting do that, but set up your income stream. We will still do what we can to help, but take advantage of the good income stream here.

Nulli roams will be announced in advance on the forums, and we will be focusing on strict fleet comps for those, so take notice and make sure to have the right ships. There will be plenty of other types of roams as well.

So be ready to involved in a lot of fleets, and get the test server sorted out, because we are going to be doing a lot of things differently, and honestly I’m excited about the new situation we are in.

Brace for coup in 3… 2… 1… just kidding :).

Yeah, I love it when Riverini twists alliance mails 180 degrees.

Nulli have absolutely no risk of losing Delve to MM/Brick. They are doing this to stand with AAA on a daily basis until the DRF can be repelled.

      1. what

Err, MM and Brick aren't attacking Nulli's space and have no interest at all in taking it at this point. MM, Brick and to a lesser extent BORG have been helping HUN Reloaded and Chaos Theory defend their space from ev0ke. We haven't even touched Nulli's space.

        August 23, 2011 at 3:09 am Reply
        1. Ex-NC

I think we need to redefine "helping". If by helping, you mean doing all the fighting since HUN and CHAOT have evacuated their respective constellations, then yes. Brick / MM / BORG have done a lot of fighting to save that space for CHAOT and HUN in recent days. Not once has a HUN member been in any fleet that I've been in. We've had a token CHAOT presence. And funny enough, we've had more Omega Vector (renting from either CHAOT or HUN, not sure which) presence in fleet than the other 2 alliances combined. For a small carebear renters, they've actually put up a pretty good fight. I'll give them a tip of the hat for putting up more of a fight than their overlords.

And as for Nulli's space, we have an NIP agreement with Nulli that we will honor. Add to that we're not interested in their space. The sov Brick and MM holds is really so that we have a small home for our grunts to be able to grind a bit of isk in our down time. Nothing more. This isn't about empire building as in the NC days.

So yeah, no one has to worry about losing Delve space to either MM or Brick at the moment. If there's anyone to be worried about, it's Evoke / Ewoks. They're the ones doing all the sov grind here right now.

          August 23, 2011 at 6:48 pm Reply
      2. CnC

I'm pretty sure MM/Brick have a NIP with Nulli, and while they get some good fights between skirmish fleets, have no intention of touching their space.

I know its hard for many in EVE to understand, but MM really does seem to not give a damn about sovereignty at the moment. Could they take Nulli space? Sure, why not. Do they want it? Nope.

So you are right. There is absolutely no risk of losing Delve to MM/Brick. They don't give two shits about Nulli space beyond where to find killmails (which if I read the map correctly, is now either towards Catch – -A- pets, Querious – Atlas & Cascade, and/or Fountain – Clusterfuck space). Come to think of it, you can find a healthy number of killmails from all of the above on MM/Brick killboards :-)

Very chicken shit post if you ask me. One can debate the wisdom of trying to say we'll defend our space while we move the majority of our assets to Stain. One may also debate why we didn't tell -A- to F-off when they threatened reset. We came, fought as hard as any then threaten reset….screw em. That's just my personal opinion anyway but orders are orders.

For the record Riv….we have met every challenge put to us (Nulli) in Delve and then some. Lately there's been little action on that front for us so tell me how the Thunderdome forced anything from Nulli?

This is less about abandoning space then it is about standing up to DRF with -A-. Anyone that fought us in Delve, including you Riverini, should know that we aren't abandoning Delve because we are "another casualty of the increasingly brutal" region. We ruined your HoboCoalition repeatedly and your response was inevitable: turtle up in NPC Delve or reship into bombers. This is a chicken shit post and you know it. NulliSecunda, being a smaller and poorer alliance than you and your BFF's are trying to do something about DRF, not running away from them like the scared women in shitsquad.

Exactly. It's not that Nulli can't hold their space (they definitely can), but they've been ordered by AAA to move or be reset. It's better to keep your friends than to keep your space, especially since DRF is going to steamroll it in a matter of weeks anyway.

      1. stoicspoon

Exactly. S2N are not losing their space to anyone. They could ride it out in Delve for a long time before the DRF is done with AAA. However, they are instead choosing to go all-in on the front line.

It also sounds like they will probably fight if someone actually attacks their sov while they are in Stain with AAA. It's just that they are prioritizing the coalition's overall best interest.

S2N are great allies and good guys. This proves it more than anything before.

The problem isn't the core DRF as much as the fact that their situational allies have decided to permanently keep them blue after the NC was defeated. PL Raiden NCdot put the Russians over-the-top in terms of super numbers. Only PL has reset anyone, and I believe their reset to be somewhat meaningless because they won't work for anyone who wants to fight the DRF.

Even with the Super Carrier nerf, DRF allies will have enough titans to throw any major fight in their favor. We need a titan AND super carrier nerf, and it will have to be a MAJOR nerf to make any difference. If it just reduces dps and EHP by some percentage it will be meaningless, there needs to be a counter.

