IT Alliance (IT) managed to defeat the ClusterFuck (CF) coalition (Goonswarm/TEST/WIDOT/others) on Sunday in Z30S-A (Fountain). A absolutely vital jumpbridge system for IT, as it connects the Fountain NPC core to the main IT constellations. Final reinforcement timer, this time getting out right after downtime.

IT was already in system setup with 350 men fleet right after DT, wheres CF had to get in. IT grouped the biggest supercapital fleet for them in this war and were ready to use it. Once CF cynoed in supercaps/capitals lag was horrible and one of the aeons bounced of another supercap and drifted off the staging tower. Quickly the IT capitals were on him and they manged to kill him before he was able to get to safety. Client reported location 65km from POS, wreck was on the POS shield. IT pilots told us, that it actually got into the pos bubble deep in structure, as they lost lock, and then the aeon died when the last citadel cruises and other missiles hit him inside shields.

Surprisingly the support fleet defeated IT battleships+other stuff and thus even with the aeon lost, the k/d ration and isk ratio is in favor of CF. However the objective met, SBU´s were destroyed by IT and they saved the system. So we call them the winner of Sunday here.

The downtime time period seems to be the right one for IT to prime their structures, as CF cannot match the IT supercapitals in this timezone. And even without support or with support badly beaten as in here, supers can hold on their own.

This is the turning point in this war, up until now IT has been on the back foot but not for any longer. With all the goonies now back at school we will remove them and their pathetic pets from fountain before taking the fight to them in cloud ring.
Watch out goonies, here comes IT and there’s nothing you can do to stop us!

With all respect, you can’t do shit in US tz, and that means you can’t really reclaim what’s already lost. And we’re doing much better in EU time than you do in US, look at battlereports. Also all alliances from Foutain are pretty much dead, only Hun Reloaded is holding together (but well, no one expected Huns to breake easily). We’re slowly making progress and we’re surely going to keep the pressure up, even if you’re finaly mobilized and giving a real fight. :) War is not over yet, but surely our situation is much more comfortable that yours.

take off your rose tinted glasses and look around. Your not making any headway and have less sov than last week. At the sametime the IT numbers are growing. Test participation seems down and your also getting less pos bump outs.

            Looks like stalemate to me

dont think that because EN24 says ur winning, youre really winning, thats your faction propaganda, nothing more, its not an objective website, here are some objective statemens, In 1 month of campaing, DC has only taken PNQY station from IT, and it was because we were deployed in catch and come late to rescue and the talos station, cuz they dont even know how to put the timers right, nothing more, you are more, and you cant even get any other thing, youve been trying for weeks with no success.

So 2 stations in 1 month, and one becase we were not here, gj dc, you already lost a mom and a titan, and plz dont take into account the fighters killed in the isk lost, is just insulting.

Many/Most of the Fountain alliances have collapsed or evacced, two stations and a number of systems are still in enemy hands, IT isn’t exactly winning this.

That said I think it’s fair to say that the momentum has shifted to more of a draw as IT found a TZ it could compete in.

the aeon kill on the eve-kill net killboard appears both on the kill (goons side) and the loss (it side) side. So the stats should be corrected from :

    clusterfuck side pov
    kill : 41B
    loss : 30B

    to:
    from clusterfuck side pov
    kill : 21B
    loss : 30B

The it alliance kb is a better reference though..

      Yeah.

I’m not too impressed with the analysis that goes along with this reporting.

“CF lost a supercarrier, but they killed 40 more battleships than IT so it’s reasonable they should come out 10B ISK ahead.”

Does that pass the smell test with anyone else?

Spot the mystery Supercarrier kill by CF on the EVSCO killboard?

Penny to a pound that the killboard is counting the SC kill against both sides here and adding 19B ISK to the butcher’s bill for IT. That’s the only way those loss numbers make any sense at all.

IT loses 1 carrier, 86 BS, and 61 smaller ships.

