IT Alliance weakness has suddenly resurrected many groups trying to feast on the rich tables of their former holdings. Many high end moons in lowsec and 0.0 NPC regions are being reinforced and taken over by small groups like HUZZAH-FEDERATION and others.

These parties know, there is 0% chance of IT being able or willing to defend those, so there are many easy killmails for towers killed by only handfull of ships or bombers.

Taking over these moons is a no brainer, honestly, IT can't afford to defend them, and though smaller entities in the long run won't be allowed to keep them either, IT's antagonists won't really bother with taking them until the main fights for control of IT's space are won either.

So, think of it as a chance for small alliances or maybe even corps to grab some high ends and get maybe a month's worth of riches from them. If I weren't so fucking sick of knocking down POS's, setting up POS's, and running them I might grab one for myself :)

not only is this sort of thing already in full swing by the NC and DC, but lots of lowend buttholes who think they can defend them are throwing thier hats in the ring. So those who think fighting will be over as soon as we're all blue to each other, i think not.

      "blue or die!"?

so you are just like atlas ("take what we offer to you or suck our collective") or molle ( … uhm he doesnt speak with us directly … we are worthless in his opinion)

Honestly, post-Dominion, the massive multi region Empire has pretty much become obsolete. You don't need multiple regions anymore, you need multiple constellations, they will do the same job, cost you less ISK, and are easier to defend than having to go clear across the map.

It's going to take awhile for the remaining dinosaurs to die but I think we will be seeing the end of monstrous (but mostly empty) 0.0 empires in the near future.

I believe hes saying those alliances that hold lots of space but dont have enough people to occupy/ defend it. Since post-dominion 0.0 alliances need to consolidate more. I doubt that means NC will fall, but hey you never know

I think something PL demonstrated very well in late 2010 is that significant wealth does not require Sovereignty. At the same time, the current mechanics combined with Jump Bridges allow for very distributed alliances. Look at how mixed up Cloud Ring is at the moment.