And yes DRF seems to be somewhat like the new BoB, except they don't have the crappy diplomatic strategy that results in former allies resetting you. They seem to be keeping everyone in the same boat so far.

The fact that PL refuses to work against DRF is also a problem. DRF is the only one reliably producing supers that are for public sale, so PL is dependent on them keeping space. PL is the ultimate "king maker" and no one can do what they do.

AAA and friends have all shut down super production, and I have to guess TEST Goons build fewer supers than the DRF with their "fuck supers" attitude.

    1. The Ghost of Phreeze

It is pretty simple my friend.

EVERYONE is waiting to see what shape the supercarrier nerf takes in the winter expansion.

This is much the same as pre-Dominion when many major entities withdrew from offensive actions to wait and see what the hell would happen.

Once the details of what will happen to the DRF's massive supercapital advantage become clear, you will see action, although I'm not sure if it will be successful.

The DRF and friends control Tribute, Vale, Geminate, Branch, Tenal, the Drone Regions, most of the East, and are intent on conquering the South. AAA and friends can't defend by focusing everything into one region as they are now. A multi pronged counter attack is the only route that will give the DRF pause.

Without a Goonswarm intervention (highly unlikely), such an attack is unlikely to succeed unless AAA hires Pandemic Legion, or as you stated, a third power emerges to take advantage of the clearly overstretched DRF.

The EVE way would be to bribe the driver to take control of it. Sell all spare parts, raze all service stations and then pull the steamroller apart while laughing like a madman, and posting the story to the approriate forums.

When they start doing something else than building their NAP train I might start to respect those closet RMTers again.

And people complaining about DRF… again. Shut the hell up and do something else than whining for example join a faction that actively fights against DRF, when it bothers you so much. Or else DRF might win EVE. But rest assured, because nothing will change for you bears, since you will be ratting just like before, the one and only big difference might be that you will your rent to a DRF alliance.

For a one-year-old alliance they are really impressive. There are many 5+ year alliances with 2000+ members that can't match up to S2N on their best day.

They aren't PL or something but they are very dedicated. They have a couple FCs that can be trusted with major ops and the grunts all seem to have their shit together.

Abandoning our space and leaving Delve/PB? No We're just not blithering idiots.

We intend to hold our space, if it all possible. Any scrubs who makes a move for it will quite probably earn themselves five second appearances in a panic fleet video. In fact, we are leaving our space to go defend our space – the greatest threat to our space is currently in our allies space.

Someone from the Refugee coalition should understand what the real threat to Delve is… Why are you "the refugees", and why did we agree to granting you the space we were taking when test&co bailed? Once you figure that out, you can thank us for stepping up and defending your space. And keep in mind that with most of our pilots based 30 jumps away.. You are still the easiest targets in delve.

Our normal cycle is month on/month off. We rat up a couple bill, then go on deployment . This time, we are planning on an extended deployment – we expect to be fighting for the rest of the year. With this sort of campaign, it only makes sense to take the carebear ships with us to sustain the campaign – at least for those of us without other sources of income.

Plus, there is a very real possibility of a stupidly large force – backed by a super fleet which we are unable to match – showing up in or around our space in the near future. Ie, the very people we are fighting in stain. There is no point in having non-essential assets at risk in our home systems if we are not there to use them.

Obviously, we'd rather be in Delve. For most of this year, the thousand or so players active in Delve have quite probably had more fun than the rest of 0.0. But nothing good will last if you are unwilling to defend it, so off we go.

The truth is, after a really shitty turnout last week for one of the GE- timers, there was a big meeting. Everyone agrees that it was necessary to consolidate.

If Nulli lose space they can take it back later or relocate. Right now the coalition needs to put everything aside and work together in one place or there is no chance of victory.

The stuation in Catch region and surrounding is getting hot every day and there is couple of tactical solutions against DRF + Pets. I was talking about this solution like 2 months before all this started to my bodies.

DRF is a big entity , it is so big that cant swap its own ass. Tactically DRF+pets using "Spear Head" tactical manuver to deal with its enemies. Spear Head is too strong to resist and if you try to head-on with it you are dead. The funny thing all entities who have faced with DRF invasion done the same mistake to head-on. When DRF attacks a region , it attacks in full-force and pulling every possible back-up groups in to the warzone. This is their mistake but no one using this to their advantage (Even AAA i am in).

If we look to the DRF war finance, its showing us that their main money coming from Tech-moons, 2nd Renters. Overal Rent price lets say for -0.5 security its 5-6 Billion and for -0.7 to -0.9 is 12 Billion, if you count the regions they are controling (every region nearly have 30+ system) and multiply it with average of 6 Billion; nearly 180 Billion from 1 region a month. They are controlling nearly 10 regions now, 1.800 Billion in a month.