Estimates: Carrier is about 1B, the fleet BS fit is probably an average of 200M between the cheaper Apocs and the dearer Maels. Average the other ships at say 100M to account for a mix of cheap frigs and expensive HICs.

Back of envelope estimate says 24.3B for the IT losses; killboard says 41.6B.

Riddle me this, where is this extra ~17B in losses coming from?

This is the EVSCO killboard we’re talking about, not the IT one.

Are you suggesting that CF actually killed an IT supercarrier and that they’ve been keeping it on the down-low for some incomprehensible purpose?

That would involve IT fiddling with their kb to hide the loss and CF coordinating between all their pilots to keep it off the public kbs and also removing it from their own kb; and the resultant upside to this effort on the part of CF would be to make it look like they lost worse in the battle than they actually did.

I guess that bizarre, paranoid fantasy could be true; or it could be that the EVSCO killboard is just having a bad day.

For the sake of some balancing to this report:

    IT KB point of view:
    http://www.killboard.it/?a=kill_related&kll_id=247967

Also, IT alliance dominated the field with the supercaps, 13 titans and over 30 mothership, CF forces have retreated under the POS shields. Apart from the AEON that was killed, there was also a tackled Leviathan, but he managed to kill the tacklers and jump to safety in half shields.

Also, system defended and repaired fully ,while numerous CF JB network and station systems hit during that same day.

That would be relevant if the numbers you’re looking at on the killboard related to the number of ships in the system at any one time; but they actually tell you the number of unique ship/player combinations seen on kills throughout the entire battle.

e.g. Sipious appears in both a Drake and a Nyx.

Ok, Goons you need a new strategy for winning Fountain. Get on the bat phone to MM/Razor. Tell them you suck and can’t take IT even with half the NC. You need the other half to help. Then you can have 2k man fleets camping 6VDT 23/7 and IT won’t be able to log their caps on.

I really wish Goons would stop talking about the Eye of Failure. I will laugh if you actually throw up a JB to PNQ, IT’s Sniper Hacs won’t have to go as far to camp it.

    http://www.killboard.it/?a=kill_related&kll_id=248018

If we average the two (i.e. your ISK losses posted above) we get the following:

    IT ISK lost: 30.07
    CF ISK lost: 31.48

Or roughtly an even outcome on the isk front.

Although Eve-Kill now puts the isk side in favor or IT.

Only 14 systems out of 115 systems are actually taken by the Dumb Coalition. Only 22 systms out of the 14 systems have actually stations, one been PNQY. So much crap propaganda and achieven nothing. With all the talk about who is winning vs who is losing, just a few questions:
      1. Who has taken the most space off the other?

      2. Who has lost the most corps and pet alliances and members?

On a purely objective basis, I would suggest that DC ARE winning, as they have taken several systems from the IT coalition, whilst the IT coalition have made NO inroads into DC space. Also, given how many people are abandoning the IT coalition, entire pet alliances fleeing back to empire and losing a lot of corps and members, whilst DC are losing none to my knowledge, this would indicate one side IS beating the other yes?

sorry your logic is flawed – NC Block are on the offensive and have a pool of 40k + players to tap into. IT are on the defensive and are holding ground a single alliance with some combined <10k pool of players to tap into.

IT is not after taking space it is defending its space and to be honest it is doing all right considering it is facing down the largest block of players in the game.

Also it has taken the initiative and is assaulting CR at the same time. This is not for space just harassment and disruption.

Please if your going to spin and do the normal NC / Goonie propaganda bull shit use your brain and think things through, Not everyone will fall for weak arguments that are only semi based on truth and absolutely no analysis of the situation. IT can get numbers to beat CF once… after downtime on a Sunday.

And even then they lose the subcap fight.

Also every single one of those things IT went on to reinforce that day was saved with almost no fight (aside from that little “warp to cyno, lose ships and run away with no kills” maneuver in 9r4). Nice counterattack. You sure have them goonies on the back foot! Nevermind the fact that your last real allies have imploded while you’re up here doing nothing in Fountain.
