Several readers of our previous story have complained that our initial list of Iskbank.com customers was brief and didn’t contain enough information. These complaints are entirely valid. To satisfy your hunger for more information, we got in touch with Icy One – who had previously created a list to cross-reference characters and their current corporations/alliances – for assistance in mining the data. He’s managed to crunch the data (minus personal data, which was removed from his copy) into an easy-to-read format.

The Eveisk.ru data has been added and compiled here as well. Eveisk.ru accounted for an additional 2,761 paid orders and about $93,000 in sales, bringing total sales for both sites to around $386,000.

We have also managed to include data on what customers ordered. It should come as no surprise that most customers ordered ISK. Other orders are for PLEX, ships, implants or even characters. Unfortunately, character sales do not list the name of the character sold; instead, the orders are by Race followed by a number.

Note that all corporation and alliance information reflects the current memberships of the characters on the list. Since we are now including the order dates, interested parties should be able to determine the membership of individual characters at the time they purchased items or ISK.

Thanks go out to Icy One for all his help making sense of the data.

Update 1: Hours after our first story on the Iskbank.com leak broke, all listings for ISK,  items and characters were removed from both Iskbank.com and Eveisk.ru. While there’s no way to be certain of the reason for this change, we invite our readers to draw their own conclusions. We have also received reports (one sent from an email address we have confirmed belongs to a former Iskbank.com customer) that some of the players on the list have been banned for engaging in RMT activity.

Update 2: The pages for both Iskbank.com and Eveisk.ru pages are now unavailable.

  1. Think of this: every time someone buys ISK illegally, they are fucking CCP, fucking honest players investing the small leisure time they have and fucking the game in-general.

riverini, you are from majesta, right? they're on the 14-th place int the list. what are your thoughts about that?

      March 11, 2011 at 3:15 pm Reply
      1. My personal thoughts is that THEY SHOULD BE EXPELLED from ME, one of them is in my corp FFS, but ultimately that decision belongs to my corp/ally leadership.

Majesta Empire does not endorse botting or RMT usage for any of their members, tekai and the pm before him has been very clear on that, also that's one of the reason we included the time of purchase dates.

The part about "fucking honest players investing the small leisure time they have….", isn't that the case with buying isk legally too?

wouldn't that make them no longer honest players?

If you buy ISK through PLEX only, PLEX prices drop making it easier for people with ISK but little $$$ to play. Think poor countries. PLEX prices become kind of a real-value-of-$15 or month of play w.r.t. ISK.

But with current RMT selling PLEX for RMT, the bots are causing inflation of the PLEX. This does not really cause a problem for the RMT, they just run one more bot to compensate. On the other hand, players in poorer countries that can play but can't afford extra $120/year in subscription, are priced out of the PLEX market.

As another example, 30-day GTC used to cost 120m ISK. Now, this is 330m ISK.

So how does it hurt EVE? Less people, more bots. That's the result of RMT.

Its simple CCP dont have to be stingy about what Plex costs, Why not make Plex according to RMT price, at least compete, there was a time when RMT websites were 50% Cheaper that means alot to starving college kid or Single parents, or hell in this economy in general.

If you guys are saying buying RMT is screwing over hardworking Eve players I say so is Plex. Same result just different source, now if they get hacked or scammed oh well to bad that is the price they pay to deal with shady peeps but dont try to say its vastly different, they are both selling ISK for real currency.

You're making it sound like people are starving if they can't afford to buy ISK.

EVE is a game with many ways to make your own ISK. And it's ridiculous to say "make PLEX according to RMT price" because RMT isn't supposed to exist, it actually inflates the value of PLEX so that it's harder for legitimate EVE players who rat/mission/plex up their ISK to buy PLEX the traditional way.

It's pretty simple economics: Bots inflate the prices of everything on the market, making it harder for the players who don't throw extra money at the game.

          2. BntyHunter

Then they need to fix bots, But if you work hard and get ISK why not be able to sell the ISK?

You assume its just bots but in reality its Tech Moons alot of times, and in alot of cases like some in ME literally the same Tech ISK gets sold to RMT`er back to ME grunts…that is Lols

Fix bots with punkbuster type setup thats the real problem.

Explain how RMTing is different from plex? No one will take that question on because its the same…just more expensive. You pay real money you get ISK

    You made me smile :)

People that buy clearly and obviously illegal ISK and then complain because their in-game name is released on EN24? Srsly, if that was the worst thing happening to them, they can still be happy ^^

This is a site about Eve and this matter seems to concern many Eve-players, its no big surprise they release everything they can get.

Actually that would not even be too wrong. They already gave their details to an illegal site in a country with weak internet-laws.
They clearly could have expected them to be used fraudulent.

The site is not illegal, nor is the purchase of ISK. It is against the EULA, that is all. CCP's rules are not the same as law. And were it the case, CCP's rules would only affect players in Iceland anyway, as even Icelandic laws would not be enforceable internationally. But go ahead, keep being a fucking retard that doesn't know anything about the real world.

When people use the word "illegally" they clearly know it has nothing to do with the police coming to thier doors, and charging them, and imply that people are that dumb is just ridiculous, when words like "legel" or "illegally" to obtain isk, I think its fair to say we all know(besides Che Guevara clearly) what what that means.

The fact Che Guevara feels the need to inform anyone that CCP doesn't write laws for the real world international community maybe the most foolish thing i'v ever heard someone say on this site.

Um are you stupid ? Um oke here is an example so maybe you can understand from it:

You are an owner of a house(trailor prolly in ur case). You are the sole owner of it so you define the rights for it. Who can live in it who can enter it etc.

Now a man walks up to your doors and asks you to let him in and you say no. Now think about it think really hard while your milking that cow.

        You, sir, are an idiot.

All items in the game are the sole property of CCP. The selling of those items (including ISK) violates every tenant of international property rights. CCP can get an injunction against RMTers in their home countries (See blizzard and their crackdown on RMT in WoW and the recent "disapperances" of RMTers in China)

No they can not and that you are writing that shit proves that you're the greates retard ever seen. What all these RTM sell is not ISK or items or whatever i.e property of CCP they sell a service of obtaining these items for you and charge you for that. And sorry about that but you can't take them to court for that Blizzard won the first time around against RTM's after that they changed there approch to the service way Blizzard did it a second time and got school'd badly:)

RTM disappering from WOW has nothing todo with crackdowns you stupid fuck.. Blizzard made obtaining gold in WOW so fucking easy in the last expention that gold is now fucking worthless so ofc the China guys moved on to the next game.

….or property law (originating in the common law for the U.S.) or intellectual property law (originating under the Constitution for the U.S.), which is specifically different from regular property law. Those differences are substantial under any nation's laws.