You could ask why does it bother us what they earn, it should bother you because you are fighting with their terms. Their Hard Steel's smooth spot is their Rental income. If any chance you like to slow down and even hurt them bad you need to harass their renters and attack on 6 to 10 fronts with multiple fleets. Their main motto is attacking from one side and attack hard. They cannot fight with 10 scattered fleets. if you gether 100 man BS (Abaddon) fleet and send one of that fleet from empire exit point in to the DRF rental zones and harass every POS, IHUB, TCU you find, multiply this attack with 10 fleets, so DRF cant over blob every fracking fleet with SC + to this their renters dont feel safe in thier beds, they cannot RAT-Mine or anything safely, as you all know when this happens "Renters" leave those places and try to find new safe zones for themselves.

    Crippled income means;
    – DRF cant rent "Mercs" to fight for them
    – DRF cant produce SC and other Cap sized ships that easily
    – DRF war insurance cant insure that easily
    – Goes on………….

So if AAA (my group) and rest of the anti-DRF invasion is smart use Scattered 100 BS Guerilla Fleets into the DRF zones they have a success chance at this war. Cause there is no means of fighting DRF in one system and pray not to be SC Blobed. We have seen this before, when they loose the upper hand they always push the "I WIN" button. So dont expect fair fight from them.

Tip to you guys : If you break the SAP of the Spear Head its not function as it is used to be

    Edit Note: Grammer check

It would work, but there are not many alliances that flourish in those conditions. You would need 10-12 highly skilled and mobile alliance that get their income through advanced means and want to live like nomadic mercenaries. However, if you had that, then you could just form it all up and take on the "spear". You don't have the forces that would _want_ to do what you propose–never mind if they are able.

-A- is as much to blame as anyone. For years they have exploited every situation possible for a quick lulz while the Russians have built lasting relationships with allies. The NC was the only counterpoint to them in the game and we where vilianized for our naps "a cancer on the game" I seem to recall being called. To counter the DRF you will need allies, not pets. DRF domination of Nullsec is just a fact for the near future. Maybe ccp will make some rule changes that make it harder, but they are not going keep them from working together. I am no longer with the NC crowd, but the NC approach to working together is the only near term hope to answering them.

100 man BS Guerilla gangs? Yes, go head and try to get that deep into DRF territory. You will get sucked in 40 jumps then camped.

They are more than neuts, they are turning into full-on reds.

They are aggressively trying to camp AAA's staging system during their prime time and generally focusing 100% on AAA and ignoring the DRF.

They are the only ones with a tower still alive in LGK. The DRF suspiciously didn't reinforce the Stain Empire POS. Gee I wonder why?

TLDR: Stainwagon is on DRF's side, not AAA's side because Tek (key SE fc dude) is furiously angry about AAA fcs not waiting for him to show up for a fight 2 weeks ago and generally doesn't like the AAA blue list. Apparently he prefers DRF blue list.

      August 23, 2011 at 1:31 pm Reply
      1. Jarlexly

The funny thing is , all AAA members respect Tek (including me specificly ) but the emo rage he has shown and the action he is doing isnt in the boundary of that respect.

Their action in the first place depended on one thing "We are not getting enough enemy to pvp, because AAA surrounded themselves with blues" and plus to this "AAA has blued the NC ".

The reasons up there are reasonable to you right? ,and after this they have explained that they'll go to Delve (Tek is obsessed with Delve, when we were doing roams with him and we have lots of fun) to make more PVP with lots of target aportunities. This is reasonable too right?

So what comes out? They arent doing any shit in Delve , nor they are killing any previous Neutrals, they arent even attacking DRF forces, they are just trying to cripple AAA support routes and dont touch any DRF+pets on the way. So we understand that the reasons before they have announced are just the camuflage to their hidden agenda. Making hidden arrangements with DRF and signing a NAP with them and trying to prey on bread pieces falling from the meal table.

Stain and Coven hide what ever coverage you are trying to hide behind, its isnt changing anything that you have sold your self to the DRF Pimp Train and dont expect people to respect you after this action as a L33T PVP Alliance. You are now a DRF whore and it seems like the pimp is riding you like a horse in caged fence.

As to those who criticize Nulli for deploying to aid -A-, what would you have them do? Nulli isn't large enough or have enough supers to go solo. Abandon an ally and switch sides during an hour of need? Great allies they'd be then. Nulli is clearly doing what is best for them in the long-term.

Would you have them bail on their allies and ruin their reputation as steadfast and reliable friends? The alliances that bail on their allies usually end up failing before long for reasons that should be self-evident to anybody with a half a modicum of intelligence. Of course you're going to win when you bring a 400 man blob against 125. You can brag your victories, but when it's someone else bringing the bulk of the fighters, you can't really take singlehanded credit for it.

That being said, you guys are fun to fight 1 on 1. Under those conditions, we won some, you won some, and everyone had fun. No lagfests, no blobs, etc. I already miss that. You guys definitely have my respect for giving us good fights.
