Mercenary Coalition (MC) that has been resurrected in 2010 is dead. After Cursed Inc., Body Count Inc. and Shade. left, the alliance is just a hollow shell. The project can be seen as failure, as MC didn´t manage to do anything of note and as mercenary outlet has been absolute non-existent.

The only contract we had knowledge about was a plan to hit Querious and its CSAA´s in January, however with participation and communication issues, MC was unable to raise even a medium size fleet for the task.

MC overview:

  1. 0.0 pilot

everybody laughed when they were made, I doubt anybody is surprised by this.

Kind of sad to see, but of course the window of opportunity for a relatively small, but high skill subcap and capital and supercap heavy has pretty much closed.

I honestly expect PL to wither away at some point. Their effectiveness will be decreasing (due to the growing number of supercaps) and they will be forced to either become yet another sov holder involved in politics, and yes, grow their numbers or they will fade into irrelevance. Thing is, PL has managed to stab almost everyone they once were allies with (except the RMT Russians) so one has to wonder, who WOULD allow them to hold space?

RIP to a once decent Merc group. Resurrecting was a mistake, simply too much competition. I notice Cursed Inc.’s membership had plummeted while they were members too…

Using a name of alliance that was quite a legend in EVE, without haveing some real pvp potencial and good organization, is both sad and stupid. From the same beginning this new MC wasn’t doing too well, I’m glad it’s gone, it was more a parody of the old one than any real continuation.
