December 25th

Christmas waits for no Goon, as the Deklein Coalition hit the Fountain residents hard again, with over 400 ships showing up to down a Blade. Capital Ship Assembly Array, it’s former contents are still unknown.

The NC on the other hand successfully defended their own CSAA’s in Vale, with again over 400 pilots showing up. The PL fleet of just over a hundred discovered the better part of valor and decided to save the fight for another day. It’s certain that PL’s strategy of going on the offensive will continue, but it’s effectiveness is questionable at this point.

December 26th

R.A.G.E Alliance has a problem on their hands, as the Convicted Alliance turns on their former landlords. After some heated words and an eviction notice, Convicted decided to turn to the Drone Russians rather than abandon their rented space. After a spy in the Dem0n Hunters Alliance offlined two TCU’s in neighboring systems, Convicted has reportedly tried to capitalize on that as well. It’s up to the Drone Russians now, to save their new allies in the RJ-1R7 constellation of Geminate.

The stalemate in Impass has turned into a war in Catch, and The Initiative is on the defensive. The station system of AOK-WQ was taken today by AAA. With the tide turning in the direction of AAA and it’s allies, how long will it be before IT has to get involved again?

December 27th

Out in Wicked Creek, the Alliance of True Reign is fighting to hold on to it’s 0.0 holdings. A coalition consisting of many alliances and led by Red Alliance reinforced and took the station system of M-MBRT, and two other stations. While True Reign still owns three other systems, their ability and desire to defend it is seriously in question.

December 28th

Without IT to help them, the Initiative has lost two more station systems in Catch to AAA. Is this situation hurting morale in The Initiative? With the numbers they’ve managed to field each battle decreasing, one has to wonder.

A combined Russian Force including members of the Drone Russian Federation and White Noise, came to Providence looking to steamroll Ev0ke and Not Found from their new holdings. Ev0ke and Not Found., made the Russians pay dearly for their Hubris: killing 218 and only losing 72, and by the end of the day, no SBU’s survived.

The H-PA system in Venal got very hot today, as PL, probably bolstered by previous successess decided to take on a force of superior numbers. They lost the battle handily, and also lost another moon. PL’s efforts to take another moon in Venal were also dashed at the same time in WLF-D3. PL will almost certainly be back, but with the losses mounting, one must wonder how much resolve is left.

December 29th

And with that the question is answered, PL deployed 22 titans in an amazing show of force today, saving every reinforced POS. It is telling that the PL reports killing every NC FC as soon as they appeared on the field. Given such circumstances, the further claims that the NC is “afraid” to deploy supercaps may indeed be grounded in a reality of poor counterintellegence. There are few battles that 22 titans cannot win if they remain unopposed by similar nmbers of supercaps.

Reports, However, that PL own all but 1 of Venal’s Technetium moon were unconfirmed by any neutral party.

The dynamic of the Providence war has again changed, with Chaos Theory Alliance not going quietly into the night. They’ve teamed up with CVA and are fighting back hard. So far CVA and allies are losing, but only just. Another alliance to bolster them, and this war may grind to a halt.

PNQY is still a battleground, as IT and the Fountain Residents have begun trying to take it back. As of yet, No SBU’s have lasted long enough to threaten sovereignty, but IT doesn’t seem to be committing fully to this fight. It seems like they’re leaving the Fountain residents in a holding action. That begs the question, where is IT?

Catch, apparently. The Initiative finally got some much needed backup from IT, and managed to hold the field in GE-8JV. That’s the only good news for the Initiative though, since they lost 18 carriers in the battle. No one’s mind is changed about The Initiative. They’ve lost 4 stations and 18 carriers this week, and it’s become clear that they cannot win this war without IT’s support.

R.A.G.E is treating it’s Convicted problem like no problem at all. In a 80 vs. 80 battle, Convicted lost handily, and recieved no help from the Drone Russians. LR-2XT in Geminate had it’s Ihub destroyed, and it’s station is in it’s last timer.

December 30th

IT tried to duplicate it’s win in Catch in Fountain, but failed miserably against the Goonswarm. Over a thousand ships died throughout the day, and the Deklein Coalition has held the field. They actually managed to reinforce a Talos station in 9R4-EJ in the mean time. With such huge numbers there remain only two options: IT is committing fully to this war and failing, or are they not committing their full force, and also failing.

Neither situation is good for The Fountain Residents.

True Reign, with a bit of help from Noir. Mercenary Group has managed to take back it’s station system. In a move no one saw coming, they’ve fought back hard, and are using every force available to them to keep their space. Even if it’s not enough, they’ve put a serious dent in the plans of Red Alliance.

December 31st

The only news today is huge, with at least 8 titans dead in Venal. PL, fresh off a victory, deployed it’s titans again in an effort to drive the NC off the field. The final showdown happened in Y-W1Q3, and the NC came out far ahead, downing at least 6 PL titans and 2 PL motherships while only losing 2 titans.

Needless to say, this changes things.

This has been Eve News Now.

Special Thanks to Eve News 24, CCP, and Dotlan.

Good Day!

Other than your information being totally WRONG, good job…

Dec 26th, Convicted NEVER turned to Russians. Russians were planning an offensive into Geminate before Convicted was given the finger. As an alliance, Convicted did not want to give up OUR space without a fight. The Russians fought their battles, we fought ours. There was no support given or expected from Russians, this was a Convicted thing.

Dec 29th, read the f*cking killboards before you make yourself sound like an idiot. We had less than 60 pilots, they had almost 120 pilots during the fight, bolstered by another 20 or so cap/scap pilots after they destroyed our cyno jammer. By that time the fight was over, though. Your ignorance in trying to make it sound like we lost an “even” fight is shocking. This was a classic lolNC “let’s outblob the enemy” fight. We fielded 25 battleships, they fielded 53 battleships. Half of our forces were bombers, and several of our pilots reshipped after losses, which is the only thing that pushed us even CLOSE to 60.

But oh yeah, your a lolNC member, so you wouldn’t know anything about the TRUTH, just the version that suits your own ends.

From what I saw of it RAGE spent the 26th-29th losing piles of ships with failed SB runs and when engagements of an equal size happened it was Convicted that came out on top. More research on the part of this reporter would stop silly issues of misinformation like this.

Jeez So PL lost 6 titans, and some SC , big deal. The NC lost 2 in that fight and has lost 2-3 over this entire war, not to mention all the SC they have lost.. Plus with all the moons that PL took, the NC really need 3 more wins like this before it can even claim to be back at square one let alone mounting some comeback..

Can you please use better background maps? Maybe ones with the sovereignty colors for the stars, instead of just white dots? Thanks

A good report all in all.

I think it would be impossible for anyone not to have even slight bias in some places for someone who plays and, while the info is not always completely accurate (KBs can sometimes take a couple of days to work it all out, regardless of owner/API sync so those whiner fags can STFU…who cares if it was 10 carriers or 50, you still technically lost/won) and it atleast places the fights in the the right places and tries its best to give an accurate account (which is also impossible since so many people say but it didnt *blah blah* we acctualy warped to moon x then….etc).

Its a lot better that reading a hell of a lot of pages thats for sure and gj for doing it and having the balls to stand up to people to try and do something like this. And also, good for you for actually putting in a perspective. Reporting is one thing, questioning the report and asking the open questions is another.

However, it would be nice to see some of the screenies that people post in the odd report of battles or cap/supercap kills to show up while doing the report and also a highlight of the area in the region the action is taking place, just for easier reference.
